Growing energy demand is a current problem with greater incidence in the *** research objective is to establish seed bases to give a leading role to plants used in anthropogenic production activities and consumption,and even plants belonging to wildlife in terms of energy *** use of living plants to obtain electrical energy through a microbial-vegetable fuel cell is proposed as a mech-anism to supply the energy demand with easy access worldwide,especially in areas far from urban *** this work,the voltage produced by microbial-vegetable fuel cells was measured using graphite electrodes and plants belonging to the species of aloe(Aloe vera),corn(Zea mays),black beans(Phaseolus vulgaris),tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)and moss(Dicranidae).They were selected for their presence in everyday life and their great commercial and agricultural value,reaching a maximum voltage of 884 mV from *** is evidence that all plants can be a source of energy to a greater or lesser extent and that their performance is given by the plant root interactions at the ***,an extensive root system can favour the accumulation of substrate after the hydrolysis of dead roots,provided that their presence does not interfere with microbial activity on the anodic *** this,using plants with low resistance to thermal stress can lead to a substrate richer in substances that can be ***,it is recommended to use plants according to their life cycle and the morphology of their roots,and plants that can grow in waterlogged conditions or without direct contact with the Sun.

Animal models of acute gastric mucosal injury: Macroscopic and microscopic evaluation

Acute gastric mucosal injury is a common disorder of the gastrointestinal tract and the search for new therapeutics is ongoing. The aim of this study is to update and expand the information related to the most widely used rat models of acute gastric ulcer, the ethanol‐induced ulcer and the indomethacin‐induced ulcer. These two models are compared in terms of macroscopic and microscopic features. Experimentally, ethanol was given orally in a single dose and indomethacin was subcutaneously injected into male Wistar rats. After ulcerative challenges, the stomachs were removed and visually inspected. Anti‐ulcerative drugs were used to validate the models. Histological analysis of the stomachs determined the microscopic score. The methodology used for model evaluation applied to macroscopic and microscopic gastric lesions. With these methods it was possible to induce lesions in the gastric mucosa. Microscopic evaluation permitted assessment of the inflammatory and apoptotic impact in the mucosa not observable by macroscopic evaluation. Groups of animals were treated with two standard drugs: sulcralfate suspension or lansoprazole solution. Both drugs reduced macroscopic and microscopic lesions, particularly the hemorrhagic ones. Both models induced acute gastric mucosal injury and no single evaluation method can address all the aspects of the pathology of gastric lesions. As a complement to macroscopic evaluation, microscopy appears to be a relevant tool to selectively identify specific aspects of the development of mucosal injury, quantify the extent of lesions, and contribute to an appropriate interpretation of results. The score systems established here offer a reliable method for testing antiulcer drugs.

当今世界,企业文化的发展和完善对跨国公司的发展至关重要。它是统一公司行为、沟通和减少不同国家之间障碍的重要途径。此外,好的企业文化也是减少异地员工之间的隔阂的一种方式。无论人们多么努力地去相信跨国公司试图从零开始创造文化标准,公司文化都是基于其自身的环境和特质而发展起来。因此,美国公司自然也是根据自己的价值观创造企业文化,尽管其尽力去适应不同地区环境,公司文化仍具一定的偏见。跨国公司有责任为其员工创造一种平等环境的合作文化,减少对多样性的破坏,并应建立适合国际工作环境发展的相关交流规则、价值观和道德观的一整套体系。A公司作为一家知名的跨国公司,其企业文化的建设与发展仍有很大的改进空间。本文试图分析A公司企业文化中存在的问题和不足,并提出相应的解决方案。本文首先详细介绍了企业文化相关概念与理论,包括企业文化的基本概念、企业文化在跨国公司中的效果与作用、社会认同理论、hofstede文化维度、文化适应模型。而后,本文利用PEST和SWOT方法,从外部分析和内部分析两个方面对A公司的企业文化进行全面深入的分析。此外,本文还通过问卷调查的方式,更进一步深入挖掘A公司企业文化存在的问题。根据分析结果,文章针对存在的问题提出了相应的解决方案,并对A公司企业文化的改进提出建议。文章认为,公司应该为未来发展设计有效的企业文化,开发新的能够在不同环境中都可以较好领导和沟通的领导人,开展文化学习,设计合适的组织结构与组织行为以支持和改进公司企业文化,并且需要特别注意文化倡议。文章涵盖多个企业文化相关理论,并对各国的市场、背景、环境、社会等方面进行了分析。本文的主要目的是分析跨国公司A不同地区环境下的差异如何影响企业文化,分析该公司企业文化中存在的问题并提出其解决方案与改进建议。本文对公司A有重要实践意义,可以实践可行的帮助公司A改善企业文化,同时文章还会对其他存在类似问题的公司具有一定的指导与借鉴意义。

AIM To develop a fast, low-cost diagnostic strategy to identify single point mutations in highly variable genomes such as hepatitis C virus(HCV).METHODS In patients with HCV infection, resistance-associated amino acid substitutions within the viral quasispecies prior to therapy can confer decreased susceptibility to direct-acting antiviral agents and lead to treatment failure and virological relapse. One such naturally occurring mutation is the Q80 K substitution in the HCV-NS3 protease gene, which confers resistance to PI inhibitors, particularly simeprevir. Low-cost, highly sensitive techniques enabling routine detection of these single point mutations would be useful to identify patients at a risk of treatment failure. Light Cycler methods, based on real-time PCR with sequencespecific probe hybridization, have been implemented in most diagnostic laboratories. However, this technique cannot identify single point mutations in highly variable genetic environments, such as the HCV genome. To circumvent this problem, we developed a new method to homogenize all nucleotides present in a region except the point mutation of interest. RESULTS Using nucleotide-specific probes Q, K, and R substitutions at position 80 were clearly identified at a sensitivity of 10%(mutations present at a frequency of at least 10% were detected). The technique was successfully applied to identify the Q80 K substitution in 240 HCV G1 serum samples, with performance comparable to that of direct Sanger sequencing, the current standard procedure for this purpose. The new method was then validated in a Catalonian population of 202 HCV G1-infected individuals. Q80 K was detected in 14.6% of G1 a patients and 0% of G1 b in our setting. CONCLUSION A fast, low-cost diagnostic strategy based on real-time PCR and fluorescence resonance energy transfer probe melting curve analysis has been successfully developed to identify single point mutations in highly variable genomes such as hepatitis C virus. 目的：本研究目的是在探讨治疗颈痛,肌筋膜扳机点理论与传统针灸理论的相关性,并比较它们的解剖位置、主治、疼痛感传路线、针感和针刺手法相似性。方法：文献研究互联网与手工检索相结合。搜索使用英语在,EBSCO, PUBMED, MEDLINE, ELSEVIER,中国知网数据库与关键词进行"trigger points and acupuncture", "dry needling and acupuncture", "rayofascial pain and acupuncture", "trigger point and neck pain" and "acupuncture and neck pain"从研究参考资料进行进一步研究。理论分析：收集总结扳机点和针灸相关的现存研究。纳入研究被分类按以下标准：1)扳机点与穴位解剖位置的重叠性2)扳机点与针灸主治的相关性3)扳机点疼痛感传路线与经络一致4)针感的相似性5)针刺手法相似性讨论结论：肌筋膜扳机点理论与传统针灸学理论有共同原则用于治疗疼痛障碍。经比较发现,在Dr. Travel1 And Simon的The Trigger Point Manual扳机点手册中发现有255个扳机点,234的扳机点与腧穴在解剖部位上相对应,而214针灸穴位所主治的疼痛与其对应的扳机点相似和56个有躯体内脏的对应关系。扳机点与腧穴均可以引发类似的线性感传,线性感传和经络之间共有221的对应关系。此外,有类似的针刺感觉和针刺手法。对于颈痛治疗结果表明,每一个扳机点的颈部疼痛都有相应的针灸穴位,也表明所有的扳机点对颈痛也有相关的主治。扳机点疼痛感传路线和经络在颈部疼痛治疗有同意的对应关系。除颈多裂肌的颈百劳穴是一个额外的点不属于经络,和冈下肌的扳机点与天宗有部分一致,其他所有的点的疼痛感传路线都和经络完全一致。此外,有得气和局部抽搐之间的相似性以及针刺后的感觉。在针刺技术方面,扳机点和针刺有共同的特点,他们都使用毫针以及手法“雀啄”与“提插手法”。干针技术支持者承认这一技术某些方面的灵感来自针灸。这些考虑表明,扳机点和传统穴位在治疗疼痛障碍可能代表了相同的物理现象。也可以认为,扳机点疗法代表了腧穴的重新发现。

Human sperm pattern of movement during chemotactic ＇e-orientation towards a progesterone source

Human spermatozoa may chemotactically find out the egg by following an increasing gradient of attractant molecules. Although human spermatozoa have been observed to show several of the physiological characteristics of chemotaxis, the chemotactic pattern of movement has not been easy to describe. However, it is apparent that chemotactic cells may be identified while returning to the attractant source. This study characterizes the pattern of movement of human spermatozoa during chemotactic re-orientation towards a progesterone source, which is a physiological attractant candidate. By means of videomicroscopy and image analysis, a chemotactic pattern of movement was identified as the spermatozoon returned towards the source of a chemotactic concentration of progesterone （10 pmol I^-1）. First, as a continuation of its original path, the spermatozoon swims away from the progesterone source with linear movement and then turns back with a transitional movement that can be characterized by an increased velocity and decreased linearity. This sperm behaviour may help the spermatozoon to re-orient itself towards a progesterone source and may be used to identify the few cells that are undergoing chemotaxis at a given time.

Analysis of the Rheological Behavior of Aging Bitumen and Predicting the Risk of Permanent Deformation of Asphalt

The aging of bitumen has a significant impact on the mechanical behavior of asphalt. This aging is carried out at the mixing operation with the aggregates generally at 163°C in the case of pure mixtures or at temperatures higher than in the case of the modification by polymers or industrial waste. This paper presents experimental results of a study of the rheological behavior of a class of bitumen 40/50 to the artificial aging. Three aging temperatures were selected: 163°C, 173°C and 183°C. From obtained results, a study of the risk of deformation of asphalt is performed, based on the results of correlation between the behavior of the coated and his binder deducted SHRP specifications and technical advice French. These results show that the stiffness of the aged binders increases with aging temperature. Moreover, there is no risk of rutting and fatigue cracking for thermal coated projected.

Most of the toxicity data presented in the literature are obtained in relatively simple media, like distilled water. The literature reported that nanoparticles agglomerate immediately upon being added to cell culture media and if the agglomerates are used directly in antimicrobial studies, the interpretation of the toxicity results tends to be complicated. Six different molar ratios Ag-TiO2 composites were synthesized by a reduction method using two different commercial TiO2 particles as base materials and were used to find the aggregate size in distilled water and Mueller-Hinton Broth, and to obtain the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) against E. coli and E. faecalis. To evaluate the evolution of the Ag-TiO2 particle size (z-average) three dilutions of each of the synthesized composites 100 μg/ml, 250 μg/mL and 500 μg/ml were realized in deionized water and Mueller Hinton broth. It was found that Ag-TiO2 composites increased in size after being diluted in Mueller-Hinton Broth, but once they grew in size, they remained constant for 24 minutes, and after this time, did not affect the MIC for the microorganisms involved.
