The structural and associated molecules of the extracellular matrix(ECM)complex is an important component of the local milieu of cells,both for maintaining their functions and homeostasis.It is a dynamic structure that is finely tuned to changes in the microenvironment.One of these factors is hypoxia,which can arise in tissues due to physiological or pathological effects.As a result of the hypoxic effect,the properties of the ECM are significantly modified,stiffness increases,the balance between degradation and synthesis of structural proteins shifts,and the deposition of biologically active mediators’changes.Hypoxia-inducible factors(HIFs)contribute significantly to the modification of the properties of the ECM under hypoxia.Among the three HIF isoforms,HIF-1 is the most studied,with numerous identified target genes encoding proteins that participate in all matrisome compartments.Much less is known about HIF-2 and HIF-3.In the context of the effects of hypoxia on the matrisome,HIF-3 isoform is of particular interest.Unlike the first two isoforms,transiently expressed during the first hours of hypoxia,HIF-3 is activated after around 24 h of exposure to hypoxia and persists for a longer period.In addition,its transcription is more pronounced under hypoxia than are HIFs 1 and 2.HIF-3,rather than the first two isoforms,is possibly responsible for the changes that occur in matrisome during prolonged hypoxic conditions.This review attempts to summarize the available data on the involvement of HIF-3 in the matrisome modification under hypoxia.

We present the results of determination of the age,helium mass fraction(Y),metallicity([Fe/H]),and abundances of the elements C,N,O,Na,Mg,Ca,Ti,C and Mn for the Galactic globular cluster NGC 6652.We use its medium-resolution integrated-light spectrum from the library of Schiavon and our population synthesis method to fulfill this task.We select the evolutionary isochrone and stellar mass function for our analysis,which provide the best approximation to the shapes and intensities of the observed Balmer line profiles.The determined elemental abundances,age and metallicity are characteristic of stellar populations in the Galactic Bulge.

Background This work aims to provide an overview of the Mixed Reality(MR)technology’s use in maritime industry for training purposes.Current training procedures cover a broad range of procedural operations for Life-Saving Appliances(LSA)lifeboats;however,several gaps and limitations have been identified related to the practical training that can be addressed through the use of MR.Augmented,Virtual and Mixed Reality applications are already used in various fields in maritime industry,but their full potential have not been yet exploited.SafePASS project aims to exploit MR advantages in the maritime training by introducing a relevant application focusing on use and maintenance of LSA lifeboats.Methods An MR Training application is proposed supporting the training of crew members in equipment usage and operation,as well as in maintenance activities and procedures.The application consists of the training tool that trains crew members on handling lifeboats,the training evaluation tool that allows trainers to assess the performance of trainees,and the maintenance tool that supports crew members to perform maintenance activities and procedures on lifeboats.For each tool,an indicative session and scenario workflow are implemented,along with the main supported interactions of the trainee with the equipment.Results The application has been tested and validated both in lab environment and using a real LSA lifeboat,resulting to improved experience for the users that provided feedback and recommendations for further development.The application has also been demonstrated onboard a cruise ship,showcasing the supported functionalities to relevant stakeholders that recognized the added value of the application and suggested potential future exploitation areas.Conclusions The MR Training application has been evaluated as very promising in providing a user-friendly training environment that can support crew members in LSA lifeboat operation and maintenance,while it is still subject to improvement and further expansion.

This study aims at estimating changes in geographic,product and competitiveness structure of Russian bilateral trade with its major partners,specifically,China,the EAEU countries,the USA and others.For this purpose,we will test merchandise exports and imports statistics from 2008 to 2017 by CMS model（Nyssens ＆ Poullet,1990）.Our preliminary findings reveal that the most considerable changes occurred to geographic structure.For instance,new geographic destinations,such as China and the EAEU,were growing significantly while the share of the USA slightly fluctuated during considered period.At the same time,little changes were observed in product structure of Russian exports and imports.In addition,within past ten years competitiveness of middle-tech products,namely,chemicals and rubbers increased.

Drones are increasingly used for fauna monitoring and wildlife tracking;however,their application for wildlife tracking is restricted by developing such systems.Here we explore the potential of drones for wildlife tracking using an off-the-shelf system that is easy to use by non-specialists consisting of a multirotor drone,smartphones,and commercial tracking devices via Bluetooth and Ultra-Wide Band(UWB).We present the system configuration,explore the operational parameters that can affect detection capabilities,and test the effectiveness of the system for locating targets by simulating target animals in savanna and forest environments.The self-contained tracking system was built without hardware or software customization.In 40 tracking flights carried out in the Brazilian Cerrado,we obtained a detection rate of 90%in savanna and 40%in forest areas.Tests for targets in movement(N=20),the detection rates were 90%in the savanna and 30%in the forest areas.The spatial accuracy obtained by the system was 14.61 m,being significantly more accurate in savanna(x=10.53)than in forest areas(x=13.06).This approach to wildlife tracking facilitates the use of drones by non-specialists at an affordable cost for conservation projects with limited resources.The reduced size of the tags,the long battery life,and the iower cost compared to GPS-tags open up a range of opportunities for animal tracking.
