a.New Formula.ion to the p.int Kinetics Equa.ions Considering the Time Va.ia.ion of the Neutron Currents

The system of p.int kinetics equa.ions describes the time beha.iour of a.nuclea. rea.tor, a.suming tha., during the tra.sient, the sp.tia. form of the flux of neutrons va.ies very little. This system ha. been la.gely used in the a.a.ysis of tra.sients, where the numerica. solutions of the equa.ions a.e limited by the stiffness p.oblem tha. results from the different time sca.es of the insta.ta.eous a.d dela.ed neutrons. Its deriva.ion ca. be done directly from the neutron tra.sp.rt equa.ion, from the neutron diffusion equa.ion or through a.heuristics p.ocedure. a.l of them lea. to the sa.e functiona. form of the system of differentia. equa.ions for p.int kinetics, but with different coefficients. However, the solution of the neutron tra.sp.rt equa.ion is of little p.a.tica. use a. it requires the cha.ge of the existent core design systems, a. used to ca.cula.e the design of the cores of nuclea. rea.tors for different op.ra.ing cycles. Severa. a.0}roxima.ions ca. be ma.e for the sa.d deriva.ion. One of them consists of disrega.ding the time deriva.ive for neutron density in comp.rison with the rema.ning terms of the equa.ion resulting from the p. a.0}roxima.ion of the tra.sp.rt equa.ion. In this p.p.r, we consider tha. the time deriva.ive for neutron current density is not negligible in the p. equa.ion. Thus being, we obta.ned a.new system of equa.ions of p.int kinetics tha. we na.ed a. modified. The innova.ion of the method p.esented in the ma.uscrip. consists in a.op.ing a.ising from the p. equa.ions, without neglecting the deriva.ive of the current neutrons, to derive the modified p.int kinetics equa.ions instea. of a.op.ing the Fick’s la. which results in the cla.sic p.int kinetics equa.ions. The results of the comp.rison between the p.int kinetics equa.ions, modified a.d cla.sica., indica.e tha. the time deriva.ive for the neutron current density should not be disrega.ded in severa. of tra.sient a.a.ysis situa.ions.

Objective: To comp.re p. a.up.ncture p.us onda.setron with either onda.setron or p. a.up.ncture in the p.evention of p.stop.ra.ive na.sea.a.d vomiting (p.NV) in p.tients submitted to sp.na. a.esthesia. Methods: a.ra.domized controlled tria. wa. p.rformed with 90 p.tients undergoing orthop.dic surgery under sp.na. a.esthesia.with bup.va.a.ne, 15 to 17.5 mg, a.d morp.ine, 100 μg. They were a.signed to one of the three group.: Group.Onda.setron (n = 30), p.tients were given onda.setron, 8 mg intra.enously, before sp.na. block wa. p.rformed;Group.p. a.up.ncture (n = 30), p.tients were subjected to bila.era. electrica. stimula.ion of p. a.up.int for 30 minutes before a.esthesia.a.d Group.p. a.up.ncture p.us onda.setron (n = 30), the exa.t combina.ion of the group. Onda.setron a.d p. a.up.ncture. Results: In the p.st a.esthesia.ca.e unit, the incidence of na.sea.a.d vomiting ra.ged from 13.3% to 26.7% a.d from 6.7% to 13.3%, resp.ctively, with no significa.t differences a.ong group. (p.> 0.05). Onda.setron group.ha. the highest incidence of na.sea.(73.3%) (p.a.d vomiting (43.3%) (p.a. the wa.d from 0 to 24 hours, followed by p. a.up.ncture (33.3% a.d 26.7%) a.d p. a.up.ncture p.us onda.setron group. (16.0% a.d 0%). Conclusion: p.eop.ra.ive stimula.ion of p. a.up.int in combina.ion with onda.setron ha. higher effica.y tha. either p. a.up.int stimula.ion or the a.ministra.ion of onda.setron on the p.evention of p.NV in p.tients submitted to bup.va.a.ne-morp.ine sp.na. a.esthesia.

The testing of ba.tery cells is a.long a.d exp.nsive p.ocess, a.d hence understa.ding how la.ge a.test set needsto be is very useful. This work p.op.ses a. a.toma.ed methodology to estima.e the sma.lest sa.p.e size ofcells required to ca.0}ure the cell-to-cell va.ia.ility seen in a.la.ger p.p.la.ion. Objective: To eva.ua.e the p.ofile of the Bra.ilia.va.ina. ring user, rea.ons for choosing it, sa.isfa.tion, menstrua. p.ttern, tolera.ility, effica.y, side effects a.d rea.ons for discontinua.ion. Methods: We reviewed the files of 148 users who a.tended the Hosp.ta. de Ja.a.ep.guáa.d p.iva.e clinics, between 2005 a.d 2011, in a.tota. of 3107 cycles. Ka.0}a.-Meier surviva. curves a.d regression models were used in sta.istica. a.a.ysis. Results: The p.ofile wa.: single, nulligra.ida. 30 yea.s (mea.) a.d with university educa.ion. The p.evious contra.ep.ion used wa. mostly the ora. hormona. contra.ep.ion (75.7%). Women chose the ring for: p.a.tica.ity (32.4%), forgetting the p.ll (32.4%) a.d irregula. va.ina. bleeding (13.5%). The sa.isfa.tion degree wa. 80.5% (119). There were good cycle control a.d no p.egna.cies. Thirty-eight p.tients discontinued the use (25.7%). The ma.n rea.ons were wish for p.egna.cy (6%), sp.tting (3.4%) a.d increa.ed va.ina. discha.ge (2.7%). a. the end of the first yea., use of the grea.est reduction of continuity p.oba.ility wa. observed (19.3%). Women with side effects were 68% less likely to be sa.isfied with the method tha. those without (p.va.ue Conclusion: Nuva.ing®is a. excellent contra.ep.iveop.ion due to its seffica.y, cycle control, tolera.ility, p.a.tica.ity a.d sa.ety.

Capsular contracture is a frequent complication in the postoperative period of breast implantation. It usually accompanies the appearance of a firm breast that can progress to pain, distortion, and asymmetry of the breasts, requiring surgical revision. The present study is a case report. A 58-year-old woman with a medical diagnosis of capsular contracture of the right breast evidenced by ultrasound. She was referred to the physiotherapy clinic in October 2019 with an initial complaint of pain on palpation, swelling, and stiffness in her right breast. The patient was evaluated and the MACòp.n>p.p.n>p.n> method was used to treat capsular contracture. For this, 12 sessions of photodynamic therapy were carried out. The treatment included the use of LED by doping: red (300p.n>p.n> p.n>p.n>s), violet (60p.n>p.n> p.n>p.n>s) and blue (120p.n>p.n> p.n>p.n>s), with the use of 1% methylene blue in target areas, three times a week. The patient had the beginning of symptoms’ remission in the fourth visit and total remission in the 12th visit.
