In this paper,the choice and parametrisation of finite deformation polyconvex isotropic hyperelastic models to describe the behaviour of a class of defect-free monocrystalline metal materials at the molecular level is *** article discusses some physical,mathematical and numerical demands which in our opinion should be fulfilled by elasticity models to be useful.A set of molecular numerical tests for aluminium and tungsten providing data for the fitting of a hyperelastic model was performed,and an algorithm for parametrisation is *** proposed models with optimised parameters are superior to those used in non-linear mechanics of crystals.

The purpose of the paper is to analyse the effectiveness of a solution known as road condition tool(RCT)based on data crowdsourcing from smartphones users in the transport *** tool developed by the author of the paper,enabling identification and assessment of road pavement defects by analysing the dynamics of vehicle motion in the road *** system users equipped with a smartphone with the RCT mobile application on board record data of linear accelerations,speed,and vehicle location,and then,without any intervention,send them to the RCT server database in an aggregated *** aggregated data are processed in the combined time and location criterion,and the road pavement condition assessment index is estimated for fixed 10 m long measuring *** measuring sections correspond to the sections of roads defined in the pavement management systems(PMS)used by municipal road infrastructure administration *** the research in question and the results obtained by the method proposed for purposes of the road pavement condition assessment were compared with a set of reference data of the road infrastructure administration body which conducted surveys using highly specialised measuring *** results of this comparison,performed using binary classifiers,confirm the potential RCT solution proposed by the *** solution makes it possible to global monitor the road infrastructure condition on a continuous basis via numerous users of the transport system,which guarantees that such an assessment is kept up to date.

We analyze the thermodynamic model of changes in comet brightness focusing on the exceptional case which is comet 29 P/Schwassmann-Wachmann(hereafter 29 P/SW).This object demonstrates quasiregular flares that occur in a short period of time;most often it lasts about a dozen *** analysis of observational data shows that the average number of comet outbursts for 29 P/SW is 7.3 per *** is the only known comet with such a number of outbursts per year,which demonstrates its *** the proposed approach to analyze the outburst of comet 29 P/SW,we took into account the complex structure of particles which are in its coma and assumed that they are composed of water ice,dust and organic *** paper explains how this diversity affects the more efficient scattering of incident sunlight during the outburst of comet 29 P/SW.

In recent years the microchannel heat exchangers have been applied in a great variety of technical areas. One of the problems, which exist in the microcharmel technology is the flow instabilities, including fluid maldistribution in the microcharmels array for the case of two-phase flow especially in micro-evaporators. One of the ways to solve this problem is flow rate control at the microcharmel inlet. However, due to very small inlet to the array of microchannels the classic flow restriction device （with moving mechanical parts） will be difficult to apply. The new device for the flow rate control based on the dielectrophoresis force was presented in the paper. Experimet^tal research results of using this device for refrigerant flow control was presented in the paper. The experimentally obtained relationships between applied voltages and frequencies and flow rates were presented showing opportunity for applying such method for refrigerants and other volatile fluids.

The paper presents three processes related to the dynamics of cometary *** following thermodynamic mechanisms were taken into account:quiet sublimation,emission of cometary matter via jet and migration of particles on the surface of the comet 103 P/*** on the first two mechanisms,the maximum particle size that can be lifted into the coma was ***,in the case of a jet,the angle at which it is emitted from inside the cometary nucleus was ***,in the case of migration,the maximum width of individual belts within which a given particle can move was *** the context of the discussed mechanisms related to the activity of comet 103 P/Hartley,the coefficient of friction and the structure of the solid or porous particles are of key importance.

The paper presents a model of the thermodynamic evolution of the comet nucleus *** the proposed approach,we focus on the analysis of the formation of pits visible on the surface of the cometary *** pits are a consequence of the thermodynamic evolution of both the surface layers and the inner layers of the cometary *** a result of complex thermodynamic processes,the surface layer is destroyed.A measure of this destruction is the amount of comet material that is thrown into a coma as a result of *** effect of this process is an increase in the area on which the incident light *** we can notice a sudden increase in the brightness of the comet,i.e.,its outburst.A measure of the amplitude of a given outburst is the diameter and thickness of the surface layer that has been *** mechanism of the evolution of the pits was proposed based on the analysis of many photos taken by the Rosetta *** obtained numerical values correspond to the actual brightness changes of the Jupiter family comets during their outburst.

In Central Europe, a large portion of post-mining sites were afforested with Scots pine, which is characterized by good adaptability and a tolerance for poor habitat at the beginning of forest ecosystem development. Conversion of monoculture on mine sites into more biodi- verse mixed hardwood forests, especially on more fertile deposits, can be an emerging need in this part of Europe in next decades. The ability to classify the forests at these post-mining sites will facilitate proper species selection as well as the management and formation of the developed ecosystem＇s stability. This work describes the guidelines that can be followed to assess reclaimed mine soil （RMS） quality, using the mine soil quality index （MSQI） and a classification of developed forest sites as a basis of tree-stand species selection and conversion of pine monocul- tures. The research was conducted on four post-mining facilities （lignite, hard coal, sulphur, and sand pit mining areas） on different RMS sub- strates dominant in Central Europe. Soil quality assessment takes into account the following features of the soil： texture soil nutrients （Ca, Mg, K, Na, P）; acidity （pH KC1）; and Corg-to-Nt ratio in the initial organic horizon. An analysis was conducted of classification systems using the MSQI validation correlation （at p =0.05） with vegetation features af- fected by succession： aboveground biomass of forest floor and ecological indicators of vascular plants （calculated on the basis of EUenberg＇s （2009） system）. Eventually, in the analysed data set, the MSQI ranged from 0.270 for soils on quaternary sands to 0.720 for a mix of quaternary loamy sands with neogene clays. Potential forest habitat types and the role of the pine in the next generation of tree stands on different RMS parent rock substrate were proposed.
