For the first time,the mechanism of metal aluminum dissolution in NaF-ScF_(3) eutectic melts and the chemical interaction between the constituents of this mixture have been thoroughly studied by a combination of differential thermal analysis(DTA),high temperature and solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),and X-ray diffraction(XRD) coupled with the molecular dynamic *** formation of an insoluble Al_(3)Sc alloy in molten(NaF-ScF_(3))_(eut)system was proven,and the chemical mechanism of this aluminothermic Al_(3)Sc alloy production was *** ex situ examinations bring to light the formation of NaScF_4 and solid solution of Na_(3)(Al,Sc)F_(6) in cooled *** molecular dynamics calculations of the bath allow us to construct the structural model and to predict viscosity,density and electrical conductivity of the reagent melt to help to optimize the conditions of the alloy synthesis.

The rapid development of emerging technologies,such as edge intelligence and digital twins,have added momentum towards the development of the Industrial Internet of Things(IIo T).However,the massive amount of data generated by the IIo T,coupled with heterogeneous computation capacity across IIo T devices,and users’data privacy concerns,have posed challenges towards achieving industrial edge intelligence(IEI).To achieve IEI,in this paper,we propose a semi-federated learning framework where a portion of the data with higher privacy is kept locally and a portion of the less private data can be potentially uploaded to the edge *** addition,we leverage digital twins to overcome the problem of computation capacity heterogeneity of IIo T devices through the mapping of physical *** formulate a synchronization latency minimization problem which jointly optimizes edge association and the proportion of uploaded nonprivate *** the joint problem is NP-hard and combinatorial and taking into account the reality of largescale device training,we develop a multi-agent hybrid action deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm to find the optimal *** results show that our proposed DRL algorithm can reduce latency and have a better convergence performance for semi-federated learning compared to benchmark algorithms.

PLANTS,POLLINATORS,AND BIODIvERSITY:THESTATUSQUO Plant-pollinator coevolution has played a crucial role in shaping the biodiversity of ecosystems that we know ***,plants and pollinators are key to agriculture,contributing to the production of most fruits and vegetables necessary for healthy human ***,over the last decades,there is mounting evidence of pollinator decline all over the world,which constitutes a major threat to food security(European Commission,2020).To pollinators,nectar and pollen are the main rewards:pollen is essentially their only source of proteins,lipids,and vitamins,while nectar is a carbohydrate-rich solution that they use to fuel somatic functions(Ollerton,2021).However,nectar is much more than just a sweet solution:it comprises a plethora of secondary metabolites and volatiles of major importance for plant-pollinator ***,by neglecting these traits and reducing genetic diversity,plant breeding has potentially increased the risk of losing the traits beneficial to pollinators.

This review examines the intersection of the HIv and SARS-Cov-2 *** with HIv(PWH)are a heterogeneous group that differ in their degree of immune suppression,immune reconstitution,and viral *** COvID-19 in those with wellcontrolled HIv infection poses no greater risk than that for HIv-uninfected individuals,people with advanced HIv disease are more vulnerable to poor COvID-19 ***-19 vaccines are effective and well tolerated in the majority of PWH,though reduced vaccine efficacy,breakthrough infections and faster waning of vaccine effectiveness have been demonstrated in *** is likely a result of suboptimal humoral and cellular immune responses after *** with advanced HIv may also experience prolonged infection that may give rise to new epidemiologically significant variants,but initiation or resumption of antiretroviral therapy(ART)can effectively clear persistent ***-19 vaccine guidelines reflect these increased risks and recommend prioritization for vaccination and additional booster doses for PWH who are moderately to severely *** recommend continued research and monitoring of PWH with SARS-Cov-2 infection,especially in areas with a high HIv burden.

Sub-Saharan Africa is witnessing a proliferation of photovoltaic (Pv) waste due to the increasing number of solar Pv power plants. Pv waste (panels, batteries, electrical cables, mounting structures, and inverters) consists of elements such as mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead, copper, aluminum, fluorinated compounds, and plastics that are toxic to human health and the environment if a proper management system is not available. Although many studies worldwide have focused on Pv waste management, very few have been conducted in sub-Saharan Africa. This study aims to investigate the current Pv waste management system in Burkina Faso, determine stakeholder profiles, and propose strategies to enhance the existing system. Documentary research, interviews, questionnaires, and field visits were used in the methodology. The survey showed that young people, mainly under 30 years of age and with a primary education, dominate (70%) in terms of Pv waste collection and repair activities, while the more technical recycling and export activities are carried out mainly (88%) by stakeholders older than 40 years and with a secondary education (60%). Among the older stakeholders, 100% are aware of the hazardous nature of Pv waste, whereas 36% are young people. From an environmental perspective, the main source of contamination observed is the release of lead-rich sulfuric acids into water and soil during the collection and repair phases. During the recycling of batteries and electrical cables, toxic fumes are emitted into the air, and recycling residues rich in toxic substances are landfilled. To reduce risks to human health and the environment when managing Pv waste, the introduction of legislation, the multiplication of collection points and appropriate infrastructures, the training and awareness-raising of stakeholders, and the extended responsibility of manufacturers are recommended. Recent advances in cell and molecular radiobiology clearly showed that tissue response to radiation injury cannot be restricted to a simple cell-killing process, but depends upon continuous and integrated pathogenic processes, involving cell differentiation and crosstalk between the various cellular components of the tissue within the extracellular matrix. Thus, the prior concept of primary cell target in which a single-cell type （whatever it＇s epithelial or endothelial cells） dictates the whole tissue response to radiation injury has to be replaced by the occurrence of coordinated multicellular response that may either lead to tissue recovery or to sequel development. In this context, the present review will focus on the maintenance of the radiation-induced wound healing and fibrogenic signals triggered by and through the microenvironment toward the mesenchymal cell compartment, and will highlight how sequential and sustained modifications in cell phenotypes will in cascade modify ceU-to-ceU interactions and tissue composition.

AIM： To investigate their expression and activity in the rat ileum after exposure to ionizing radiation along with that of the cellular effectors and molecular mediators involved in the regulation of MMPs. METHODS： Rats were exposed to a single 10-Gy dose of X-rays delivered to the abdomen. A combination of methods, such as zymography, immunohistochemistry and real time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction, were used to localize and quantify MMPs and the molecules involved in MMP activating and inhibitory pathways （plasmin/ plasminogen, TIMPs）, CD^8＋, as well as inflammatory （interleukin （IL）-1β, IL-8, tumor necrosis factor-s, TNF-α） and fibrogenic mediators （transforming growth factor- β1-3） within ileal tissue at 1, 3, and 7 d after irradiation. RESULTS： A marked increase in MMP-2 and -14 mRNA and protein levels associated with an increased activity of MMP-2 was observed in irradiated ileal tissue. MMP-2 and -14 expression was mainly observed in inflammatory, epithelial, and mesenchymal cells, whereas a slight increase in MMP-3 expression was detected in the few infiltrating macrophages at d i after irradiation. Conversely, MMP-1, -7, and -9 mRNA levels were not found to be affected by abdominal irradiation. Irradiation was found to induce disappearance of CD^8＋ cells. Furthermore, we have observed that TNF-α and IL-1β protein levels increased 6 h after irradiation, whereas those of IL-8 only increased after 3 d and was concomitant with neutrophil infiltration. In addition, the expressions of molecules involved in MMP activating and inhibitory pathways （urokinase-type plasminogen activator andtissue-type plasminogen activator; TIMP-1, TIMP-2, and plasminogen activator-inhibitor-i） were found to be increased after abdominal irradiation. CONCLUSION： This study showed that abdominal irradiation induces an acute remodeling of the ileum associated with an increased expression of MMPs and TIMPs that do not involve CD^8＋ T cells but involve mesenchymal and epi
