Morphological characterization and phenological modeling were carried out on genotypes of Jatropha platyphylla collected from the states of Sinaloa and Durango, Mexico. The morphological characterization evidenced the existence of monoecious plants, finding individuals with male and female flowers in the same inflorescence. Fruit with four seeds was also found. The phenological study was divided into two phases and calculated in thermal requirement (°D): Vegetative [seedtime (0), germination (24), emergence (98), cotyledons (87), second (302) and fourth (524) true leaves, end of vegetative growth (302)] and reproductive [flowering (303), fructification (342), maturation (126), defoliation and senescence (450)]. The thermal constant (2558) was similar in all eight genotypes. The phenological stages and the accumulated degree days were adjusted with a third-degree polynomial (Stage = -0.0041x3 + 0.7446x2 - 8.6808x + 6.2448) (R2 = 0.99%) stage. The development of phenological models facilitates the prediction of the flowering date for the selection of varieties with high oil and protein content.

为建立BMY牛的活体采卵(OPU)-体外胚胎生产(IVP)-胚胎移植(ET)快速扩繁技术体系,从人工草地全放牧牛群中选择健康的经产空怀BMY牛作为供体(n=14)集中OPU一次;卵母细胞经TCM-199体外成熟培养(IVM)、Fert-TALP液体外受精(IVF),受精卵用合成输卵管液(SOF)体外培养(IVC)生产胚胎;BMY牛受体(n=81)用CUE-MATETM孕酮阴道栓+EB+FSH+PG方法同期发情处理,对黄体合格的移植OPU-IVP来源鲜胚。研究结果表明:①OPU头均获卵母细胞23.50枚,获10枚以上卵母细胞的供体占85.7%;IVP的平均囊胚数和可用胚数分别为5.21和4.00枚;OPU前8～9d卵巢上有黄体(CL)的供体,头均获卵母细胞数及IVP的囊胚数、可移植胚数、囊胚率和可移植胚率分别比对照组高7.28枚(PnRH,其妊娠率比对照组高16.2%(P>0.05)。结果显示,BMY母牛具有良好的OPU潜力,但个体间差异较大;可通过严格供体选择及改善IVP技术等措施,实现OPU-IVP效率最大化。CUE-MATETM+EB+FSH+PG同期发情处理方法适于在牛规模化胚胎移植(ET)和人工授精(AI)中应用。综合应用OPU、IVP、同期发情和ET技术是加快优良BMY牛扩繁的重要途径之一。

Aim: To determine etiological, therapeutic aspects and issues of AGP in intensive care unit (ICU) at University Hospital of Brazzaville (UHB). Materials and Methods: It was a retrospective and descriptive study carried out from January to December 2016 in ICU at UHB. We collected completed medical records of patients admitted and operated for AGP regardless of age or sex. The parameters studied were age, sex, admission’s reasons, etiologies, management, post-operative complications, length of hospital and mortality. Data were treated in Excel 2010 and Epi info 2007. Results: Thirty-one complete medical records were identified (mean age: 40.6 ± 22.0 years). The sex ratio was 2.4. Shock was the most common reason for admission with 67.7% of the cases. The etiologies of AGP wn>ere dominated by gastroduodenal perforating ulcer (41.9%) followed by complicated appendicitis (19.4%). The management of all patients was medico-surgical. The bi antibiotic ceftriaxone-metronidazole was administered in 29 patients (93.6%). 18 patients (59.1%) received vasopressor therapy. The complications had occurred among 9 patients i.e. 29% of the cases;parietal suppurations represented 44.5% of the complications. The average length of hospitalization was 5.2 ± 4.6 days. niigata City in Japan and Khabarovsk City in Russia signed a sister city agreement in 1965 and have been interacting with each other for a long time. We have been conducting comparative research on the elderly between the two cities, but there is no research on the young. Distorted perception of body weight and unnecessary dieting behavior in adolescent girls is considered a problem in both Japan and Russia. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to clarify the distortion of weight perception and diet behavior of adolescent girls in both the countries. In addition, it was decided to investigate the eating habits of people in both the countries. In total, 195 15-year-old girls from niigata, Japan (October 2020) and 286 girls from Khabarovsk, Russia (February 2017) were surveyed. The questionnaire used was an excerpt from the World Health Organization survey on the health behavior of school-age children. The proportion of Japanese adolescent girls who perceived themselves as overweight (distorted body weight perception) was 60.5%, which was significantly higher than that of Russian adolescent girls at 30.1% (p n addition, the prevalence of weight loss behavior in Japan was 34.9% (n = 68), which was significantly higher than that in Russia with 27.3% (n = 78) (p nt girls in Japan had more serious problems with weight perception, but had fewer problems with breakfast and vegetable intake habits than those in Russia. From a young age, perception of correct body shape and establishment of eating habits are important not only for current health but also for future health. We need to carefully educate adolescent girls that their body undergoes major changes through secondary sexual characteristics during adulthood.

Antimicrobial Activity of Wild Plant Seed Extracts against Human Bacterial and Plant Fungal Pathogens

Five wild plant species belonging to different families (Chenopodium album, Plantago major, Elytrigia elongata, Filipendula ulmaria and nigella sativa) widely spread in Russian Federation and the former USSR were evaluated for their ability to inhibit growth of two important human food-borne pathogens (Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Listeria monocytogenes strain EGD-e) and eight plant pathogens (Alternaria alternata, Alternaria tenuissima, Bipolaris sorokiniana, Stagonospora nodorum, Fusarium solani, Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium culmorum and Phytophtora infestans). To isolate biologically active compounds from seeds, a step-wise procedure including extraction with hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol, and 10% acetic acid followed by reversed-phase HPLC was developed. Using disc-diffusion assay, the highest activity against E. coli O157:H7 was observed with extracts from F. ulmaria (hexane and ethyl acetate extracts and the unbound RP-HPLC fraction) and P. major (ethyl acetate extract and the unbound RP-HPLC fraction);E. elongate (the unbound RP-HPLC fraction) was less active. The extracts from P. major and E. elongate (the unbound RP-HPLC fractions) were equally highly active against L. monocytogenes, while those of F. ulmaria (the unbound RP-HPLC fraction) and n. sativa (hexane and ethyl acetate extracts) were less active against this pathogen. The dynamics of L. monocytogenes EGD-е and E. coli O157:H7 growth in the presence of two most potent extracts (RP-HPLC-unbound fractions of P. major and E. elongate and the hexane extract of F. ulmaria) was studied.

Introduction: Children with surgically repaired esophageal atresia (EA) show esophageal dysmotility. Due to the performance of high-resolution manometry (HRM), three motility alteration patterns have been described, which allowed to know the segmental alterations. Objective: To describe the esophageal motility patterns found through HRM in teenagers with EA and to relate these with the associated esophageal pathology and its severity. Materials and Method: Ten teenagers were included with no history of esophageal blockage or dilations in the last six months, who were orally fed and asymptomatic. Through performance of HRM, we found surgical and endoscopic history, as well as of esophageal biopsies and pH monitoring. Results: We found the following patterns: aperistalsis, pressurization and distal contraction. 70% showed distal contraction, and 100% of esophageal endoscopies and biopsies were normal. 57% of the esophageal pH monitoring analyzed was pathologic. In the pressurization and aperistalsis groups, we observed severe esophagitis and requirement of nissen antireflux procedure in 100% of the cases. Esophageal pH monitoring analyzed was 100% pathologic. Conclusion: We described the esophageal segmental alterations in teenagers with atresia by means of HRM. The distal contraction group showed better development, without severe esophagitis or requirement of antireflux procedure. Therefore, by performing an HRM in teenagers with EA, we could predict the future esophageal behavior, according to the peristaltic pattern, since there are significant differences among the groups in study.

黑山女士(marinaČarnogurská-Ferancová)是斯洛伐克著名汉学家、哲学家、翻译家。她于1940年出生于斯洛伐克布拉迪斯拉发,1969年毕业于捷克斯洛伐克布拉格查理大学哲学系,获得硕士学位,1972年在斯洛伐克布拉迪斯拉发考门斯基大学哲学系完成博士阶段的学习,后长期在斯洛伐克科学院东方研究所从事科研工作。研究领域主要包括中国古代哲学以及中国文学作品翻译与研究。翻译出版了《子曰》a(A riekol Majste,1977)、《道德经》(Lao-c’:Tao TeŤing,1996)、《荀子》(Sün c’:Eseje,2000)、《论语》(*** a výroky,2006)等多部中国经典。历经12年翻译完成了《红楼梦》斯洛伐克语版本(Sen oČervenom pavilóne,2001—2003),并译有老舍《月牙集》(Kosák mesiaca,1983)、话剧《太平湖》(Jazero pokoja,1999)等文学作品。著有《我们所不能回答的哲学问题的中国答案》(Čínske odpovede aj na naše nezodpovedanéfilozofickéotázky,2006)、《老子和〈道德经〉诞生的过程》上下两部(Lao c’a proces vzniku Tao TeŤing,2009,2012)、《故事和历史中的明朝》(Mingovia v príbehoch a v histórii,2017)等多部关于中国哲学、文化、历史的著作。曾获得斯洛伐克文化部奖,斯洛伐克科学院“卢多维特·什图尔”金奖,中国“《红楼梦》翻译贡献奖”,“中华图书特殊贡献奖”等荣誉。2019年10月至2020年6月,笔者赴斯洛伐克考门斯基大学东亚研究系访学,经人引荐得以认识黑山女士并有幸去其家中拜访。在黑山女士充满中国韵味的家中进行了此次访谈,就其学术经历、《红楼梦》的翻译研究及对中国古代哲学的认识展开交流。黑山女士将多部中国哲学典籍以及经典文学作品首次介绍给斯洛伐克读者,并且发表了超过150篇关于中国古代文化的论文,她高度称赞《红楼梦》的文学价值、艺术价值与哲学价值,不同于很多西方学者对中国哲学的看法,她始终认为中国哲学存在系统的体系,能为现代人类社会的种种困境提供思想指导。如今虽已至耄耋之龄,黑山女士仍然坚持翻译与汉学研究工作,几十年如一日致力于中斯文化友好交流。
