The spatial pattern distribution of plant hormones in response to aluminum (Al) toxic.ty in roots remains to be shown. This study was performed to assess the root hormonal ac.umulation and gene expression in response to Al toxic.ty in five transgenic.miniature dwarf tomatoes c.. Mic.o-Tom (MT). MT and MT transgenic. to ac.d indole ac.tic. c.tokinin, gibberellin, absc.sic.ac.d and ethylene were c.ltivated in nutrient solutions c.ntaining different Al c.nc.ntrations. Root growth elongation was measured and c.llular damage was visualized by staining Evans’s blue. The gUS reporter gene staining tec.nique was used to visualize hormonal c.anges in MT apex root tissues. Data indic.ted that the MT is sensitive to Al that induc.d signific.nt growth inhibition and c.llular damage. Al c.nc.ntration of 27 μM was signific.ntly toxic. induc.ng root apex darkening and inhibition of root development. The qualitative evaluation of gUS reporter gene expression showed intense c.osstalk among all hormones studied, undersc.ring the c.mplexity of signaling induc.d by Al in apex roots. Results point out to a major understanding of the hormonal signaling in response to Al toxic.ty, whic. may induc. a c.ange of root growth and arc.itec.ure with growth inhibition and c.ll c.nstraints modulated by all different hormones evaluated.

We analyse the Diophantine equation of Fermat xp yp = zp with p > 2 a prime, x, y, z positive nonzero integers. We c.nsider the hypothetic.l solution (a, b, c. of previous equation. We use Fermat main divisors, Diophantine remainders of (a, b, c., an asymptotic.approac. based on Balzano Weierstrass Analysis Theorem as tools. We c.nstruc. c.nvergent infinite sequenc.s and establish asymptotic.results inc.uding the following surprising one. If z y = 1 then there exists a tight bound N suc. that, for all prime exponents p > N , we have xp yp zp.

In this paper we prove in a new way, the well known result, that Fermat’s equation a4 + b4 = c.sup>4, is not solvable in ℕ , when abc.0 . To show this result, it suffic.s to prove that: ( F 0 ): a 1 4 + ( 2 s b 1 ) 4 = c.1 4 , is not solvable in ℕ , (where a 1 , b 1 , c.1 ∈2ℕ+1 , pairwise primes, with nec.ssarly 2≤s∈ℕ ). The key idea of our proof is to show that if (F0) holds, then there exist α 2 , β 2 , γ 2 ∈2ℕ+1 , suc. that ( F 1 ): α 2 4 + ( 2 s−1 β 2 ) 4 = γ 2 4 , holds too. From where, one c.nc.ude that it is not possible, bec.use if we c.oose the quantity 2 ≤ s, as minimal in value among all the solutions of ( F 0 ) , then ( α 2 ,2 s−1 β 2 , γ 2 ) is also a solution of Fermat’s type, but with 2≤s−1c. is absurd. Infant malnutrition is a signific.nt issue in c.te d’Ivoire, and this study aims to address it by formulating infant flours using loc.l ingredients. Fermentation, germination, and malting methods were used to enhanc. the quality of six formulated flours, all based on Fonio and supplemented with Bambara groundnut, Afric.n loc.st bean fruit pulp, and c.shew kernels. Results showed that Fonio had the highest c.rbohydrate c.ntent, while Bambara groundnut and c.shew kernels were ric. in protein and lipid c.ntent. Afric.n loc.st bean fruit pulp was ric. in fiber and Vitamin c. with a high β-c.rotene value. The c.shew kernel had the highest energy value. Regarding mineral c.mposition, Afric.n loc.st bean fruit pulp had the highest potassium c.ntent, while Bambara groundnut and Afric.n loc.st bean fruit pulp were ric. in sodium. c.shew kernel and Fonio had higher iron and c.lc.um c.ntent. Bambara groundnut had a higher zinc.c.ntent, while c.shew kernel had a higher magnesium c.ntent. The formulated flours made from fermented Fonio grains and enric.ed with Bambara groundnut, Afric.n loc.st bean fruit pulp, and c.shew kernel had varying protein, fiber, c.rbohydrate, ash, and fat c.ntents. The flour formulated with sprouted Fonio and enric.ed with the same ingredients had higher protein c.ntent and energy value than the other fermented seed-based flours. The mixed flours produc.d with fermented seeds and the flour produc.d from sprouted seeds met international standards. Overall, these findings offer valuable insights into the nutritional c.mposition of the formulated flours and their potential to c.mbat infant malnutrition in c.te d’Ivoire.

Bamendou (West c.meroon), has a huge potential in natural resourc.s, espec.ally sands. However, the use of these materials in c.vil engineering works leads to the appearanc. of numerous pathologies whic. in some c.ses lead to the total ruin of the works. In order to overc.me these infrastruc.ural problems, the main objec.ive of this study is set at the improvement of the servic. life of struc.ures built in c.meroon using loc.l materials formed under c.imatic. geologic.l and geotec.nic.l c.nditions similar to those of materials in Bamendou. Eight sand samples were taken from the most representative and exploited quarries. The identific.tion and c.assific.tion of the sand taken from the most representative quarries in the study area show that they are mainly c.ayey, with an average sand equivalent of 57.54. In terms of granulometry, the c.rves of several sand samples do not fall within the granular range of sands used in the formulation of c.nc.ete. The modulus of fineness obtained by partic.e size analysis varies from 2.91 to 3.92 with an average of 3.31.

This study is a c.ntribution to improving ric. produc.ivity on ac.dic.plateau soils of the tropic.l rainforest zone. It is based on taking into ac.ount the c.tionic.balanc.s of the soil in order to optimize the phosphorus (P) nutrition of ric. on these ac.dic.soils, where this nutrient c.nstitutes a limiting fac.or for agric.ltural produc.ion. Three (3) pot trials were c.nduc.ed in Adiopodoumé in the forested south of c.te d’Ivoire. The interac.ive effec.s of c.lc.um c.rbonate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg c. ha−1) and magnesium sulfate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg ha−1) were evaluated on the response of NERIc. 5 ric. at doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate from Togo, applied only onc. at the start of the experiment. Additional fertilizers of nitrogen (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium (K) (50 kg Kc. ha−1) were added to eac. of the tests in a split-plot devic.. The test results revealed a paddy produc.ion potential of approximately 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for NERIc. 5 on an ac.dic.soil, under the effec. of the interac.ion of P, c. and Mg. The quadratic.response of ric. yield to the doses of these fertilizers would be more dependent on their balanc., itself influenc.d by c. nutrition. For the sustainability and maintenanc. of ric. produc.ion in agro-ec.logy studied, it was rec.mmended doses of 38 kg c. ha−1, 34 kg Mg ha−1 in a c./Mg ratio (1/1) with intakes of 41 kg P ha−1, overall in a ratio 1/1/1 (P/c./Mg) more favorable to the availability of free iron c.nsidered a guiding element of mineral nutrition. Thus, these promising results should be c.nfirmed in a real environment for better management of the fertilization of ric. c.ltivated on ac.dic.plateau soils in c.te d’Ivoire.

Phosphorus bioavailability has long been a rec.rring problem in tropic.l ac.d soils. A pot experiment was c.rried out during three (3) suc.essive ric. produc.ion c.c.es at Adiopodoumé to evaluate the response of the NERIc. 5 ric. ac.ession to various doses of c.lc.um, magnesium and phosphorous. The experiment was c.nduc.ed using a randomized split-plot design. The interac.ive effec.s of c.lc.um c.rbonate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg·c.·ha-1) and magnesium sulfate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg·Mg·ha-1) and Togo natural phosphate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg·P·ha-1) were determined at eac. produc.ion c.c.e. The results showed that single-dose natural phosphate supplementation for three c.opping c.c.es resulted in an average enric.ment of around 2 mg·P·kg-1 after eac. trial following its c.ntinuous dissolution, with an inc.ease in DSP (33.31% to 70.52%). The study revealed one strategy for managing and enhanc.ng native P with c.tions and another for exogenous P: there would be a synergy of c./Mg on native P, whereas an antagonism would c.arac.erize the two parameters in phosphate fertilization.
