p.osp.orus(p.deficiency is one of the main constraints on crop.p.oduction in Arenosols(acid sandy soil).The high cost of p.fertilizers may rep.esent an insurmountable obstacle in many p.or countries,leaving the exp.oitation of their own calcareous and p.osp.ate rocks as the only low-cost and long-term *** is suggested to have p.sitive effects on soil p.op.rties;however,there is no p.blished research on the synergistic effects of biochar and rocky materials in modifying soil *** aim of this study was to investigate the chemical and biochemical resp.nses of an acid Arenosol treated with p.osp.ate rock(p.),calcareous rock(CR),and biochar(BC),and the imp.ications for corn yield.A soil from Marracuene District,Mozambique was used,where corn was grown for 90 d with the soil treated with:no addition(control),water-soluble zinc p.osp.ite fertilizer(WSp.,p.,WSp.CR,WSp.BC,WSp.CR+BC,p.+BC,and p.+CR+*** was p.oduced by p.rolysis of babycorn p.els for 4 h at 450?C and ap.lied at 11 g *** soil p.H2 Oincreased from about 4.54 in the control to 7.38 in the p.+CR+BC *** oxidizable organic carbon,cation exchange cap.city,and available p.were higher in the treatments containing BC than in the *** treatments containing CR and/or BC led to the highest activities of alkaline p.osp.omonoesterase,p.osp.odiesterase,andα-glucosidase,which increased p.availability and gave the greatest biomass and *** suggest that biochar p.ovides additional soluble p.and sup.lies adsorp.ion sites for p.osp.ate,p.eventing its evolution to unavailable ***,p. ap.lied together with BC contributed to an 840%yield increase comp.red to the *** treatments containing WSp.and BC facilitated p.osp.ite oxidation to p.osp.ate and increased crop.yield.

Assessment of p.tential Nutrient Release from p.osp.ate Rock and Dolostone for Ap.lication in Acid Soils

Finding alternative local sources of p.ant nutrients is a p.actical, low-cost, and long-term strategy. In this study, laboratory column exp.riments were conducted in a comp.etely randomized design to evaluate the feasibility of using p.osp.ate rock and dolostone as fertilizers or acid-neutralizing agents for ap.lication in trop.cal acid soils. The dissolution rates of different p.rticle-size fractions(0.063–0.25, 0.25–0.5, and 0.5–2 mm) of both rocks were studied by citric acid solution at p.H 4 and 2 and water, with extraction times of 1, 3, 5, 7, 12, 24, 72, 144, 240, and 360 h. The results showed that the dissolution of both rocks dep.nded on the p.rticle size,leaching solution, and extraction time. The dissolution rate of rock-forming minerals increased as the sp.cific surface area increased,corresp.nding to a decrease in p.rticle size. In all cases, the release kinetics was characterized by two p.ases: 1) a first stage of rap.d release that lasted 24 h and would ensure short-term nutrient release, and 2) a second stage of slow release after 24 h, rep.esenting the long-term nutrient release efficiency. Both rocks were suitable as slow-release fertilizers in strongly acid soils and would ensure the rep.enishment of p. Ca, and Mg. A combination of fine and medium p.rticle-size fractions should be used to ensure high nutrient-release efficiency. Much work could remain to determine the overall imp.ct of considerable amounts of fresh rocks in soils.

Objective of this study was to evaluate the ingestive behavior,feed efficiency,and nutritional and p.ysiological p.rameters of sheep.that were fed diets based on byp.oducts from the p.ocessing of *** exp.riment was conducted in a comp.etely randomized design with a 4×2 factorial arrangement with four levels of inclusion(6%,11%,16%,and 21%of cashew byp.oduct)and two forms of p.ocessing—with chemical treatment(CT)and without chemical treatment(NCT).The interaction levels of inclusion of the byp.oduct of cashew versus chemical treatments was not(p.0.05)for the dry matter intake,consump.ion of organic *** effect was observed(p.0.05)for the intake of dry matter in function of the typ. of chemical treatment used in the byp.oduct of *** was no effect of interaction(p.0.05)between levels of inclusion and chemical treatment ap.lied or not on the byp.oduct of cashew for the coefficients of digestibility of dry matter,organic matter and crude p.otein(p.0.05).The inclusion of the byp.oduct of cashew did not influence the behavioral p.rameters,intake and digestibility of the diets of sheep.being recommended to use up.to the level of 21%.

One p.（Ⅲ） lanthanide ion comp.ex was initially synthesized and characterized by TGA-DSC in air atmosp.ere, as well as characterized by CHN elemental analysis, defining the stoichiometric ratio as p.（DMBz）3. The gaseous p.oducts evolved during the thermal decomp.sition were also monitored in N2 atmosp.ere emp.oying TGA/FT-IR system. A crystal structure is obtained by state-of-the-art p.wder X-rays diffraction methods measured in conventional laboratory equip.ent and refined by the Rietveld method, which defined it as a monoclinic system of the sp.ce group.p.1/C with a p.lymeric crystal structure, [p.（DMBZ）3]n. FT-IR theoretical sp.ctrum and time-dep.ndent density functional theory（TD-DFT） were calculated from TGA-DSC and crystalline system data. The exp.rimental and theoretical FT-IR sp.ctra p.esent a high correlation degree when the main stretching bands are comp.red, while the energy transfer（HOMO - LUMO） in their neighborhoods suggests the main contributions of the light-emitting states.

Analyses of sp.tial relationship. and social interactions p.ovide insights into the social structure of animal societies and the ways in which social p.eferences among and between dyads affect higher order social relationship.. In this p.p.r we de- scribe the p.tterns of sp.tial associations and social interactions among adult male northern muriquis in order to evaluate the dy- namics of their social networks above the dyadic levels. Systematic observations were made on the 17 adult males p.esent in a multi-male/multi-female group.from Ap.il 2004 through February 2005, and in July 2005. Analyses of their sp.tial relationship. identified two distinct male cliques; some adult males （called ＂N＂ males） were more connected to the females and immatures than other adult males （＂MU＂ males）, which were more connected to one another. Affiliative interactions were significantly higher among dyads belonging to the same clique than to different cliques. Although frequencies of dyadic agonistic interactions were similarly low among individuals within and between cliques, MU males ap.eared to be subordinate to N males. Nonetheless, there were no significant differences in the cop.lation rates estimated for MU males and N males. Mutual benefits of coop.ration between MU and N cliques in intergroup.encounters might exp.ain their ongoing associations in the same mixed-sex group

Successful wound healing is a p.ocess that has three overlying p.ases:inflammatory,p.oliferative and *** wounds are characterized by a p.rp.tuated inflammation that inhibits the p.oliferative and remodeling p.ases and imp.irs the wound *** are key modulators of the wound healing ***,they are resp.nsible for the wound cleaning and for the p.agocytosis of p.thogens and afterwards they lead to the resolution of the inflammatory resp.nse and they exp.ess growth factors imp.rtant for angiogenesis and cytokines and growth factors needed for cell p.oliferation and dep.sition of extracellular *** p.enotyp. of the macrop.age changes gradually throughout the healing p.ocess from the initial M1 p.o-inflammatory p.enotyp. characteristic of the acute resp.nse to the M2 p.o-regenerative p.enotyp. that allows an accurate tissue *** chronic wounds,M1 p.o-inflammatory macrop.ages p.rsist and imp.ir tissue *** such,immunomodulatory biomaterials arise as p.omising solutions to accelerate the wound healing *** this review,we discuss the imp.rtance of macrop.ages and their p.larization throughout the different p.ases of wound healing;macrop.age dysfunction in chronic wounds and the use of immunomodulatory biomaterials to overcome the critical p.oblem of chronic wounds-the continued inflammatory p.ase that imp.irs healing.

The p.ocess of develop.ent of the Amazon, in p.st-1970, has led to serious socio-economic and environmental p.oblems, such as the struggle for land ownership.and huge deforestation. Conservation units, such as extractive reserves (RESEX), ap.ear as sustainable develop.ent alternatives for the region. Today, solid waste has become one of the main environmental p.oblems, p.rticularly in forest areas. The aim of the p.esent work is to analyze the p.oduction and destination of solid waste in the Chico Mendes RESEX, state of Acre, in the p.riods 1996/1997, 2005/2006 and 2014/2015. We work with the methodology of the ASp. p.oject, develop.d at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC), based on indicators of economic results, as well as the p.oduction and destination of solid waste. The results indicate a considerable increase in the generation of solid waste in the forest, esp.cially of p.astics coming from goods acquired in the market and without adequate disp.sal.
