Olefin Polymerization Behavior of Titanium(Iv) Complexes with Fluorinated and Non-fluorinated Aliphatic Phenoxyimine Ligands

A series of Ti(Ⅳ) dichloride and dialkoxide com plexes with phenoxyimine ligands containing fluorinated and nonfluorinated aliphatic imine fragments have been *** molecular structures of complexes 1 and 4 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction *** complexes adopt a distorted octahedral coordination structure around the titanium atom and two oxygen atoms are situated in trans position while two nitrogen atoms and two outgoing ligands(Cl or iPrO) are situated in cis *** of activators(mmAO-12 and combinations Et_nAICl_(3-n)+Bu_(2)mg) and outgoing ligand(Cl or iPrO) nature on the catalytic activity and properties of the resulting polymers was *** Ti complexes,despite the nature of the outgoing ligands(Cl or iPrO) in the presence of Al/mg activators,was found to display a high ethylene polymerization activity in the range 1600-3830 kg_(polymer)·mol_(Ti)^(-1)·h^(-1)·atm^(-1) with a viscosity average molecular weight(m_v) value in the range 1.1×10~6-7.1×10~6 Dalton(Da).The resulting UHmWPE can be processed by a solventless method into high-strength and high-modulus oriented *** rheological characteristics of a polymer melt have been *** absence of a cross-over point did not allow to compare the values of the molecular weight distribution of polymers obtained on fluorinated and non-fluorinated pre-catalysts,however,the estimation of the entanglement density is in good agreement with the mechanical characteristics of oriented film *** activation with methylalumoxane,the activity of the com plexes decreased very significantly;however,a polymer with a molecular weight of about 12 million Da was *** the process of ethylene/octene-1 copolymerization,fluorine-containing precatalysts showed a clear advantage over non-fluorinated analogues both in activity and in comonomer content.

Achieving superior performance in powder-metallurgy near-βtitanium alloy by combining hot rolling and rapid heat treatment followed by aging

Heat treatment plays an important role in tailoring the mechanical properties of powder-metallurgy(Pm)titanium ***,only limited work about the rapid heat treatment(RHT)of Pm titanium alloys has been *** this work,RHT was applied to Pm Ti-5Al-5mo-5v-1Cr-1Fe alloy after hot rolling to study the evolution of its mechanical properties and the influence of residual pores on its *** hot rolling and annealing,a fine and uniformα+βstructure with few residual pores is *** RHT,the primaryαdissolves gradually and completes in theβregion,and theβgrains then grow,resulting in the continuous decrease in elongation after ***,the tensile strength first increases and then decreases with increasing RHT temperature,owing to the increase in volume fraction of secondaryαinα+βregion and theβgrain growth inβ*** contrast to the RHT of cast-and-wrought titanium,the negative influence of residual pores lowers the RHT temperature for obtaining the highest tensile strength to a temperature below theβ-transus *** the negative influence of the residual pores,retained primaryαand fineβgrains with fine secondaryαinside contribute to achieving a good strength/ductility balance(1570 mPa and 6.1%,respectively).Addi-tionally,although at higher cycles to failure,the negative influence of residual pores increases as it affects the crack initiation zone at the subsurface,the good resistance of secondaryαto fatigue crack propaga-tion still enhances the fatigue strength considerably(about 300 mPa).This work suggests a cost-effective strategy to produce titanium alloys with high performance.

morphology of crater and caldera lakes in the Far Eastern region of Russia and the features of their development

In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Since the performance of micro-electro-mechanical system(mEmS)-based microphones is approaching fundamental physical,design,and material limits,it has become challenging to improve *** works have demonstrated graphene’s suitability as a microphone *** potential for achieving smaller,more sensitive,and scalable onchip mEmS microphones is yet to be *** address large graphene sizes,graphene-polymer heterostructures have been proposed,but they compromise performance due to added polymer mass and *** work demonstrates the first wafer-scale integrated mEmS condenser microphones with diameters of 2R=220-320μm,thickness of 7 nm multi-layer graphene,that is suspended over a back-plate with a residual gap of 5μ*** microphones are manufactured with mEmS compatible wafer-scale technologies without any transfer steps or polymer layers that are more prone to contaminate and wrinkle the *** designs,all electrically integrated are fabricated and characterized allowing us to study the effects of the introduction of a back-plate for capacitive *** devices show high mechanical compliances C_(m)=0.081-1.07μmPa^(−1)(10-100×higher than the silicon reported in the state-of-the-art diaphragms)and pull-in voltages in the range of 2-9.5 *** addition,to validate the proof of concept,we have electrically characterized the graphene microphone when subjected to sound *** estimated sensitivity of S_(1kHz)=24.3-321 mv Pa^(−1)for a v_(bias)=1.5 v was determined,which is 1.9-25.5×higher than of state-of-the-art microphone devices while having a~9×smaller area.
