With the launch of the *** Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(LEED^(■))rating system,new building construction in the United States has rapidly begun adopting this guide as the standard for sustainable *** rating system profoundly alters the design and operation of buildings,however,to date,little has been documented on the cumulative effects of the rating system across different phases of the project lifecycle:planning,architecture/design,engineering,construction and operational facility management(AEC+P+F).Further,the ability to gain efficiencies in the building phase itself is still *** of the delivery system in LEED^(■)attainment also have not been clearly associated with the level of AEC+P+F *** pursue this goal,project participants are becoming involved earlier in the process;information exchanges take place throughout the project lifecycle;and the results of those frequent exchanges impact the value to the owner through focus on attainment of a particular green rating *** features are confi guring a framework for green project *** framework approaches lean thinking by generating value to the owner,improving the flow of information,and transforming the inputs required for the selection of materials and systems,to outputs in the form of a sustainability rating *** research focuses on exploring associations between LEED^(■)criteria,project lifecycle,the stakeholders’interests,lean process improvements and typical delivery systems used in building *** paper proposes a matrix of weighted indexes to explain and provide increased collaboration among project participants,improved efficiency throughout the project lifecycle,and new techniques which may be incorporated into the construction process.

Abundances of important and imperiled fishes of the Snake River Basin continue to *** assessed the rationale for breaching the four lower Snake River Basin dams to prevent complete loss of these fishes,and to maximize their likelihood of *** summarize the science surrounding Sockeye Salmon(Oncorhynchus nerka),Chinook Salmon(***),steelhead(***),Bull Trout(Salvelinus confluentus),White Sturgeon(Acipenser transmontanus),and Pacific Lamprey(Entosphenus tridentatus).From this,we drew ten conclusions:(1)development of the Columbia River System(including the Snake River Basin)has converted mainstem rivers into reservoirs,altering fish behavior and survival;(2)most populations currently record their lowest abundance;(3)the Columbia River System dams reduce productivity of diadromous fishes in the highest-quality spawning grounds that could buffer against future climate dynamics;(4)past actions have done little to reduce impacts or precipitate recovery;(5)the Columbia River System constrains survival and productivity of salmon,steelhead and Bull Trout;(6)Snake River Basin salmon and steelhead remain at high extinction risk;(7)eliminating migration impediments and improving mainstem habitats are essential for maintaining genetic diversity and improving Bull Trout persistence;(8)the lower Snake River Basin dams preclude passage of adult White Sturgeon,constraining gene flow and recruitment;(9)the lower Snake River Basin dams impede dramatically passage of adult and juvenile Pacific Lamprey,and(10)Snake River Basin Pacific Lamprey is at high risk of *** the four lower Snake River Basin dams is an action likely to prevent extirpation and extinction of these *** from the Columbia River System can inform conservation in other impounded rivers.

Human derived cells modeling the gastrointestinal barrier were assessed as an in vitro tool for identifying potential for adverse effects following exposure to protein toxins or innocuous dietary *** of cytotoxicity(LDH release,mTT conversion),monolayer barrier integrity([H]-inulin flux,horse radish peroxidase flux,trans-epithelial electrical resistance[TEER]),and production of inflammatory cytokines(IL-8,IL-6) were assessed using human intestinal epithelial cell lines(T84,Caco-2,and HCT-8) grown on permeable Transwell filters following addition of purified *** proteins included streptolysin O(from Streptococcus pyogenes),Clostridium difficile Toxins A and B,heat-labile toxin from enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli,listeriolysin O(from Listeria monocytogenes),melittin(bee venom),and mastoparan(wasp venom).The allergenic food proteins bovine milk β-lactoglobulin and peanut Ara h 2 and the anti-nutritive food protein wheat germ agglutinin were also *** not expected to cause adverse effects in the intestine included bovine and porcine serum albumin,bovine fibronectin,and ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase(RuBisco) from *** results demonstrated that multiple toxic proteins exerted effects on cytotoxicity and monolayer integrity whereas proteins considered innocuous did *** evaluation of this model is warranted as it may prove useful in hazard analysis for proteins with unknown toxicity profiles.

Background:Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEi)and angiotensin-II receptor blockers(ARB),the most commonly prescribed antihypertensive medications,counter renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system(RAAS)activation via induction of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)*** that ACE2 is the functional receptor for SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells,the association of ACEi and ARB with COVID-19 outcomes needs thorough ***:We conducted retrospective analyses using both unmatched and propensity score(PS)-matched cohorts on electronic health records(EHRs)to assess the impact of RAAS inhibitors on the risk of receiving invasive mechanical ventilation(ImV)and 30-day mortality among hospitalized COVID-19 ***,we investigated the immune cell gene expression profiles of hospitalized COVID-19 patients with prior use of antihypertensive treatments from an observational prospective ***:The retrospective analysis revealed that there was no increased risk associated with either ACEi or ARB *** fact,the use of ACEi showed decreased risk for *** analyses using PS-matched cohorts suggested no significant relationship between RAAS inhibitors with a hospital stay and in-hospital mortality compared to non-RAAS medications and patients not on antihypertensive *** the analysis of gene expression profiles,we observed a noticeable up-regulation in the expression of 1L1R2(an anti-inflammatory receptor)and RETN(an immunosuppressive marker)genes in monocytes among prior users of ACE ***:Overall,the findings do not support the discontinuation of ACEi or ARB treatment and suggest that ACEi may moderate the COVID-19 hyperinflammatory response.

The unitary isobar model mAID2007 has been used to analyze the recent data of pion electroproduction. The model contains all four-star resonances in the region below W = 2 GeV and both single-Q2 and Q2 dependent transition form factors could be obtained for the Delta, roper, D13（1520）, S11 （1535）, S31 （1620）, $11（1650）, D15（1675）, F15（1680） and P13（1720）. From the complete world data base, including also π data on the neutron, also Q2 dependent neutron form factors are obtained. For all transition form factors we also give convenient numerical parameterizations that can be used in other reactions. Furthermore, we show how the transition form factors can be used to obtain empirical transverse charge densities and our first results are given for the roper, the S11 and D13 resonances.

目的:目前,NCCN指南建议对局部进展期Ⅱ/Ⅲ期直肠癌先行新辅助放化疗(nCRT),然后行全直肠系膜切除术(TmE)和辅助化疗。辅助化疗的肿瘤学获益尚未得到进一步证实。本研究的目的是评估nCRT+TmE手术后接受辅助化疗的直肠癌患者肿瘤复发和生存情况。方法:本研究是在南加州的14家医院和相关诊所完成的回顾性研究,研究对象为2005年1月1日至2016年12月31日接受手术治疗的862例Ⅱ/Ⅲ期直肠癌患者,无论是否行辅助化疗,纳入研究的患者均接受了新辅助化疗以及全直肠系膜切除术。主要终点是无复发生存率。

A plasma spectroscopy experiment is described and its performances are given, ways oI excltauon u^ttc~,t tc~,,,,,~ ,,, free-burning plasma at atmospheric pressure is analyzed in detail. The fixed-grating spectrograph PGS-2 Carl Zeiss Jena is actually a variation on the very first spectrometer design, where photo-plate was replaced with a detector array of PIXIS-roper Scientific camera. Abilities of the system are analyzed and its limitations are determined.
