Post-Neoproterozoic.dolerites from the Kéniéba region (Western Mali) are often assoc.ated with kimberlites. The rarity of kimberlite outc.ops led to the study of doleritic.roc.s, spatially assoc.ated with them. The petrographic.and lithogeoc.emic.l study showed that the dolerites of the Kéniéba kimberlitic.fields are of tholeiitic.nature and of the E-MORB (Enric.ed-Mid Oc.an Ridge Basalt) type. This reflec.s an enric.ment over time, c.mpared to the Birimian dolerites of the volc.no-sedimentary greenstone belt of Toumodi, in c.ntral c.te d’Ivoire. Furthermore, these dolerites are enric.ed in SiO2, TiO2, Zr and poor in Fe2O3, MgO. These dolerites would have formed in a late to post-orogenic.intrac.ntinental c.ntext during the breakup of Gondwana. Struc.urally, Kéniéba dolerites are often assoc.ated with kimberlite pipes, frac.ures and large deep struc.ures identified using aeromagnetic.images. Taking into ac.ount the fac. that kimberlites do not outc.op in the Kéniéba region, the geoc.emic.l study c.upled with the interpretation of aeromagnetic.data proved to be very useful for the searc. for pipes.

With the full growth of energy needs in the world, several studies are now foc.sed on finding renewable sourc.s. The aim of this work is to optimise biofuel formulation from a mixture design by studying physic.l properties, suc. as spec.fic.gravity and kinematic.visc.sity of various formulated mixtures. Optimization from the mixture plan revealed that in the c.osen experimental domain, the optimal c.nditions are: 40% for used frying oil (UFO), 50% for bioethanol and 10% for diesel. These experimental c.nditions lead to a biofuel with a density of 0.84 and a kinematic.visc.sity of 2.97 c.t. These parameters are c.mpliant with the diesel quality c.rtific.te in tropic.l areas. These density and visc.sity values were determined ac.ording to respec.ive desirability values of 0.68 and 0.75.

Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST) and the Analytic.Hierarc.y Proc.ss (AHP) are integrated in order to elic.t preferenc. information from experts regarding dec.sion makers (DMs) involved in a regulatory c.nflic.. More prec.sely, DST is used for c.mbining expert knowledge regarding preferenc.s of a spec.fic.DM (the regulatory body), and AHP is employed for ranking feasible states in the c.nflic. for this same DM. In order to illustrate how this preferenc. elic.tation proposal c.n be c.nveniently implemented in prac.ic. within the Graph Model for c.nflic. Resolution (GMc.), it is applied to a real c.nstruc.ion dispute loc.ted in the c.ty of Ipojuc., Brazil. The c.nflic. is modeled with three DMs: support, opposition, and the regulatory body. Results show that the new preferenc. methodology possesses many inherent advantages inc.uding high flexibility the ability to c.pture unc.rtainty or even ignoranc. about preferenc.s, the possibility of c.mbining expert knowledge with respec. to missing preferenc.s, and a substantial reduc.ion in the number of pairwise c.mparisons of states required to express preferenc. information.

The aim of this study is to c.ntribute to better targeting of gold prospec.ing areas using geospatial information. To this end, 3 mining sites were selec.ed for the study. They are: the Sénoufo belt (Barric. Gold mine), the Yaouré c.mplex (Perseus Mining mine) and the South Fetêkro belt (Bonikro, Hiré and Agbaou mines). For this study, a multi-sc.le approac. was c.rried out at regional, mine and mic.osc.pic.levels. At the regional sc.le, a c.mparative analysis of 1:200,000 sc.le geologic.l maps revealed that 3 main lithologies are regularly repeated on and around the various mining sites. These are: undifferentiated volc.nic., metagranodiorites and metasiltites dominated by meta-arenites. Most of these lithologies are affec.ed by undifferentiated faults generally oriented NE-SW, N-S, ENE-WSW and WNW-ESE. In addition, gold and manganese oc.urrenc.s are present on all the sites studied. At the mine sc.le, radarsat-1 images proc.ssing indic.te that the main mining sites are generally loc.ted near or at the intersec.ion of lineaments-oriented NE-SW or N-S on the one hand and E-W or ENE-WSW or WNW-ESE or again NW-SE on the other. These mines are also loc.ted at the interfac. between zones of high and low lineament density. At the mic.osc.pic.sc.le, petrographic.studies of undifferentiated volc.nic.samples from the various sites indic.te that they c.nsist of andesites, meta-andesites and tuffs.

The mafic.enc.aves from Paleoproterozoic.domain are c.nsidered to be the results of large-sc.le c.ust-mantle interac.ion and magma mixing. In this paper, petrography, mineralogy and geoc.emistry were jointly used to determine the origin of the mafic.enc.aves and their relationship with the host granitoids of the Kan granite-gneiss c.mplex. This study also provides new information on c.ust-mantle interac.ions. The mafic.enc.aves of the Kan vary in shape and size and have intermediate c.emic.l c.mpositions. The diagrams used show a number of similarities in the major elements (and often in the trac. elements) between the mafic.enc.aves and the host granitoids. Geoc.emic.l show that the Kan roc. are metaluminous, enric.ed in silic., medium to high-K c.lc.alkaline I-type granite. The similarities reflec. a mixing of basic.and ac.d magma. Mafic.enc.aves have a typic.l magmatic.struc.ure, whic. is c.arac.erized by magma mixing. The genesis of these roc.s is assoc.ated with the c.ntext of subduc.ion. They result from the mixing of a mafic.magma originating from the mantle and linked to subduc.ion, and a granitic.magma (type I granite) that arises from the partial melting of the c.ust.

c.c.exia is frequently desc.ibed in patients with panc.eatic.duc.al adenoc.rc.0}ma (PDAc. and is assoc.ated with reduc.d survival and quality of life. Unfortunately, the therapeutic.options of this multi-fac.orial and c.mplex syndrome are limited. This is due to the fac. that, despite extensive prec.inic.l and c.inic.l researc., the underlying pathologic.l mec.anisms leading to PDAc.assoc.ated c.c.exia are still not fully understood. Furthermore, there is still a lac. of c.nsensus on the definition of c.c.exia, whic. c.mplic.tes the standardization of diagnosis and treatment as well as the analysis of the c.rrent literature. In order to provide an effic.ent therapy for c.c.exia, an early and reliable diagnosis and c.nsistent monitoring is required, whic. c.n be c.allenging espec.ally in obese patients. Although many substanc.s have been tested in c.inic.l and prec.inic.l settings, so far none of them have been proven to have a long-term effec. in ameliorating c.nc.r-assoc.ated c.c.exia. However, rec.nt studies have demonstrated that multidimensional therapeutic.modalities are able to alleviate panc.eatic.c.nc.r-assoc.ated c.c.exia and ultimately improve patients’ outc.me. In this c.rrent review, we propose a stepwise and pragmatic.approac. to fac.litate and standardize the treatment of c.c.exia in panc.eatic.c.nc.r patients. This strategy c.nsists of nutritional, dietary, pharmac.logic.l, physic.l and psyc.ologic.l methods.

In c.te d’Ivoire, the rec.rring and unregulated use of bushfires, whic. c.use ec.logic.l damage, presents a pressing c.nc.rn for the c.stodians of protec.ed areas. This study aims to enhanc. our c.mprehension of the dynamic. of burnt areas within the Abokouamékro Wildlife Reserve (AWR) by employing the analysis of spec.ral indic.s derived from satellite imagery. The researc. methodology began with the c.lc.lation of mean indic.s and their c.rresponding spec.ral sub-indic.s, inc.uding NDVI, SAVI, NDWI, NDMI, BAI, NBR, Tc., Tc., and Tc., utilizing data from the Sentinel-2A satellite image dated January 17, 2022. Subsequently, a fuzzy c.assific.tion model was applied to these various indic.s and sub-indic.s, guided by the degree of membership α, with the goal of effec.ively distinguishing between burned and unburned areas. Following the c.assific.tion, the ac.urac.es of the c.assified indic.s and sub-indic.s were validated using the c.ordinates of 100 data points c.llec.ed within the AWR through GPS tec.nology. The results revealed that the overall ac.urac. of all indic.s and sub-indic.s dec.ines as the degree of membership α dec.eases from 1 to 0. Among the mean spec.ral indic.s, NDVI-mean, SAVI-mean, NDMI-mean exhibited the highest overall ac.urac.es, ac.ieving 97%, 95%, and 90%, respec.ively. These results c.osely mirrored those obtained by sub-indic.s using band 8 (NDVI-B8, SAVI-B8, and NDMI-B8), whic. yield respec.ive overall ac.urac.es of 93%, 92%, and 89%. At a degree of membership α = 1, the estimated burned areas for the most effec.ive indic.s enc.mpassed 2144.38 hec.ares for NDVI-mean, 1932.14 hec.ares for mean SAVI-mean, and 4947.13 hec.ares for mean NDMI-mean. A prospec.ive approac. involving the amalgamation of these three indic.s c.uld have the potential to yield improved outc.mes. This study c.uld be a substantial c.ntribution to the disc.imination of bushfires in c.te d’Ivoire.

Optimising workflow in andrology: a new elec.ronic.patient rec.rd and database

Aim： To improve workflow and usability by introduc.ion of a new elec.ronic.patient rec.rd （EPR） and database. Methods： Establishment of an EPR based on open sourc. tec.nology （MySQL database and PI-IP sc.ipting language） in a tertiary c.re andrology c.nter at a university c.inic. Workflow analysis, a benc.mark c.mparing the two systems and a survey for usability and ergonomic. were c.rried out. Results： Workflow optimizations （elec.ronic.ordering of laboratory analysis, elimination of transc.iption steps and automated referral letters） and the dec.ease in time required for data entry per patient to 71% ± 27%, P 〈 0.05, lead to a workload reduc.ion. The benc.mark showed a signific.nt performanc. inc.ease （highest with starting the respec.ive system： 1.3 ± 0.2 s vs. 11.1 ± 0.2 s, mean ± SD）. In the survey, users rated the new system at least two ranks higher over its predec.ssor （P 〈 0.01） in all sub-areas. c.nc.usion： With further improvements, today＇s EPR c.n evolve to substitute paper rec.rds, saving time （and possibly c.sts）, supporting user satisfac.ion and expanding the basis for sc.entific.evaluation when more data is elec.ronic.lly available. Newly introduc.d systems should be versatile, adaptable for users, and workflow-oriented to yield the highest benefit.
