PUMA Mind is a co-funded project aimed at enhancing the understanding of the behavior of fuel cell systems in vehicles taking advantage of the new freedoms in design that electric powertrains provide. Within this project, IDIADA focused on the integration of fuel cell systems in the automotive sector and the resulting fuel cell power demand profiles were used as base line to develop the fuel cell technology within the scope of the project. This paper presents a further study on the PUMA Mind vehicles with the simulation software for Simulink environment vemSim developed at IDIADA. The paper deals with the sizing of a pure fuel cell vehicle, a hybrid fuel cell vehicle and a plug-in hybrid fuel cell vehicle. For each case, a dynamic vehicle model and an energy management algorithm were implemented in vemSim in order to calculate the required energy storage and optimize the powertrain efficiency and range in a variety of real driving conditions. Finally, simulations results were used to evaluate the impact of the hybridization degree on vehicle weight, components size, hydrogen and electric consumption and variability of the fuel cell and battery load. Those results unveil that all typologies of hybridization mentioned in the following paragraphs reach the target of range and obtain good performances according to different mission profiles.

A new set of low-resolution spectral and UBVJHKL-photometric observations of the symbi- otic nova PU Vul is presented. The binary has been evolving after its symbiotic nova outburst in 1977 and now it is in the nebular stage. It is found that the third orbital cycle （after 1977） was characterized by great changes in associated light curves. Now, PU Vul exhibits a sine-wave shape in all the light curves （with an amplitude in the U band of about 0.7 mag）, which is typical for symbiotic stars in the quiescent state. Brightness variability due to pulsations of the cool component is now clearly visible in the VRI light curves. The amplitude of the pulsations increases from 0.5 mag in the V band to 0.8 mag in the I band. These two types of variability, as well as a very slow change in the physical parameters of the hot component due to evolution after the outburst of 1977, influence the spectral energy distribution （SED） of the system. The variability of emission lines is highly complex. Only hydrogen line fluxes vary with orbital phase. An important feature of the third orbital cycle is the first emergence of the OVI, 6828A Raman scattering line. We determine the temperature of the hot component by means of the Zanstra method applied to the He II, 4686A line. Our estimate is about 150000 K for the spectrum obtained near orbital maximum in 2014. The VO spectral index derived near pulsation minimum corresponds to M6 spectral class for the cool component of PU Vul.

The paper presents the main conclusions of the Russian monograph “Geochemistry of Phosphorus” (2020). Based on statistical processing of ~6100 sample averages (from ~190,000 analyses), new estimations of World averages (Clarke values) for Р2O5, % (and P, %), phosphorus-titanium module (P2О5/TiO2), phosphorus-calcium module (P2O5/CaO), phosphorus-iron module (P2О5/Fe2O3), and phosphorus-total iron module (P2O5/Fe2O3 + FeO). Many estimates have been made for the first time. In addition to the new Clarke estimates, sometimes very different from previous ones, the work carried out has led to a number of new conclusions. In particular, the titanium geochemical barrier for phosphorus has been first estimated, all the 11 genotypes of phosphogenesis have been named and characterized, five genetic correlations of phosphogenesis have been described, lithochemistry methods have been successfully applied to characterize the phosphorites. Due to the large breadth of generalization, the monograph has a large theoretical and applied value.

The purpose of the article is to compare the conditions of development and support of fast-growing companies in European countries, Asian countries, and Russia. The comparative analysis performed is of interest as certain countries, including Russia, face the problem of economic slowdown. However, the fast-growing companies are powerful catalysts for the growth of the gross domestic product and the employment of the population. The conclusion of the study is that there are common patterns in ongoing support programs for fast-growing companies： long term, state support, innovative company orientation, and concessional financing. At the same time, there are fundamental differences in approaches to the state support for innovative companies. The first approach relates to the natural development of the fast-growing innovation companies and their support programs （Germany, Denmark）; the second approach is aimed at artificially stimulating the growth of such companies （South Korea）. In Russia there are institutional features of supporting fast-growing companies： small businesses are the most vulnerable part of the economic system and they require state support in crisis situations. Therefore, the experience of European and Asian countries in terms of supporting innovative and fast-growing companies can have a positive impact on the development of innovative companies in Russia. And definitely it is important to try to understand the nature of Russian innovative fast-growing companies： do we see them as entrepreneurial business as we do in the Western companies？

In this paper,we point out some practical obstacles arising in realization of compressional optical coherence elastography(OCE)that have not attracted sufficient attention ***-cally,we discuss(i)complications in quantification of the Young modulus of tissues related to partial adhesion between the OCE probe and soft intervening reference layer sensor,(i)distorting influence of tisue suface curvature/corrugation on the subsurface strain distri-bution mapping,(ii)ways of signal-to-noise mtio(SNR)enhancement in OCE strain mapping when periodic averaging is not realized,and(iv)potentially significant infuence of tissue elastic nonlinearity on quantification of its *** pnactical approaches to mitigate the effects of these complications are also described.

Algal-cyanobacterial communities, soil nano- and microfauna, and mycelium of micromycetes were studied in soils of an administrative district of Moscow. To characterize the habitat conditions of microbiota in the soils of different functional zones of the city, the acid-base conditions and the contents of exchangeable and water-soluble nitrogen, mobile heavy metals, and soluble salts were determined. The diversity of species of algal-cyanobacterial communities, the composition of the dominant species, the proportions of different ecological groups of diatom algae, the diversity of soil nano- and microfauna, and the abundance of colorless and colored mycelium in the urban soils were characterized. The analysis of these parameters showed that the degree of technogenic impact on soil microbiota decreases in the following sequence of functional zones of the city: industrial > traffic > residential > recreation.

BACKGROUND Suicide is a leading cause of preventable death worldwide,with its peak of maximum incidence in later *** often puts an individual at higher risk for suicidal *** turn,depression deserves particular interest in old age due to its high prevalence and dramatic impact on health and *** To gather integrated evidence on the potential risk factors for suicide behaviour development in depressive older adults,and to examine the effects of depression treatment to tackle suicide behaviour in this *** A systematic review of empirical studies,published from 2000 onwards,was *** behaviour was addressed considering its varying forms(i.e.,wish to die,ideation,attempt,and completed suicide).RESULTS Thirty-five papers were selected for review,comprising both clinical and epidemiological *** of studies focused on suicidal ideation(60%).The studies consistently pointed out that the risk was related to depressive episode severity,psychiatric comorbidity(anxiety or substance use disorders),poorer health status,and loss of *** social support and loneliness were also associated with suicide behaviour in depressive older ***,the intervention studies showed that suicidal behaviour was a robust predictor of depression treatment *** in suicidal ideation were moderated by reductions in risk factors for suicide *** To sum up,common and age-specific risk factors seem to be involved in suicide development in depressive older adults.A major effort should be made to tackle this serious public health concern so as to promote older people to age healthily and well.

BACKGROUND Necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC)is a multifactorial disease that predominantly affects premature *** dysbiosis plays a critical role in NEC pathogenesis in premature *** main risk factor for NEC in term infants is mesenteric hypoperfusion associated with ductaldependent congenital heart disease(CHD)that eventually leads to intestinal *** incidence of NEC in neonates with critical CHD is 6.8%-13%.However,the role of the intestinal microbiome in NEC pathogenesis in infants with ductal-dependent CHD remains *** SUMMARY A male term neonate with right atrial isomerism underwent modified Blalock-Taussig shunt placement on the 14^(th)day of life and had persistent mesenteric hypoperfusion after *** patient had episodes of NEC stageⅡA on the 1^(st)and 28^(th)days after cardiac *** microbial composition was analyzed before and after cardiac surgery by sequencing region V4 of the 16S rRNA *** surgery,species belonging to genera Veillonella and Clostridia and class Gammaproteobacteria were detected,Bifidobacteriaceae showed a low *** first NEC episode was associated with postoperative hemodynamic instability,intestinal ischemiareperfusion injury during cardiopulmonary bypass,and a high abundance of Clostridium paraputrificum(Clostridium sensu stricto I)(56.1%).Antibacterial therapy after the first NEC episode resulted in increased abundance of Gammaproteobacteria,decreased abundance of Firmicutes,and low alpha *** changes in the microbial composition promoted the growth of Clostridium sensu strictoⅠ(72.0%)before the second NEC *** A high abundance of Clostridium sensu strictoⅠand mesenteric hypoperfusion may have contributed to NEC in the present case.
