Cyclic electron transport/flow(CET/CEF)in chloroplasts is a regulatory process essential for the optimization of plant photosynthetic efficiency.A crucial CEF pathway is catalyzed by a membrane-embedded NADH dehydrogenase-like(NDH)complex that contains at least 29 protein subunits and associates with photosystem I(PSI)to form the NDH-PSI ***,we report the 3.9Åresolution structure of the Arabidopsis thaliana NDH-PSI(AtNDH-PSI)*** constructed structural models for 26 AtNDH subunits,among which 11 are unique to chloroplasts and stabilize the core part of the NDH *** the supercomplex,one NDH can bind up to two PSI-light-harvesting complex I(PSI-LHCI)complexes at both sides of its membrane *** minor LHCIs,Lhca5 and Lhca6,each present in one PSI-LHCI,interact with NDH and contribute to supercomplex formation and ***,our study reveals the structural details of the AtNDH-PSI supercomplex assembly and provides a molecular basis for further investigation of the regulatory mechanism of CEF in plants.

Since their seminal discovery in 2011,two-dimensional(2D)transition metal carbides/nitrides known as MXenes,that constitute a large family of 2D materials,have been targeted toward various applications due to their outstanding electronic *** functioning as co-catalyst in combination with certain photocatalysts have been applied in photocatalytic systems to enhance photogenerated charge separation,suppress rapid charge recombination,and convert solar energy into chemical energy or use it in the degradation of organic *** photocatalytic performance greatly depends on the composition and morphology of the photocatalyst,which,in turn,are determined by the method of preparation ***,we review the four different synthesis methods(mechanical mixing,self-assembly,in situ decoration,and oxidation)reported for MXenes in view of their application as co-catalyst in *** addition,the working mechanism for MXenes application in photocatalysis is discussed and an outlook for future research is also provided.

Recurrence of hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection following liver transplantation(LT)is almost universal and can accelerate graft cirrhosis in up to 30%of *** development of effective strategies to treat or prevent HCV recurrence after LT remains a major challenge,considering the shortage of donor organs and the accelerated progression of HCV in LT *** antiviral therapy with pegylated-interferon plus ribavirin is the current treatment of choice for HCV LT recipients,even though the combination is not as effective as it is in immunocompetent patients.A sustained virological response in the setting of LT improves patient and graft survival,but this is only achieved in 30%-45%of patients and the treatment is poorly *** improve the efficacy of pre-and post-transplant antiviral therapy,a new class of potent direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs)has been *** aim of this review is to summarize the use of DAAs in LT HCV ***,Cochrane Library,MEDLINE,EMBASE,Web of Science and clinical trial databases were searched for this *** date,only three clinical studies on the topic have been published and most of the available data are in abstract *** a moderately successful early virological response has been reported,DAA treatment regimens were associated with severe toxicity mitigating their potential ***,the ongoing nature of data,the lack of randomized studies,the small number of enrolled patients and the heterogeneity of these studies make the results largely anecdotal and *** conclusion,large welldesigned clinical studies on DAAs in HCV LT patients are required before these drugs can be recommended after transplantation.

BACKGROUND Occurring in approximately 30%of hospitalized patients,cardiovascular complications that take place during the course of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)have been shown to cause morbidity and *** case is the first report of extensive right coronary artery(RCA)thrombosis that was evaluated by intracoronary imaging and intracoronary invasive physiology in a patient with *** SUMMARY A 62-year-old woman presented with flu-like symptoms;ten days later,she presented with inferior ST-segment elevations,chest pain,dyspnea,nausea and *** patient was diagnosed with COVID-19 following a positive test *** angiography of the RCA and its branches indicated intraluminal filling defects,suggesting a *** ultrasound confirmed a subacute thrombus in the RCA,the right posterior descending branch and the right posterior ventricular(RPV)*** was also an acute thrombus in the RPV branch and atherosclerosis in the *** antiplatelet/anticoagulation therapy was *** 7 d,angiography revealed complete disappearance of the *** coherence tomography confirmed this with the exception of a small thrombus in the RPV branch and atherosclerotic plaque in the *** atherosclerotic RCA was measured using the resting fullcycle ratio,indicating no impairment to coronary *** patient was discharged on the 11^(th) day of hospitalization and remained asymptomatic through the 6-mo *** This was the first report of RCA thrombosis in a patient with *** antiplatelet/anticoagulation therapy was successful.

上期我们讲了抗螨蜜蜂的选育以及取得的成效,本期我们继续讨论选育抗螨蜜蜂过程中遇到的问题及建议。一、种蜂王的用户调查对目前蜂王市场的调查显示,客户的期望值很高,但满意度一般。欧洲养蜂人希望买到高品质的蜂王,其中最重要的是抗病和高产。但是,他们对抗病性的满意度最低(图1)。近50%的用户认为选择育种是实现免用药养蜂的重要甚至唯一的手段。具有悠久育种传统的国家的用户对选择育种的认可率更高。

Enhanced Photoprotection by Protein-Bound vs Free Xanthophyll Pools： A Comparative Analysis of Chlorophyll b and Xanthophyll Biosynthesis Mutants

When light absorbed by plants exceeds the capacity of photosynthesis, the xanthophyll violaxanthin is reversibly de-epoxidized to zeaxanthin in the so-called xanthophyll cycle. Zeaxanthin plays a key role in the protection of photosynthetic organisms against excess light, by promoting rapidly reversible （qE） and long-term （ql） quenching of excited chlorophylls, and preventing lipid oxidation. The photoprotective role of zeaxanthin, either free or bound to light-harvesting complexes （Lhcs）, has been investigated by using mutants lacking Chl b （chl） and/or specific xanthophyll species （npq, lut2）. The chl mutation causes （1） the absence of Lhcb proteins; （2） strong reduction of the feedback deexcitation （qE）; and （3） accumulation of xanthophylls as free pigments into thylakoids. Chl mutants showed extreme sensitivity to photo-oxidative stress in high light, due to higher singlet oxygen （102） release. The double mutant chlnpql was more sensitive to photo-oxidation than chl, showing that zeaxanthin does protect lipids even when free in the membrane. Nevertheless, lack of zeaxanthin had a much stronger impact on the level of lipid peroxidation in Lhcs-containing plants （WTvs npql） with respect to Lhc-less plants （chl vs chlnpql）, implying that its protective effect is enhanced by interaction with antenna proteins. It is proposed that the antioxidant capacity of zeaxanthin is empowered in the presence of PSII- LHCs-Zea complexes, while its effect on enhancement of qE only provides a minor contribution. Comparison of the sensitivity of WT vs npql plants to exogenous 102 suggests that besides the scavenging of 102, at least one additional mechanism is involved in chloroplast photoprotection.

SnO_(2) has been proven to be an effective electron transport layer(ETL)material for perovskite solar cells(PSCs)owing to its excellent electrical and optical ***,we introduce a viable spray coating method for the preparation of SnO2 ***,we employ a SnO_(2) film prepared using the spray coating method as an ETL for *** PSC based on the spray-coated SnO_(2) ETL achieves a power conversion efficiency of 17.78%,which is comparable to that of PSCs based on conventional spin-coated SnO_(2) *** large-area SnO_(2) films prepared by spray coating exhibit good repeatability for device *** study shows that SnO_(2) films prepared by spray coating can be applied as ETLs for stable and high-efficiency *** the proposed method involves low material consumption,it enables the low-cost and large-scale production of PSCs.

Low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN) is rare, and patients are often asymptomatic or have nonspecific symptoms. Appendicectomy should be performed with care and limited handling of the appendix, with extraction of the specimen through an extraction bag to prevent perforation and spillage of mucin, which can result in the development of pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). This case report aims to shed light on the approach to appendicular mucocele in contemporary medicine. The reported case shows a presentation of mucocele in a young female patient with symptoms compatible with appendicitis. This case report serves as an example of how to diagnose, manage, and follow-up on appendicular mucocele treatment for colleagues who may encounter similar conditions.
