Evaluating location specific strain rates, temperatures,and accumulated strains in friction welds through microstructure modeling

A microstructural simulation method is adopted to predict the location specific strain rates, temperatures, grain evolution, and accumulated strains in the Inconel 718 friction welds. Cellular automata based 2D microstructure model was developed for Inconel 718 alloy using theoretical aspects of dynamic recrystallization. Flow curves were simulated and compared with experimental results using hot deformation parameter obtained from literature work. Using validated model, simulations were performed for friction welds of Inconel 718 alloy generated at three rotational speed i.e., 1200, 1500, and1500 RPM. Results showed the increase in strain rates with increasing rotational speed. these simulated strain rates were found to match with the analytical results. temperature difference of 150 K was noticed from center to edge of the weld. At all the rotational speeds, the temperature was identical implying steady state temperature(0.89 t_m) attainment.

I’ve got a deep secret few people understand and even fewer will admit to sharing. It’s time to tell the truth: I love the rain, deeply and passionately and more than the sun. At least I live in the right place, famous for its damp weather and spawning its own genuine rainforest. I can’t imagine living anywhere else than the Pacific Northwest. the sun shines so infrequently that my friends forget where they put their sunglasses. Gloomy clouds cause many people around here to suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Yet I welcome the rain. Seattleites well say they like how rain keeps the city green, how clean the air tastes afterwards. My real reason for enjoying the rain is steeped in pure selfishness—when it’s mucky outside, I don’t have to do anything. I can spend the afternoon curled up reading, build a fire and make a big pot of spiced tea. I can sleep in late, waking up occasionally to hear soothing patter on the roof, water racing down the gutter. Nobody expects me to leave my house or do anything overly productive. Maybe I’ll invite a few friends over to watch an old movie or play a board game. Friends’ expectations are low and easy to meet.

the cooperative dirty paper coding （DPC） rate region is investigated in a two-transmitter two-receiver network with full channel state information available at all terminals. the transmitters cooperate by first exchanging messages over an orthogonal cooperation channel,then they mimic a broadcast channel （BC） and jointly perform DPC to send to the two independent receivers. the allocation of network power and bandwidth between the data and the cooperation channel is studied to characterize the cooperative DPC rate region. First,the optimal sum power allocation for a multiple access channel （MAC） is presented. then through an application of the MACBC capacity duality,the cooperative DPC rate region is evaluated under different bandwidth allocation assumptions. Cooperative DPC outperforms non-cooperative time-division （tD） only when the cooperation channel is strong,since the joint-encoding capacity gain is negated by the overhead of message exchanges in a weak cooperation channel. Moreover,the cooperative capacity advantage over tD is more pronounced at the maximum sum rate point than when the rate vector is skewed toward one of the users.

Cryptographic Lightweight Encryption Algorithm with Dimensionality Reduction in Edge Computing

Edge Computing is one of the radically evolving systems through generations as it is able to effectively meet the data saving standards of consumers,providers and the workers. Requisition for Edge Computing based items havebeen increasing tremendously. Apart from the advantages it holds, there remainlots of objections and restrictions, which hinders it from accomplishing the needof consumers all around the world. Some of the limitations are constraints oncomputing and hardware, functions and accessibility, remote administration andconnectivity. there is also a backlog in security due to its inability to create a trustbetween devices involved in encryption and decryption. this is because securityof data greatly depends upon faster encryption and decryption in order to transferit. In addition, its devices are considerably exposed to side channel attacks,including Power Analysis attacks that are capable of overturning the *** space and the ability of it is one of the most challenging tasks. toprevail over from this issue we are proposing a Cryptographic LightweightEncryption Algorithm with Dimensionality Reduction in Edge Computing. thet-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding is one of the efficient dimensionality reduction technique that greatly decreases the size of the non-linear data. thethree dimensional image data obtained from the system, which are connected withit, are dimensionally reduced, and then lightweight encryption algorithm isemployed. Hence, the security backlog can be solved effectively using thismethod.

Binding studies of trans-resveratrol with superoxide dismutase (SOD1): Docking assessment and thermoanalysis

the binding pursuits of trans-resveratrol(t-RSV),an amazing health supplement are investigated with an antioxidant enzyme,superoxide dismutase(SOD1).the aim of the study is to dock t-RSV on the adrenaline binding site on SOD1 in order to explore its potential to act as a safety net against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS),a fatal neurodegenerative disorder that affects motor *** silico GLIDE docking methodology and in vitro microcalorimetry technique is utilized for the investigation of binding parameters of t-RSV with *** study provides useful and distinct information about the amino acids involved in the interactions at molecular level along with the nature of forces involved in binding of t-RSV with *** docking analysis using the scoring functions of Schrodinger’s Glide package depicts that GLU100,PRO28,LYS23,tRP32 residues of the peptide backbone on SOD1 interact with phenolic groups of *** information on thermodynamic parameters,*** constant(Kb),free energy(△G)and enthalpy(△H)generated through calorimetric titrations suggests that the reaction between t-RSV and SOD1 is spontaneous and *** the studies are found to be in close agreement with each other based as far as the magnitude of binding constant(Kb=9.9×10^4)is concerned.

作为高炉替代工艺,奥地利Voest-Alpine Industrie anlagenbau已开发了COREX工艺。近年来,人们的兴趣显著地转向开发另外的钢铁冶炼工艺,其原因是冶金焦煤趋向短缺,焦炉和烧结厂的污染,精细的设备要求以及最终的生产经济性。在炼铁方面开发的工艺之一是COREX技术的出现,它是改变炼铁环节最有意义的解决方案,并且是目前替代高炉的惟一进入商业运营的工艺。考虑到环境保护的重要性以及不使用在印度极少的焦煤,M/s JVSL钢铁公司开始具有挑战性的工作,建设基于COREX流程的钢铁联合企业。两座COREX C-2000装置在JVSL运行。装置1于1999年8月投入运行,装置2于2001年4月投入运行。工艺在操作上具有较大的灵活性,可以使用多种类型的非焦煤作为初级燃料,并且对原料质量的要求较低。工艺产生的煤气用于发电以及作为联合企业的燃料。COREX工艺铁水的特性是:高温（1480-1510℃）,低硫、低氮和极少杂质。与传统的高炉工艺流程相比,由于去除了烧结、焦炉以及灰尘收集工序,总之COREX工艺流程环境更加友好。本文给出了JVSL两座COREX装置操作的概述。详细讨论了过去4年来COREX装置的各种生产指标。
