hepatitis e virus(heV)is one of the leading causes of acute viral hepatitis *** most of heV infections are asymptomatic,some patients will develop the symptoms,especially pregnant women,the elderly,and patients with preexisting liver diseases,who often experience anorexia,nausea,vom-iting,malaise,abdominal pain,and *** infection may become chronic in immunosuppressed *** addition,heV infection can also cause several extrahepatic *** exists in a wide range of hosts in nature and can be transmitted across ***,animals susceptible to heV can be used as *** establishment of animal models is of great significance for studying heV transmission,clinical symptoms,extrahepatic manifestations,and therapeutic strategies,which will help us understand the pathogenesis,prevention,and treatment of hepatitis *** review summarized the animal models of heV,including pigs,monkeys,rabbits,mice,rats,and other *** each animal species,we provided a concise summary of the heV genotypes that they can be infected with,the cross-species transmission pathways,as well as their role in studying extrahepatic manifestations,prevention,and treatment of heV *** advantages and disadvantages of these animal models were also *** review offers new perspectives to enhance the current understanding of the research landscape surrounding heV animal models.

Jigsaw-Sketch: a fast and accurate algorithm for finding top-k elephant flows in high-speed networks

Finding top-k elephant flows in high-speed networks is one of the most fundamental network measurement tasks. It is more challenging than per-flow size estimation since the IDs and sizes of top-k flows must be tracked simultaneously. Most existing studies only record the IDs of a small number of elephant flows to fit their estimators in the extremely limited high-speed on-chip memory. However, these solutions need too many memory accesses when a packet arrives to track the elephant flows with high accuracy, which limits their practicability. Therefore, this paper proposes Jigsaw-Sketch, a new algorithm to find the top-k elephant flows with much fewer memory accesses while achieving high memory efficiency and accuracy. In this design, we propose a novel two-stage jigsaw storage scheme, which can capture the candidate top-k flows from massive network steams efficiently, and further find the top-k elephant flows with high memory efficiency and only a few memory accesses for each packet. extensive experimental results based on real network traces show that Jigsaw-Sketch improves the packet processing throughput by at least 86%, while achieving smaller memory footprints and higher accuracy compared to the SOTA.

High-Order Two-Scale Asymptotic Paradigm for the elastodynamic Homogenization of Periodic Composites

The classical two-scale asymptotic paradigm provides macroscopic and microscopic analyses for the elastodynamic homogenization of periodic composites based on the spatial or/and temporal variable,which offers an approximate framework for the asymptotic homogenization analysis of the motion ***,in this framework,the growing complexity of the homogenization formulation gradually becomes an obstacle as the asymptotic order *** such a context,a compact,fast,and accurate asymptotic paradigm is *** work reviews the high-order spatial two-scale asymptotic paradigm with the effective displacement field representation and optimizes the implementation by symmetrizing the tensor to be ***,the modified implementation gets rid of the excessive memory consumption required for computing the high-order tensor,which is demonstrated by representative one-and two-dimensional *** numerical results show that(1)the contrast of the material parameters between media in composites directly affects the convergence rate of the asymptotic results for the homogenization of periodic composites,(2)the convergence error of the asymptotic results mainly comes from the truncation error of the modified asymptotic homogenized motion equation,and(3)the excessive norm of the normalized wavenumber vector in the two-dimensional inclusion case may lead to a non-convergence of the asymptotic results.

With the increasing popularity of wearable electronic devices,there is an urgent demand to develop electronic textiles(e-textiles)for device ***,the difficulty in reconciliation between conductivity and manufacturing costs hinders their large-scale practical ***,we reported a facile and economic method for preparing conductive ***,nonconductive polypropylene(PP)was wrapped by reduced graphene oxide(rGO),followed by the electrodeposition of Ni nanoparticles(NPs).Notably,modulating the sheet size of graphene oxide(GO)resulted in controllable deposition of Ni NPs with adjustable size,allowing for controlled manipulations over the structures,morphologies,and conductivity of the obtained e-textiles,which influenced their performance in electrochemical glucose detection *** optimal material,denoted as Ni/rGO+(0.2)/PP,exhibited an impressive conductivity of 7.94×10^(4)S·m^(−1).With regard to the excellent conductivity of the as-prepared e-textiles and the high electrocatalytic activity of Ni for glucose oxidation,the asprepared e-textiles were subjected to glucose *** was worth emphasizing that the Ni/rGO_(0.2)/PP-based electrode demonstrated promising performance for nonenzymatic/label-free glucose detection,with a detection limit of 0.36μM and a linear response range of 0.5μM to 1 *** study paves the way for further development and application prospects of conductive etextiles.

Within the framework of nonrelativistic-QCD factorization,we calculate both the next-to-leading-order relativistic and QCD corrections to prompt J/ψpair production,with feed-down fromψ(2S)mesons,via photon-photon collisions at future e^(+)e^(−)colliders,including the Future Circular Lepton Collider(FCC-ee),the Circular electron Positron Collider(CePC),and the Compact Linear Collider(CLIC).We present total cross sections and distributions in single J/ψtransverse momentum and rapidity,as well as in J/ψpair invariant *** relativistic and QCD corrections both turn out to be large and ***,the production rates are large enough for useful experimental studies.
