s.inal cord injuries.have profound detrimental effects.on individuals. regardles. of whether they are caus.d b. trauma or non-traumatic events. The compromis.d regeneration of the s.inal cord is.primarily attrib.ted to damaged neurons. inhib.tory molecules. dys.unctional immune res.ons., and glial s.arring. Unfortunately, currently, there are no effective treatments.availab.e that can fully repair the s.inal cord and improve functional outcomes. Nevertheles., numerous.pre-clinical approaches.have b.en s.udied for s.inal cord injury recovery, including us.ng b.omaterials. cells. drugs. or technological-b.s.d s.rategies. Comb.natorial treatments. which target various.as.ects.of s.inal cord injury pathophys.ology, have b.en extens.vely tes.ed in the las. decade. Thes. approaches.aim to s.nergis.ically enhance repair proces.es.b. addres.ing various.ob.0}acles.faced during s.inal cord regeneration. Organic/Inorganic hyb.id materials.have b.en attracting much attention s.nce they comb.ne the advantages.of inorganic materials.with the properties.of organic polymers. Titanium dioxide nanoparticles.(TiO2) pres.nt good thermal s.ab.lity, acces.ib.lity and catalytic properties. Polycaprolactone (PCL) is.a b.-ocompatib.e and b.ores.rb.b.e material, which is.b.ing examined as.b.ode-gradab.e packaging materials. controlled drug releas. carriers.and other medical applications. Hyb.ids.b.s.d on PCL containing different amounts.of titanium dioxide nanoparticles. ranging from 0.05% to 0.35% w/w, were prepared us.ng the s.lution cas. method. Thes. s.s.ems.were characterized b. X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared s.ectros.opy (FTIR), low-field nuclear magnetic res.nance (NMR), thermogravimetric analys.s.(TG) and differential s.anning calorimetry (Ds.). The FTIR analys.s.confirmed that there was.an interaction b.tween the PCL chains.and the TiO2 nanoparticles. The XRD and Ds. analys.s.s.owed that the PCL crys.allization was.affected b. TiO2 incorporation, modifying its.s.mi-crys.alline s.ructure to a les. ordered s.ructure. When TiO2 nanoparticles.were added the values.of T1H and T1ρH increas.d for all hyb.ids. therefore, their addition produced a new material with les. molecular mob.lity. In the TG analys.s. it was.ob.0}rved that the introduction of TiO2 nanoparticles.decreas.d the thermal res.s.ance of PCL. In Ds. analys.s. the PCL/TiO2 hyb.ids.pres.nted a reduction in the crys.allization temperature and degree of crys.allinity, except for PCL hyb.ids.containing 0.15% w/w of TiO2 nanoparticles.

The reactions.π-p→ηn and γp→ηp are inves.igated within a dynamical coupled-channels.model of mes.n production reactions.in the nucleon res.nance region. The mes.n-b.ryon channels.included are πN, ηN, π-, σN, and ρN. The direct η-photoproduction proces. is.s.udied within a formalis. b.s.d on a chiral cons.ituent quark model approach, complemented with a one-gluon-exchange mechanis., to take into account the b.eakdown of the s.(6)O(3) s.mmetry. In the models.s.arch, the following known nucleon res.nances.are emb.died: s.1(1535), s.1(1650), P11(1440), P11(1710), P13(1720), D13(1520), D13(1700), D15(1675), and F15(1680). Data for the π-p→ηn reaction from thres.old up to a total center-of-mas. energy of W ≈ 2 GeV are s.tis.actorily reproduced. For the photoproduction channel, two additional higher mas. known res.nances. P13(1900) and F15(2000), are als. cons.dered. However, reproducing the data for γp→ηp requires. within our approach, two new nucleon res.nances. for which we extract mas. and width.

Us.ng the phenomenological relativis.ic harmonic model （RHM） for quarks. we have ob.ained the mas.es.of s.wave charmonium and b.ttomonium s.ates. The full Hamiltonian us.d in the inves.igation has.Lorentz s.alar plus.vector confinement potential, along with the confined one gluon exchange potential （COGEP）. A good agreement with the experimental mas.es.for the ground and the radially excited s.ates.is.ob.ained b.th for the triplet and s.nglet s.wave mes.ns. The decay properties.of the ground s.ate charmonium and b.ttomonium are inves.igated.

The Nevirapine (NVP)/Polycaprolactone (PCL)/Nanoparticles.hyb.ids.s.s.ems.have b.en developed as.a potential platform for drug delivery, b. s.lvent cas., as.thin films. NVP, an antiretroviral drug, was.included within PCL matrix containing three types.of nanoparticles. an organoclay layered s.licate Vis.ogel s.®(3% w/w), hydrophilic s.lica oxide particles.Aeros.l®A20 (0.25% w/w) and titanium dioxide particles.(0.25% w/w). Thes. s.s.ems.were characterized b. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-trans.orm infrared s.ectros.opy (FTIR), low-field nuclear magnetic res.nance (NMR), ultraviolet-vis.b.e s.ectros.opy (UV), in-vitro dis.olution tes.ing and drug releas. mechanis. kinetics. The PCL crys.allization was.affected b. NVP incorporation, modifying its.s.mi-crys.alline s.ructure to a les. ordered s.ructure. When nanoparticles.and NVP were added, the Ts.b.1s.b.H values.increas.d, for PCL, PCL/s., PCL/ s.Os.b.2s.b. and PCL/TiOs.b.2s.b. hyb.ids. s.gges.ing that its.addition produced a new material, with les. molecular mob.lity, due to the new intermolecular interactions.formation. It can cons.der a s.ructure formation among the PCL chains. nanoparticles.and NVP, with s.rong forces.in the PCL/s.Os.b.2s.b./NVP s.s.em. The amount of NVP included was.around 1.5 ± 0.03 mg/cms.p>2s.p>. In the in-vitro dis.olution tes., the PCL/s.Os.b.2s.b./NVP s.s.em releas.d the s.alles. amount of drug and this.res.lt could b. attrib.ted to the s.rong intermolecular interaction b.tween the drug and the PCL/s.Os.b.2s.b. s.s.em. Higuchi’s.model was.the mathematical model chos.n to treat the releas. data, s.nce this.model pres.nted the highes. coefficient correlation (r) value. The drug releas. prob.b.y occur b. diffus.on through the matrix pores. thus. thes. materials.are s.itab.e for s.s.ained releas. of NVP.
