ECG stress test induced atrial ischemia in a patient with old inferior myocardial infarction due to a distal coronary artery lesion

A 78-year-old man with a history of mitral valve prolapse underwent echocardiography during his cardiological check-up examination in 2011 in a symptom-free stage. Echocardiography revealed akinesis of the inferior septum and inferobasal free wall as a novel finding suggesting a distal right coronary artery (RCA) lesion (Figure 1). The systolic left ventricular function was normal. Earlier echocardiographies did not show wall motion abnormalities. The patient informed us that several months before the echocardiography he had a stronger chest pain. The stress myocardium perfusion imaging showed only fixed perfusion defects corresponding to the akinetic myocardial segments (Figure 2). The patient was symptom-free, therefore coronary angiography was not performed and secondary prevention therapy was initiated due to the history of myocardial infarction. Since the diagnosis of myocardial infarction, he was essentially symptom-free and attended yearly check-up echocardiography and ECG stress test examinations. The follow-up echocardiographies were identical to that performed in 2011 and the ECG stress tests were normal. In October 2014, the patient came to a regular out-patient check-up examination. His physical examination was unremarkable with normal heart rate and blood pressure. The echocardiography findings were unchanged. The ECG recorded before the start of the ECG treadmill stress test was also identical to the resting ECG tracing recorded in 2011, showing signs of old inferior myocardial infarction (pathological Q wave in lead III and borderline pathological Q wave in lead aVF by voltage criterion, Q wave in lead II, rSr’ complex in lead aVR) (Figure 3A). Figure 3B demon- strates the ECG tracing recorded during stage II of the ECG treadmill stress test. The most important alteration is a 0.075 mV PR segment elevation associated with a positive P wave in lead III. Species and endosymbiont diversity of Bemisia tabaci （Homoptera： Aleyrodidae） on vegetable crops in Senegal

Bemisia tabaci-transmitted geminiviruses are one of the major threats on cassava and vegetable crops in Africa. However, to date, few studies are available on the diversity orB. tabaci and their associated endosymbionts in Africa. More than 28 species have been described in the complex ofB. tabaci cryptic species; among them, 2 are invasive pests worldwide： MED and MEAM1. In order to assess the species diversity orB. tabaci in vegetable crops in Senegal, several samplings in different localities, hosts and seasons were collected and analyzed with nuclear （microsatellite） and mitochondrial （COI） markers. The bacterial endosymbiont community was also studied for each sample. Two species were detected： MED Q1 and MEAM1 B. Patterns of MED Q1 （dominance on most of the samples and sites, highest nuclear and mitochondrial diversity and broader secondary endosymbiont community： Hamiltonella, Cardinium, Wolbachia and Rickettsia）, point toward a predominant resident begomovirus vector group for MED Q 1 on market gardening crops. Furthermore, the lower prevalence of the second species MEAM1 B, its lower nuclear and mitochondrial diversity and a narrower secondary endosymbiont community （Hamiltonella/Rickettsia）, indicate that this genetic group is exotic and results from a recent invasion in this area.

To achieve a high product quality for nano-scale systems,both realistic defect mechanisms and process variations must be taken into *** existing approaches for variation-aware digital testing either restrict themselves to special classes of defects or assume given probability distributions to model variabilities,the proposed approach combines defect-oriented testing with statistical library *** uses Monte Carlo simulations at electrical level to extract delay distributions of cells in the presence of defects and for the defect-free *** allows distinguishing the effects of process variations on the cell delay from defect-induced cell delays under process *** provide a suitable interface for test algorithms at higher levels of abstraction,the distributions are represented as histograms and stored in a histogram data base (HDB).Thus,the computationally expensive defect analysis needs to be performed only once as a preprocessing step for library characterization,and statistical test algorithms do not require any low level information beyond the *** generation of the HDB is demonstrated for primitive cells in 45 nm technology.

Transcriptome landscape of the early Brassica napus seed

Brassica napus L.(canola) is one of the world’s most economically important oilseeds. Despite our growing knowledge of Brassica genetics, we still know little about the genes and gene regulatory networks underlying early seed development. In this work, we use laser microdissection coupled with RNA sequencing to profile gene activity of both the maternal and filial subregions of the globular seed. We find subregions of the chalazal end including the chalazal endosperm, chalazal proliferating tissue, and chalazal seed coat, have unique transcriptome profiles associated with hormone biosynthesis and polysaccharide metabolism. We confirm that the chalazal seed coat is uniquely enriched for sucrose biosynthesis and transport, and that the chalazal endosperm may function as an important regulator of the maternal region through brassinosteroid synthesis. The chalazal proliferating tissue,a poorly understood subregion, was specifically enriched in transcripts associated with megasporogenesis and trehalose biosynthesis, suggesting this ephemeral structure plays an important role in both sporophytic development and carbon nutrient balance, respectively. Finally, compartmentalization of transcription factors and their regulatory circuits has uncovered previously unknown roles for the chalazal pole in early seed development.

基于时间相关单光子计数(TCSPC)的荧光寿命成像(FLIM)的获取时间取决于成像的图像尺寸、样品寿命的精度及样品计数率.对于高密度荧光团样品,如染色组织或植物细胞,当前可用的样品计数率与TCSPC荧光寿命成像技术最高的计数率接近.该文描述了在高计数率下TCSPC性能,并估计计数损失及堆积效应.结果表明,整个体系的寿命误差比预料的要小.因此, TCSPC FLIM可在获取时间低于1s的情况下记录寿命图像.为增加FLIM时间序列记录,利用存储交换技术,在采集下一个光子期间读取正在记录的数据,使用两个平行TCSPC模块,可以每秒两幅图像记录荧光寿命时间序列.该技术可应用于活体植物组织叶绿素的瞬态测量.

在过去的几年里,开发人类近期难以企及的深海资源的技术可行性,以及扩大国家管辖以确保对非生物海洋自然资源之占有的渴望,已经使得沿海国对海洋领域尤其是对大陆架领域的主张增多.纵观地球上的不同区域,亚太地区就是一个因对海洋油气矿藏的潜在开发引发有关沿海国家之争端的明显例证.事实上,一方面考虑到现有的争端以及该区域已划定的海洋边界数量,另一方面考虑到对能源需求的不断增长,海洋油气矿藏的开发权对亚太地区国家而言无疑已成为了一个关键议题.虽然当代国际公法尤其是海洋法对此类争端的解决没有规定一个直截了当的做法,但是国家实践以及一些国际判例都就未决的海洋划界问题考虑了一些临时措施.在某些情况下,例如共同开发协议这样的临时方案,已经允许对跨界的或在主权要求重叠区域发现的共同海洋资源的共同开发.在帝汶海、中国东北部海域和泰国湾实施的共同开发机制即是如此.因此,虽然已知的海洋油气矿藏共同开发协议在法律上存在差异,各自概念和法律性质远未统一,但是经全面分析这些殊异的协议,提出一个适合于亚太地区具体情况并能最终改善该地区的经济、政治和社会状况的法律解决方案还是可能的.

Acute pancreatitis(AP)is an inflammatory disease of the *** is one of the most common diseases of the gastrointestinal tract,with an annual incidence of 4.9 to 73.4 cases per 100,000 worldwide.[1]AP is the most common gastroenterology hospital discharge diagnosis.[1]The most common cause of AP is gallstones impacting the distal common bile-pancreatic duct(38%)and alcoholism(36%).[2]It is associated with many local complications including peripancreatic fluid collections,pseudocysts,and necrosis(Fig.1).Many of these complications occur secondary to proteolytic damage and systemic inflammatory response syndrome,which significantly increase the morbidity and mortality risk of AP.[2]We present an unusual complication of AP:the first documented case of destruction of the ureter from pancreatic enzymes.
