This paper addresses an optimal design of low-voltage(LV)distribution network for rural electrification considering photovoltaic(PV)and battery energy storage(BES).It aims at searching for an optimal topology of an LV distribution system as well as the siting and sizing of PV and storage over a time horizon of 30 ***,the shortest-path algorithm(SPA)and first-fit bin-packing algorithm(FFBPA)are used to search for the optimal radial topology that minimizes the total length of the distribution line and improves the load ***,the optimal siting of decentralized BES(DeBES)is determined using a genetic algorithm(GA)to eliminate the undervoltage constraints due to the load *** iterative techniques are elaborated to size the maximum peak power of PV and the minimum number of DeBES that can be connected to an LV network without violating the voltage and current ***,the sizing strategy of centralized BES(CeBES)is developed to avoid reverse power flows into the medium-voltage(MV)***,a Monte Carlo approach is used to study the impact of load profile uncertainties on the topology.A non-electrified village in Cambodia has been chosen as a case study.

We consider the Hamiltonian ofα,β-Fermi Pasta Ulam lattice and explore the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism to obtain the discrete equation of *** using the continuum limit approximations and incorporating some normalized parameters,the extended Korteweg-de Vries equation is obtained,with solutions that elucidate on the Fermi Pasta Ulam *** further derive the nonlinear Schrodinger amplitude equation from the extended Korteweg-de Vries equation,by exploring the reductive perturbative *** dispersion and nonlinear coefficients of this amplitude equation are functions of theαandβparameters,with theβparameter playing a crucial role in the modulational instability analysis of the ***βgreater than or equal to zero,no modulational instability is observed and only dark solitons are identified in the *** forβless than zero,bright solitons are traced in the lattice for some large values of the *** of numerical simulations of both the Korteweg-de Vries and nonlinear Schr¨odinger amplitude equations with periodic boundary conditions clearly show that the bright solitons conserve their amplitude and shape after collisions.

Plantain banana is an important cash crop that serves as stable food for millions of people around the world and contributes to income generation. Indeed, they provide a major staple food crop for millions of people and play an important role in the social fabric of many rural communities. Plantain banana cultivation encounters major problem of seedlings unavailability that are essential for the creation of new plantations, as well as parasitic constraints. Mycosphaerella fijiensis is the main pathogen attack constraints of banana plant responsible of black Sigatoka disease, and viruses, which can severely reduce the photosynthetic leaf area, leading to banana production losses of more than 80% in plantations with soil fertility problems. The repeated use of synthetic input is the origin of contamination to the environment, different pollution sources of plants and human health, as well as resistance to some strains of pathogens and plant fertilization problems over time. Recent works carried out in nursery have shown that vivoplants of plantains treated with biostimulants based on natural products notably Tithonia diversifolia biopromote good growth and less susceptibility to M. fijiensis. Indeed, an increase in agromorphological characteristics, good accumulation of growth and defense biomarkers was also observed. In this context, Tithonia diversifolia is shown to be involved in the stimulatory effect mechanism of growth promotion and defensive reaction of plantain vivoplants against various pathogens and it is suggested to be acting as a vital stimulator. This article reviews the current state of knowledge on plantain banana cultivation constraints and on the potential of Tithonia diversifolia in relation with its different stimulatory effects on plantain vivoplants.

Fruit and leaf shoot of litchi （Litchi chinensis） infestation by naturally occurring populations of the fruit bprer, Conopomorpha sinensis larvae and C. sinensis parasitization rates were determined in litchi orchards in northern Thailand at high （ca. 1 400 m ASL） and low （ca. 800 m ASL） elevations with different, non-overlapping fruiting seasons. In addition, spray applications of Bacillus thuringiensis var. aizawai, the natural compound spinosad and the chemical pesticide imidacloprid were conducted in the field to test the effects of these agents on C. sinensis fruit infestation rate. Fruit infestation rate and fruit growth, studied in a low elevation orchard, were sigmoidal and showed a highly significant positive correlation （P ≤ 0.01）. Leaf shoot infestation rate in the low elevation orchard decreased in the course of the fruiting season （March until May）, but increased in the high elevation orchard, where no fruits were present within the same period of time. Together, these results indicate that females of C. sinensis clearly prefer fruits over shoots for oviposition. If no fruits are available, which was the case in the high elevation orchard during that time, they are constrained to lay their eggs on shoots. The parasitization rate of C. sinensis larvae in untreated fruits was 54.3%. The parasitoid species were Chelonus chailini （90.8%） and Phanerotoma sp. （9.2%）. In the leaf shoots, C. sinensis was found to be parasitized by Phanerotoma sp. and Apanteles briareus. The applications of the different active agents had no significant effect on C. sinensis fruit infestation compared to the untreated control. Besides the cryptic life of the larvae, this is most probably explained by the fact that C. sinensis has several generations during the fruiting season. Because of the high parasitization rates recorded, an alternative and more effective control measure than the application of pesticides might be the augmentative release of parasitoids.

Psychiatric morbidity after surgery for inflammatory bowel disease:A systematic review

AIM To examine the evidence about psychiatric morbidity after inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)-related surgery. METHODS PRISMA guidelines were followed and a protocol was published at PROSPERO(CRD42016037600). Inclusion criteria were studies describing patients with inflammatory bowel disease undergoing surgery and their risk of developing psychiatric disorder. RESULTS Twelve studies(including 4340 patients) were eligible. All studies were non-randomized and most had high risk of bias. Patients operated for inflammatory bowel disease had an increased risk of developing depression,compared with surgical patients with diverticulitis or inguinal hernia,but not cancer. In addition,patients with Crohn's disease had higher risk of depression after surgery compared with non-surgical patients. Patients with ulcerative colitis had higher risk of anxiety after surgery compared with surgical colorectal cancer patients. Charlson comorbidity score more than three and female gender were independent predictors for depression and anxiety following surgery. CONCLUSION The review cannot give any clear answer to the risks of psychiatric morbidity after surgery for IBD studies with the lowest risk of bias indicated an increased risk of depression among surgical patients with Crohn's disease and increased risk of anxiety among patients with ulcerative colitis.

Background Our overall goal is to improve clinical care for inpatients with chronic heart failure(CHF).A retrospective assessment of CHF patients admitted to our hospital over the past decade(2005 vs.2014)indicated a need for better strategies to evaluate clinical treatment,implement best practices and achieve optimal patient *** that purpose,we developed a standardized plan to improve in-hospital treatment of acute decompensated CHF ***&Results Retrospective chart reviews were conducted to compare three cohorts of CHF patients admitted to the University Hospital of Lund at different time points over a 12-year period:2005(365 patients),2014(172 patients)and 2017-2018(57 patients).Little improvement was seen between 2005 and 2014 with respect to one-year mortality(35%vs.34%)and adequate treatment with recommended medications,e.g.,use of renin-angiotensin system blockers(45%vs.51%).A standardized treatment plan was devised to improve outcomes.A third cohort,treated under the plan(2017-2018),was compared with the 2014 ***-year mortality(18%vs.34%)and 30-day readmission(5%vs.30%)were dramatically decreased,and adherence to medication guidelines was *** elements of the plan included well-defined treatment procedures,enhanced communication and teamwork,education,adequate time for treatment(5 days)and post-discharge follow-up as *** peptide(NT-proBNP)levels were useful for assessing patient status,prognosis and response to *** Developmeof a standard plan for clinical management of acute decompensated CHF patients resulted in significant improvements in patient outcome,as reflected in decreased rates of 30-day readmission and one-year mortality.

Advances in the oncology field have led to improved survival ***,quality of life after remission is anticipated,which includes the possibility to conceive *** cancer treatments are potentially gonadotoxic,fertility preservation must be *** fertility preservation is mainly based on ejaculated sperm *** this is not possible,testicular sperm extraction(TESE)may be *** identify situations in which TESE has been beneficial,a systematic review was *** search was carried out on the PubMed,Scopus,Google Scholar,and CISMeF databases from 1 January 2000 to 19 March *** Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)recommendations were followed in selecting items of ***-four articles were included in the systematic review,including 15 articles on oncological testicular sperm extraction(oncoTESE),18 articles on postgonadotoxic treatment TESE and 1 article on both oncoTESE and postgonadotoxic treatment *** sperm freezing was possible for 42.9%to 57.7%of patients before gonadotoxic treatment and for 32.4%to 75.5%of patients after gonadotoxic treatment,depending on the type of malignant *** no formal conclusion could be drawn about the chances to obtain sperm in specific situations,our results suggest that TESE can be proposed before and after gonadotoxic *** treatment,TESE is more often proposed for men with testicular cancer presenting with azoospermia since TESE can be performed simultaneously with tumor removal or *** chemotherapy,TESE may be planned if the patient presents with persistent azoospermia.

Background Chronic congestive heart failure is a complex condition that leads to dysfunction in the peripheral microcirculation. We have previously shown that vascular reactivity is reduced with increasing age. In this study, we examined a group of very old patients with severe chronic heart failure to test the hypothesis that vascular function is further compromised by a combination of heart failure and aging. Methods Cutaneous forearm blood flow was measured by laser Doppler flowmetry and compared among three groups： Group 1 （n = 20, mean ±SE： 85.5 ±4 years）, heart failure patients with New York Heart Association class Ⅳ （NYHA Ⅳ） and with a NT-proBNP level ≥5000 ng/L; Group 2 （n = 15, mean ±SE： 76.5 ±2 years）, heart failure patients with NYHA II and NT-proBNP ≤2000 ng/L, and Group 3 （n = 10, mean ±SE： 67.6 ±3.0 years）, healthy controls with no clinical signs of heart failure. The vasodilator response to the iontophoretic administration of acetylcholine （ACh）, acting via an endothelial mechanism, and sodium nitroprusside （SNP）, acting via a smooth muscle cell mechanism, were studied. Results All patients with heart failure had significantly reduced vascular reactivity independent of the mode of stimulation （ACh, SNP or heat） when compared to healthy controls. However, the responses did not differ between the two groups of heart failure patients. Conclusions Cutaneous vascular reactivity is reduced in heart failure patients and does not correlate with the severity of the condition or age of patients.
