Protein O-GlcNAcylation is a post-translational modification that links environmental stimuli with changes in intracellular signal pathways,and its disturbance has been found in neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic ***,its role in the mesolimbic dopamine(DA)system,especially in the ventral tegmental area(VTA),needs to be ***,we found that injection of Thiamet G,an O-GlcNAcase(OGA)inhibitor,in the VTA and nucleus accumbens(NAc)of mice,facilitated neuronal O-GlcNAcylation and decreased the operant response to sucrose as well as the latency to fall in rotarod *** with DAergic neuron-specific knockout of O-GlcNAc transferase(OGT)displayed severe metabolic abnormalities and died within 4–8 weeks after ***,mice specifically overexpressing OGT in DAergic neurons in the VTA had learning defects in the operant response to sucrose,and impaired motor learning in the rotarod ***,overexpression of OGT in GABAergic neurons in the VTA had no effect on these *** results suggest that protein O-GlcNAcylation of DAergic neurons in the VTA plays an important role in regulating the response to natural reward and motor learning in mice.

In this study, composite briquettes were prepared using gravity dust and converter sludge as the main materials; these briquettes were subsequently reduced in a tube furnace at 1000-1300℃ for 5-30 min under a nitrogen atmosphere. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, and carbon content on the metallization and dezincification ratios of the composite briquettes were studied. The reduced com- posite briquettes were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and energy-dispersive spectroscopy （EDS）. The results show that the gravity dust and converter sludge are combined into the composite briquettes and a reasonable combination not only improves the performance of the composite briquettes, but also leads to the reduction with no or little reductant and flux. As the re- action temperature is increased and the reaction time is extended, the metallization and dezincification ratios of the composite briquettes in- crease gradually. When the composite briquettes are roasted at 1300℃ for 30 rain, the metallization ratio and dezineification ratio reaches 91.35% and 99.25%, respectively, indicating that most of the iron oxide is reduced and the zinc is almost completely removed. The carbon content is observed to exert a lesser effect on the reduction process; as the C/O molar ratio increases, the metallization and dezincification ra- tios first increase and then decrease.

Two new isomeric Au complexes, Au（PPh3）（bmt）, have been synthesized via the reaction of Au（PPh3）CI with 2-benzimidazolethiol （Hbmt） in dichloromethane （CH2Cl2） solution. Their crystal structures were determined by elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 19.589（2）, b = 21.1368（15）, c = 23.424（2） A, β = 108.346（4）°, V= 9206.1（14） A3, Mr = 1216.85, Dc = 1.756 g/cm3, μ = 6.566 mm^-1, F（000） = 4704, Z = 8, the final R = 0.0563 and wR = 0.1028 for 8125 reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 9.627（3）, b = 21.384（8）, c = 22.308（8） A, β = 92.068（6）°, V= 4590（3） A3, Mr = 1216.85, Dc = 1.761 g/cms, μ = 6.585 mm^-1, F（000） = 2352, Z = 4, the final R = 0.0500 and wR = 0.0883 for 10477 reflections with I 〉 2σ（i）. X-ray diffraction studies reveal that complexes 1 and 2 both feature a 1D chain along the a axis.

Triphenylamine(TPA) derivatives have been widely used as useful building blocks for diverse functional materials because of their excellent redox activity. Most of the molecular structures of TPA-based organic functional materials contain 4-anisyl groups, which on one hand could reduce their oxidation potential and on the other hand significantly delocalize the spin density of the resultant TPA radical cation species and enhance their stability. However, molecular-level investigation of the redox behavior of triphenylamines consisting of 4-anisyl group and the electronic structures of their radical cation species has not been reported in the literature. Herein, we design a series of triphenylamines consisting of one, two, or three 3,5-di–tert–butyl–4-anisyl groups and investigate their redox behaviors and corresponding radical cation species. We disclose that the resonance hybrid and steric protection could both contribute to the stability of triphenylamine radical cations. Moreover, further oxidation leads to an unexpected oxidative demethylation. The findings in this work may reveal new insights for the understanding of the unique redox properties of 4-anisyl substituted triphenylamines.

Rutile in HP Rocks from the Western Tianshan,China:Mineralogy and Its Economic Implications

Rutile is a common Ti-bearing accessory mineral in high pressure （HP） metamorphic rocks of the western Tianshan. Distribution of rutile in the HP rocks varies from 0.5% in the greenschist to 30% in the rutile-bearing vein. Rutile can be subdivided into three groups based on the variation of trace elements： The first group has an averaged Zr content of 18 ppm-44 ppm and Hf content of 0.8 ppm-2.4 ppm, which correspond to occurrence of rutile from vein; the second group Zr of 59 ppm-63 ppm, Hf of 3.5 ppm-3.7 ppm; and the third group Zr of 150 ppm-160 ppm and Hf of 3.9 ppm, corresponding to rutile in the matrix of blueschist and eclogite, respectively. Rutile has been retrograded to ilmenite and titanite partly or completely, reducing the value of the ore. But rutile of HP rocks in the western Tianshan usually has the lowest content of uranium （〈1 ppm U）, which might become an attractive raw material for the Ti industry. Therefore, rutile-bearing HP rocks in the western Tianshan as a mineral resource will be the focus of considerable attention.

The reactions of nickel group M 2+ with thiolate and phosphine in MeOH yield mononuclear and binuclear complexes. Ni 2 (PEt 3) 2 (pdt) 2 (pdt = 1, 2-propanedithiolate) was synthesized and analyzed by single crystal X-ray diffraction method. The complex is monoclinic with space group P2 1/c, M r = 566. 16 a = 18. 737 (5), b = 9.906(4), c = 14. 540(10) Å;V = 2697. 65 Å 3, D c = 1. 394 g/cm 3 for Z = 4;the final R(R w) = 0. 062(0. 072). The complex is a dimer, where the Ni atoms are linked by two sulphur atoms from SC 3H 6S 2- (pdt 2-) ligands and each Ni atom is four-coordinated by one P and three S atoms with distorted square-planar geometry. The Ni -Ni distance is 3. 025 Å , the average Ni-S, Ni-P distances are 2. 187 and 2. 194 Å , respectively.

The application of nanomaterials in energy and environmental fields has recently made great *** a key element in the nuclear industry,the discharge of uranium(U(VI))contained wastewater usually induces environmental issues and waste of *** the catalytically generated H_(2)O_(2)by nanomaterials has recently shown application potential in extracting U(VI)from water,low-cost and highly efficient nanocatalysts are still urgently *** this work,a cheap and readily available piezocatalyst of calcium phosphate nanorods was successfully fabricated by calcining chicken *** ultrasonication,H_(2)O_(2)was produced and used to extract U(VI)from *** is worth noting that the yield of H_(2)O_(2)reached 179.7μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),and the extraction efficiency of U(VI)in water reached 97.16%(100 ppm)within 330 *** the capture and quantitative analysis of the active species,it is found that the generation of H_(2)O_(2)depends on the combination of soluble oxygen and piezoelectrons,which thus dominates the extraction of U(VI).This simple and powerful piezocatalytic strategy greatly reduces the cost of H_(2)O_(2)production for U(VI)extraction in water,and is of great significance for the treatment of U(VI)-containing wastewater.
