Beneﬁcial microbes can improve soil health by promoting soil structure,nutrient cycling,and disease *** addition,a wide array of rhizospheric microbes are responsible for producing metabolically active compounds including various types of plant growth ***,microbial biodiversity studies could contribute to the improvement of agricultural practices in deprived areas,such as the Pampean semiarid *** vast majority of studies conducted on endophytic microorganisms have focused on intensive crop legume *** contrast,little attention has been paid to microorganisms of native legumes,whose ecology is not directly affected by human *** this study,endophytic microorganisms isolated from root nodules of a selected native legume of the genus Rhynchosia were *** isolates were studied with a focus on their plant growth-pro-moting rhizobacteria(PGPR)*** the edaphic characteristics of the Pampean semiarid region,the isolates obtained were evaluated for their ability to grow under three salt stress conditions(50,100,and 200 mM NaCl)and four different pH values(6,7,8,and 9).Based on their PGPR activities,the selected strains were phylogenetically grouped using *** results showed great variability among the isolates in terms of the characteristics *** legumes manifested a wide endophytic variability and remarkable perfor-mance in PGPR *** conclude that they could be used as potential bioinoculants for legume cultivation,an excellent alternative to the use of chemical fertilizers that currently pollute the environment.

The search for functional foods with health benefits has increased,and yogurt represents one of these products due to their properties,such as,source of probiotics that favour the gastrointestinal system,contains vitamins,minerals and improves the action of *** work investigated bromatological,microbiological,sensorial properties and shelf-life of different yogurt goat milk formulations with Aloe vera and natural *** goat yogurt with 99.40%*** pulp and 0.60%*** presented the best nutritional composition,being suitable for human consumption representing an innovative product with a great functional *** synergy between the ingredients used in the yogurt processing resulted in an innovative product to the *** milk has a lower cost per liter in comparison with cow milk,Aloe vera is accessible due to its fast-vegetative propagation,Stevia Rebaudiana has a great popularity for being a natural sweetener with no calories,and all these products are produced in México.

Environmental climate conditions could lead to an increasing global occurrence of microorganism blooms that synthesize toxins in the aquatic *** blooms could result in significantly toxic *** of photosynthetic organisms to adverse environmental conditions implicate reactive oxygen species generation;but,due to the presence of a varied cellular antioxidant defense system and complex signaling networks,this oxidative stress could act as an important factor in the environmental adaptive *** objective of this review was to assess how some biotoxins are implicated in the generation of oxidative and nitrosative metabolic changes,not only in biotoxin-producing organisms but also in non-producing ***,toxins may modify the oxidative cellular balance of several other ***,the effect of toxins on the oxidative and nitrosative conditions will be evaluated in freshwater and marine algae and vascular *** changing climate conditions could act as agents capable of modifying the community composition leading to alterations in the global health of the habitat,risking the survival of many species with ecological relevance.

Degraded water quality from nutrient pollution,physical,biological,and other chemical factors contributes to the development and persistence of many harmful algal blooms(HAB s).The complex dynamics of the HAB s is a challenge to marine ecosystems for the toxic effects *** consequences include fish,bird,and mammal mortality,respiratory or digestive tract problems,memory loss,seizures,lesions and skin irritation in many *** review is intended to briefly summarize the recent reported information on harmful marine toxin deleterious effects over the primary organisms of the food web,namely algae,zooplankton and *** focus is made on oxidative stress status of cells and *** though in situ field research is less controlled than laboratory studies,in which the organisms are directly exposed to the toxins under consideration,both types of approaches are required to fully understand such a complex *** top of that,the contribution of the increasing water temperatures in the sea,as a consequence of the global climate change,will be addressed as a topic for further studies,to evaluate the effect on regulating algal growth,species composition,trophic structure,metabolic stress and function of aquatic ecosystems.

The purpose of this review is to briefly summarize the central role of iron(Fe)in terms of cellular alterations of the oxidative/protective balance with special emphasis on its possible involvement in ferroptosis-dependent disruption in aquatic *** ferroptotic cells or tissues,the intracellular Fe level increases;meanwhile the treatment with Fe chelators limits *** algae can assimilate Fe from the environment through several mechanisms,and aquatic animals incorporate dissolved Fe and Fe bound to both inorganic particles and organic *** central role of lipid peroxidation mediating ferroptosis was demonstrated in some algae where both low and high Fe concentrations could induce oxidative stress and programmed cell *** animals have high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids and numerous studies have analyzed Fe effects on the lipidic fraction which could be related to *** ferroptosis reaction can be regulated through the antioxidant defense system,in combination with the protein degradation structure,metabolism,and gene *** depletion of nonenzymatic antioxidants like reduced glutathione(GSH)in animals,and the reduction of both GSH and ascorbate in photosynthetic organisms,are characteristic features of ***,ferroptosis can be prevented if Fe chelators,certain antioxidants,and specifically regulating genes are ***,the global scenario for the Fe role as a toxic component in biological systems seems to be even more complicated than it was previously *** more research on this subject is needed to improve the life span and survival of aquatic organisms after exposure to natural and anthropogenic adverse conditions.

Numerous tribological applications,wherein the use of liquid lubricants is infeasible,require adequate dry *** the use of polymers as an effective solution for dry sliding tribological applications,their poor wear resistance prevents the utilization in harsh industrial *** methods are typically implemented to tackle the poor wear performance of polymers,however sacrificing some of their mechanical/tribological ***,we discussed the introduction of a novel additive,namely microencapsulated phase change material(MPCM)into an advanced polymeric ***,paraffin was encapsulated into melamine-based resin,and the capsules were dispersed in an aromatic thermosetting co-polyester(ATSP)*** found that the MPCM-filled composite exhibited a unique tribological behavior,manifested as“zero wear”,and a super-low coefficient of friction(COF)of *** developed composite outperformed the state-of-the-art polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)-filled coatings,under the experimental conditions examined herein.

The harmful effects of the reactive species may be due to the increase in their steady state concentration either by the enhancement of their production rates and/or the decrease of their consumption rate by antioxidant *** ascorbyl radical(A^(·))can be considered as a final product of radical oxidative transformations of ascorbate(AH^(-)).The ratio A^(·)content/AH^(-)content(A^(·)/AH^(-))has been widely used as an interesting tool to estimate mild to moderate oxidative transformations,providing a quick and simple method of diagnosis of stress in the hydrophilic cellular *** aim of this work was to summarize studies on the cellular oxidative condition in algae and invertebrates by assessing the A^(·)/AH^(-)ratio under environmentally changing *** use of indices of oxidative stress increasingly sensitive and,somewhat more specific,can bring a new light to the still unknown world of oxidative responses in marine organisms.

Botulism is a severe neuroparalytic disease caused by Clostridium botulinums *** the disease is uncommon,causes great concern due to its high rate of mortality;foodbome outbreaks of botulism occur worldwide and require immediate public health and acute care *** study had a review of outstanding outbreaks published;Journals articles related to the *** the outbreaks analysis we found the most involved food products were;fermented fish products in Alaska;home canning food,oil preservation and restaurant sauce in London and USA;home canned vegetables,food airtight packed with inappropriate refrigeration and aerosols in *** conclusion,the diagnosis is based only on clinical findings matching the disease and previous exposure to suspicious *** must be immediately identified as one case suggests an epidemic and should be treated as a public health *** the purpose of the following review is to recognize the associated risks with the consumption of potentially dangerous foods,to help work our way on prevention for every public health professional to be aware of the dangers of this potentially lethal disease.
