BACKGROUnD Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common subtype of primary liver cancer with varied incidence and epidemiology *** is still a recommended treatment for a large proportion of patients with advanced *** patterns of treatment responsiveness have been identified in differentiated hepatoblastoma HepG2 cells and metastatic HCC SnU449 *** To define the long non-codingRnA-microRnA-mRnA(lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA)predicted signatures related to selected hallmarks of cancer(apoptosis,autophagy,cell stress,cell dedifferentiation and invasiveness)in RnAseq studies using Sorafenib-treated HepG2 and SnU449 *** available software analyses allowed us to establish the lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA regulatory axes following treatment in HepG2 and SnU449 *** HepG2 and SnU449 cells were treated with Sorafenib(10μmol/L)for 24 *** RnA,including small and long RnA,was extracted with a commercial miRneasy *** was carried out for the identification of changes in lncRnA-miRnA-mRnA regulatory *** MALAT,THAp9-AS1 and SnGH17 appeared to coordinately regulate miR-374b-3p and miR-769-5p that led to upregulation of SMAD7,TIRARp,TFAp4 and FAXDC2 in HepG2 ***12,EpB41 L4A-AS1,LInC01578,SnHG12 and GAS5 interacted with let-7b-3p,miR-195-5p and VEGFA in SnU449 *** axes MALAT1/hsamir-374b-3p/SMAD7 and MALAT1/hsa-mir-769-5p/TFAp4 were of high relevance for Sorafenib response in HepG2 cells,whereas pVT1/hsa-miR-195-5p/VEGFA was responsible for the differential response of SnU449 cells to Sorafenib *** Critical lncRnAs acting as sponges of miRnA were identified that regulated mRnA expression,whose proteins mainly increased the antitumor effectiveness of the treatment(SMAD7,TIRARp,TFAp4,FAXDC2 and ADRB2).However,the broad regulatory axis leading to increased VEGFA expression may be related to the side effect of Sorafenib in SnU449 cells.

This study investigates the development of novel montmorillonite/castor oil blends to formulate sustainable lubricating greases to promote the replacement of petrochemicals industry-derived materials by substances obtained from renewable ***,the effect of the thickener concentration on the rheological,chemical,thermal,tribological properties,and atomic force microscopy(AFM)microstructure of these systems were *** results showed that the C20A nanoclay content could be used to modulate the viscosity values,the linear viscoelastic functions,and tribological properties of these montmorillonite *** general,these gel-like dispersions exhibited remarkable lubricant properties;the samples showed values of the friction coefficient and wear scars similar or lower than those obtained with model bentonite grease.

Concerns about air quality in dental clinics where aerosol generation during procedures poses significant health risks,have prompted investigations on advanced disinfection *** editorial describes the strengths and limitations of ventilation and aerosol control measures in dental offices,especially with respect to the use of graphene *** potential of graphene nanocomposites as an innovative solution to aerosol-associated health risks is examined in this review due to the unique properties of graphene(e.g.,high con-ductivity,mechanical strength,and antimicrobial activity).These properties have produced promising results in various fields,but the application of graphene in dentistry remains *** recent study by Ju et al which was published in World Journal of Clinical Cases evaluated the effectiveness of graphene-based air disinfection systems in dental *** study demonstrated that graphene-based disinfection techniques produced significant reductions in suspended particulate matter and bacterial colony counts,when co-mpared with traditional *** these positive results,challenges such as material saturation,frequency of filter replacement,and associated costs must be addressed before widespread adoption of graphene-based disinfection techniques in clinical ***,there is need for further research on material structure optimization,long-term safety evaluations,and broader clinical applications,in order to maximize their positive impact on public health.

Microfluidics has demonstrated high versatility in the analysis of in-flow particles and can even achieve mechanical properties measurements of biological cells by applying hydrodynamic ***,there is currently no available technique that enables the direct measurement and tracking of these hydrodynamic forces acting on a flowing *** this work,we introduce a novel method for the direct measurement of the hydrodynamic force actuating on an in-flow particle based on the analysis of the induced resonance changes of suspended microchannel resonators(SMRs).This hydrodynamic force sensitivity depends on the device used;therefore,we considered the geometry and materials to advance this dependency on the SMR resonance frequency.
