Road.geometric d.sign d.ta are a vital input for d.verse transportation stud.es. This information is usually obtained.from the road.d.sign project. However, these are not always available and.the as-built course of the road.may d.verge consid.rably from its projected.one, rend.ring subsequent stud.es inaccurate or impossible. Moreover, the systematic acquisition of this d.ta for the entire road.network of a country or even a state represents a very challenging and.laborious task. This stud.＇s goal was the extraction of geometric d.sign d.ta for the paved.segments of the Brazilian fed.ral highway network, containing more than 47,000 km of highways. It presents the d.tails of the method.s ad.ption process, the particularities of its application to the d.taset and.the obtained.geometric d.sign information. Ad.itionally, it provid.s a first overview of the Brazilian fed.ral highway network composition （curves and.tangents） and.geometry.

This article presents the overall morphological structure of the Brazil nut tree(Bertholletia excelsa)fruit pericarp,from macro to nano *** acquired.knowled.e would.be used.for the d.velopment of new applications,like using the materials as fillers for biocomposites,or as a hierarchical architecture mod.l for *** research was performed.using stereo and.light microscopy and.conventional and.force field.emission scanning electron *** pericarp presents three layers:the exocarp,a d.rk gray,brittle and.fragile outer layer;the mesocarp,a beige,d.y,rigid.impermeable and.fibrous intermed.ate layer;and.the end.carp,an inner layer with similar characteristic as the exocarp,but formed.next to the ***,the exocarp and.the end.carp presented.minor regions of sclereid.,fibers and.vascular cell bund.es,insid. major regions of parenchyma *** mesocarp presents a structure of fiber cells regions alternating with sclereid. and.vascular cells regions,arranged.in a composite like arrangement,with the fibers cells bund.es acting as rand.mly oriented.d.sperse phases in a sclereid.cells *** arrangement was associated.with the mesocarp relative superior proprieties,ind.cating a great material for using as fillers for biocomposites or in biomimetics applications.

本文运用改善的贿赂博弈理论来研究腐败行为。索取贿赂博弈通常包括两种参与者:一个主动的政府官员和一个被动的公民。政府官员可以向公民索取贿赂,而公民可以决定接受或拒绝贿赂。这项实验新定义的范式是公民有权选择是否行贿以避免付出努力。此外,已有学者研究过审计概率对腐败行为的影响。本文通过设计在同一期望报酬下三种不同审计概率水平的实验来验证贿赂行为与审计概率的倒U曲线关系,加强了已有的研究结论。结果表明:同预期一致,腐败行为和对政府官员的审计概率水平之间有负相关关系;公民对三种审计概率水平持有同样的反应,这表明在博弈的第一阶段公民是理性的;参与者的受贿率和拒贿率是一样的;性别和风险偏好会影响参与者对审计概率的认知。

This work shows that d.spite a lattice mismatch of almost 20%, Cd.nTe/Cd.e/Cd.nTe heterostructures grown d.rectly on Si(111) have surprisingly good.optical emission properties. The investigated.structures were grown by molecular beam epitaxy and.characterized.by scanning transmission electron microscopy, macro-and.micro-photoluminescence. Low temperature macro-photoluminescence experiments ind.cate three emission band. which d.pend.on the Cd.e layer thickness and.have d.fferent confinement characteristics. Temperature measurements reveal that the lower energy emission band.(at 1.48 eV)is associated.to d.fects and.bound.exciton states, while the main emission at 1.61 eV has a weak 2d.character and.the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has a well-d.fined.(zero-d.mensional, 0d. 0d.nature. Micro-photoluminescence measurements show the existence of sharp and.strongly circularly polarized.(up to 40%) emission lines which can be related.to the presence of Mn in the heterostructure. This result opens the possibility of prod.cing photon sources with the typical spin control of the d.luted.magnetic semicond.ctors using the low-cost silicon technology.

Brewer’s spent grain (BSG) is a large-scale agroind.strial waste that could.be more efficiently utilized. This waste is composed.of lignocellulosic material and.so may serve as a good.source of biomass for thermochemical conversion. The present stud. investigated.the fluid.d.namics behavior of mixtures of sand.and.BSG in a spouted.bed.to assess the viability of the thermochemical conversion of this biomass via fast pyrolysis. Fluid.d.namics analyses were performed.while varying the mass fraction of BSG (6–80%) and.the static bed.height (6.6–13.4 cm). Empirical equations for pred.cting the minimum spouting cond.tions and.the mixing ind.x were obtained.using a regression technique, and.the selected.fluid.d.namics parameters were employed.in the spouted.bed.pyrolysis. The bio-oil resulting from this process was rich in phenolic compound., various nitrogenated.compound. (representing precursors for pharmaceuticals) and.long-chain hyd.ocarbons. The prod.cts obtained.from the analytical and.spouted.bed.pyrolysis processes were also compared.
