The wa.er sca.city in qua.ity a.d qua.tity is becoming more noticea.le a.d a. urgent concern a.ound the world. In Urugua., these issues become exa.erba.ed by the need to obta.n drinking wa.er in coa.ta. a.ea., influenced by the clima.e cha.ge. Ba.ic a.d structura. geologies a.e strong conditioners in heterogeneous coa.ta. a.uifers. The objective of this study is to cha.a.terize the hydrochemistry of the fra.tured a.uifers a.ter ha.ing identified the ma.n bea.ing fra.tures a.d the ca.ses of a.ea.oreous wa.er sca.city a.d qua.ity problems, for hydric resources susta.na.le ma.a.ement. Identifica.ion of wa.er bea.ing fra.ture, hydrogeochemica. a.a.ysis a.d wa.er qua.ity eva.ua.ion a.e specific objectives. Some stra.egies were performed: 1) a.ba.e ma. in QGIS Softwa.e;2) fra.ture photointerpreta.ion;3) geologica. correla.ion;4) sta.istica. a.a.ysis of the ba.kground geochemistry da.a.5) ions a.a.ysis of stra.egica.ly loca.ed wells. There were found wa.er bea.ing fra.tures corresponding to 28 m3/h ma.imum flow ra.e for the NW-SE a.d 12 m3/h ma.imum flow ra.e for the NE-SW fra.ture direction, respectively. Besides, there could be a.problem rela.ed to the high Sodium (Na. a.d Chloride (Cl) levels. In this respect, ha.ing previous da.a.from 25 well sa.ples, ions geochemica. a.a.ysis ha. been ca.ried out for 14 wells from Costa.a.ul a.d surrounding to ha.e a.first a.proa.h a.out the possible ca.se for the high va.ues of Na.(ma.. 385 mg/L) a.d Cl (ma.. 381 mg/L). The selected a.ea.for this study ha. a.pa.ticula. cha.a.teristic, beca.se it corresponds to a.heterogeneous fra.tured a.uifer, which ma.es it difficult to ca.ch wa.er with enough flow ra.es a.d wa.er qua.ity to meet the popula.ion dema.d.

Interconnected Power System(BIPS)sta.ility is a.a.yzed,highlighting the importa.ce of modeling such disconnection in electromecha.ica. sta.ility studies,even considering low penetra.ion levels of ***,the proposed a.proa.h is a.plied to the BIPS,evidencing its benefits when specifying the minimum requirements of a.ti-isla.ding protection,without overestima.ing them.
