Objective:To evaluate and-diarrhoeal and antimicrobial activities of the bioactive fraction of Trichilia emetica in order to provide a scientific basis for the management of gastroenteritis in Burkina ***:To do this,polyphenols content of extract and fractions were ***,AlCl_3 methods and tannic acid respectively were used for polyphenols *** in vivo antidiarrhocal activity was done using Swiss albino mice of both *** vitro antimicrobial activity(disc-diffusion assay,minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum microbicidal concentration or minimal bactericidal concentration) was assessed using seven bacteria strains(Gram-negative and Gram-positive).Results:About our study,it was found that ethyl acetate fraction effective attenuation factior(EAF) elicits the higher total phenolics and total flavonoids contents compared to the extracts of leaves of Trichilici *** of Trichilia emetica Vahl..has positive effects in a dose dependent manner against diarrhoea induced by castor oil in experimental *** bioactive fraction also showed good antimicrobial activity against all tested Gram-negative and Grampositive bacteria *** was shown that experimental bacteria strains were more sensitive to the EAF effect compared to the ***:The obtained results allow justifying the traditional uses of Trichilia emetica and possess good antidiarrhoeal and antimicrobial activities of EAF from Trichilia *** of the present study have clearly supported the utilization of Trichilia emetica in Burkina Faso traditional medicine.

We report the results of magnetic, thermodynamic, transport and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) studies of newly synthesized Gd_(10)Co_(20)Si_(70) alloy. These measurements confirm an antiferromagnetic transition at T_N=9 K. Both MCE and magnetoresistance (MR) show quadratic dependence on the applied magnetic field, indicating the presence of spin fluctuations in the alloy. The maximum values of the magnetic entropy change determined from the isothermal magnetization data for magnetic field change of 7 and9 T are found to be 10.5 and 15.6 J/kg·K, respectively. As a consequence of the spin fluctuations effect, the MCE peaks are pulled towards high temperature side as asymmetrically broadened peak. The MR attains a large positive value of 73%at 2 K in 8 T. The large MR and reversible MCE make this alloy an attractive multifunctional magnetic material.

Molecular structure of the marker of tumour is determined by magneto-optical analysis of blood serum. The marker is the laevorotatory enantiomer of alanine. The cancer status of a subject is described by the number of molecules of the laevorotatory alanine enantiomer (-)ρ and the effectiveness of therapy is measured by the number of molecules of the dextrorotatory alanine enantiomer (+)ρ. The values of (-)ρ and (+)ρ are determined separately for the patient before and after therapy.

The Neoproterozoic Gaojiacun intrusive complex （GIC） is composed of one big intrusion （ca. 9 × 7.5 km） and numerous satellite intrusions, emplaced in the low-grade schists of the Neoproterozoic Yanbian Group. The main intrusion is concentrically zoned, with peridotite bodies ＋ leucogabbroids in its core （inner zone） and the sequence： olivine hornblende gabbronorite - porphyric pyroxene hornblende gabbronorite （transitional zone） - pyroxene hornblende gabbronorite ＋ hornblende gabbro ＋ diorite （outer zone）, towards the margins. The satellite intrusions are composed either of a single rock type （peridotite, gabbro, diorite or granite） or of different rock types （peridotite ＋ diorite ＋ granite）. Upper crustal contamination is evidenced by the occurrence of numerous metamorphic enclaves, migmatites and mixed rocks in the outer zone of the main intrusion and in the satellite intrusions. Hornblende （often oikocrystic） is present in all mafic and ultramafic rocks. Cu-Ni （-PGE） deposits occur in several satellite intrusions, hosted in peridotite. The geochemical and mineralogical features of GIC support the presence of a subduction zone at the western edge of the Yangtze Craton. A feederrelated genesis of the satellite intrusions is inferred.

One important aspect of solar energy generation especially in inter-tropical sites is the local variability of clouds. Satellite images do not have temporal resolution enough to nowcast its impacts on solar plants, this monitoring is made by local cameras. However, cloud detection and monitoring are not trivial due to cloud shape dynamics, the camera is a linear and self-adjusting device, with fish-eye lenses generating a flat image that distorts images near the horizon. The present work focuses on cloud identification to predict its effects on solar plants that are distinct for every site’s climatology and geography. We used RASPBERY-PI-based cameras pointed at the horizon to allow observation of clouds’ vertical distribution, not possible with a unique fish-eye lens. A large number of cloud image identification analyses led the researchers to use deep learning methods such as U-net, HRnet, and Detectron. We use transfer learning with weights trained over the “2012 ILSVRC ImageNet” data set and architecture configurations like Resnet, Efficient, and Detectron2. While cloud identification proved a difficult task, we achieved the best results by using Jaccard Coefficient as a validation metric, with the best model being a U-net with Resnet18 using 486 × 648 resolution. This model had an average IoU of 0.6, indicating a satisfactory performance in cloud segmentation. We also observed that the data imbalance affected the overall performance of all models, with the tree class creating a favorable bias. The HRNet model, which works with different resolutions, showed promising results with a more refined segmentation at the pixel level, but it was not necessary to detect the most predominant clouds in the sky. We are currently working on balancing the dataset and mapping out data augmentation transformations for our next experiments. AIM:To investigate the influence of chronic pancreatitis(CP) on serum concentrations of amino ***:Thirty-five male patients with alcoholic CP and 21 healthy male subjects were *** concentrations of amino acids were assayed by ionpair high-performance liquid chromatography with mass ***:Serum glutamate concentration was increased in CP patients as compared to *** contrast,serum concentrations of glutamine,histidine,tyrosine,proline,tryptophan and threonine were significantly decreased in CP patients.A trend towards decreasing concentrations of serum lysine,alanine,methionine and valine as well as for total serum amino acids was *** sum of aromatic and the sum of essential amino acid concentrations were significantly lower in CP patients than in ***:CP leads to decreased serum concentrations of several amino acids,such as essential and aromatic serum amino acids,most likely due to decreased exocrine function.
