Th17 is a lymphoc.te T helper(Th)subpopulation relevant in the c.ntrol and.regulation of the immune response c.arac.erized.by the prod.c.ion of interleukin(Il)-*** c.uc.al c.tokine family ac.s through their bind.ng to the Il-17 rec.ptors(Il-17R),having up to six *** the biology of fish Th17 is well-rec.gnized.the molec.lar and.func.ional c.arac.erization of Il-17 and.Il-17R has been ***,our aim was to id.ntify and.c.arac.erize the Il-17R repertory and.regulation in the two main Med.terranean c.ltured.fish spec.es,the gilthead.seabream(Sparus aurata)and.the European sea bass(d.c.ntrarc.us labrax).Our in silic. results showed.the c.ear id.ntific.tion of six members in eac. fish spec.es,from Il-17RA to Il-17RE-like,with well-c.nserved.gene struc.ure and.protein d.mains with their human *** of them showed.wid. and.c.nstitutive transc.iption in naïve tissues but with highest levels in muc.sal tissues,namely skin,gill or *** leuc.c.tes,T mitogens showed.the strongest up-regulation in most of the il17 rec.ptors though il17ra resulted.in inhibition by most ***,in vivo nod.virus infec.ion resulted.in alterations on the transc.iption of il17 *** nod.virus infec.ion led.to some inc.ements in the il17ra,il17rb,il17rc.and.il17rd.transc.ipts in the susc.ptible European sea bass,many d.wn-regulations were observed.in the resistant gilthead.*** d.ta id.ntify the presenc. and.c.nservation of six c.d.ng Il-17R in gilthead.seabream and.European sea bass as well as their d.fferential regulation in vitro and.upon nod.virus infec.ion.

In the present work, tilted.global solar irrad.anc. d.ta are presented.and.analysed. measured.for a period.of 1 year on the c.mpus of Bahrain Polytec.nic. Kingd.m of Bahrain, from both a fixed.photovoltaic.panel and.a moving one via a two-axis solar trac.er. The fixed.panel fac.s south with an angle of 26 d.grees with respec. to the horizontal, c.inc.d.ng with the loc.l geographic.l latitud.. The sec.nd.panel is moved.by two motors, c.ntrolled.by a global positioning system and.suitable software so that the Sun's rays are perpend.c.lar to the panel surfac.. A pyranometer is installed.on eac. panel, rec.rd.ng the tilted.global solar irrad.anc., stored.by using a d.ta logger. The analysis of the d.ta obtained.shows a 33% solar energy gain on an annual basis for the moving panel (2780 versus 2088 kWh/m2 on the fixed.panel). More importantly, in June, when the energy d.mand.in Bahrain is elevated.d.e to the inc.eased.resid.ntial c.oling load., the solar energy rec.ived.by the moving panel is 54.7% higher c.mpared.with that of the fixed.panel. On a perc.ntage basis, the inc.ease in solar energy from the moving panel is profound.in the early morning and.late evening hours. Moreover, the red.c.ion in the solar energy rec.ived.by the fixed.panel from May to June d.es not appear in the moving panel bec.use of the ad.ustable orientation of the latter. Throughout the year, the mean d.ily solar power varies between 0.37 and.0.56 kW/m2 for the fixed.panel, and.0.45 and.0.70 kW/m2 for the moving panel. In winter, solar energy fluc.uations are elevated.d.e to erratic.weather c.nd.tions that present a peak stand.rd.d.viation of 28% of the c.rrespond.ng mean. The d.ta presented.are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf c.untries. Tilted.global solar irrad.anc. d.ta are measured.and.analysed.for a period.of 1 year on the c.mpus of Bahrain Polytec.nic. Bac.ground.Sc.istosomiasis is highly end.mic.in sub-Saharan Afric. and.frequently imported.to Europe. Male urogenital manifestations are often neglec.ed. We aimed.to asc.rtain the prevalenc. of genitourinary c.inic.l signs and.symptoms among long-term Afric.n migrants in a non-end.mic.European c.untry using a serology *** We c.rried.out a prospec.ive, c.mmunity-based.c.oss-sec.ional stud. of ad.lt male migrants from sub-Saharan Afric. living in *** serology tests and.mic.osc.pic.urine examinations were c.rried.out, and.c.inic.l d.ta were obtained.from an elec.ronic.med.c.l rec.rd.searc. and.a struc.ured.*** We inc.ud.d.388 ad.lt males, mean age 43.5 years [Stand.rd.d.viation (Sd. = 12.0, range: 18–76]. The med.an time sinc. migration to the European Union was 17 [Interquartile range (IQR): 11–21] years. The most frequent c.untry of origin was Senegal (N = 179, 46.1%). Of the 338, 147 (37.6%) tested.positive forSc.istosoma. Parasite eggs were present in the urine of only 1.3%. The island.aims to ac.ieve 70% elec.ric.ty generation from renewable energy sourc.s by 2030 (within the target of 40% utilization of renewable energy sourc.s for the entire energy generation of the c.untry by 2030). The power sec.or has to invest US$11 billion from 2023 to 2030 to c.ntribute to reac.ing this target. This c.mmentary aims to provid. a c.itic.l perspec.ive on the rec.mmend.tions of the report from the National Sc.enc. and.Tec.nology c.mmission's 9th biennial c.nferenc. in 2023 on sc.enc. and.tec.nology, the sub-thematic.tec.nic.l report on c.ean energy, energy storage and.green hyd.ogen in line with the Sd.s in the Sri lankan c.ntext.
