The genus Cubachipteria of Achipteriidae is firstly reported from China. Two new species of C. pianmaensis sp. nov. and C. gaoligongensis sp. nov., are described here, which are collected on moss and leaf litter from Yunnan Province, China. These two species can be distinguished from all known species of Cubachipteria by the absence of interlamellar setae. A key to the known species of Cubachipteria is given. All type materials are deposited in Guizhou University, Guiyang City, China （GUGC）.

Background:Early systemic anticoagulation(SAC)is a common practice in acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP),and its impact on in-hospital clinical outcomes had been assessed.However,whether it affects long-term outcomes is unknown.This study aimed to evaluate the effect of SAC on 90-day readmission and other long-term outcomes in ANP patients.Methods:During January 2013 and December 2018,ANP patients admitted within 7 days from the onset of abdominal pain were screened.The primary outcome was 90-day readmission after discharge.Cox proportional-hazards regression model and mediation analysis were used to define the relationship between early SAC and 90-day readmission.Results:A total of 241 ANP patients were enrolled,of whom 143 received early SAC during their hospitalization and 98 did not.Patients who received early SAC experienced a lower incidence of splanchnic venous thrombosis(SVT)[risk ratio(RR)=0.40,95%CI:0.26-0.60,Pfactor for 90-day readmission after adjusting for potential confounders with a hazard ratio of 0.57(95%CI:0.34-0.96,P=0.04).Mediation analysis showed that SVT mediated 37.0%of the early SAC-90-day readmission causality.Conclusions:The application of early SAC may reduce the risk of 90-day readmission in the survivors of ANP patients,and reduced SVT incidence might be the primary contributor.

The organic-rich mudstones and dolostones of the Permian Fengcheng Formation(Fm.)are typically alkaline lacustrine source rocks,which are typified by impressively abundantβ-carotane.Abundantβ-carotane has been well acknowledged as an effective indicator of biological sources or depositional environments.However,the specific biological sources ofβ-carotane and the coupling control of biological sources and environmental factors on the enrichment ofβ-carotane in the Fengcheng Fm.remains obscure.Based on a comprehensive investigation of the bulk,molecular geochemistry,and organic petrology of sedimentary rocks and the biochemistry of phytoplankton in modern alkaline lakes,we proposed a new understanding of the biological precursors ofβ-carotane and elucidated the enrichment mechanism ofβ-carotane in the Fengcheng Fm.The results show that the biological precursors crucially control the enrichment ofβ-carotane in the Fengcheng Fm.The haloalkaliphilic cyanobacteria are the primary biological sources ofβ-carotane,which is suggested by a good positive correlation between the2-methylhopane index,7-+8-methyl heptadecanes/C_(max),C_(29%),andβ-carotane/C_(max)in sedimentary rocks and the predominance of cyanobacteria with abundantβ-carotene in modern alkaline lakes.The enrichment ofβ-carotane requires the reducing condition,and the paleoredox state that affects the enrichment ofβ-carotane appears to have a threshold.The paleoclimate conditions do not considerably impact the enrichment ofβ-carotane,but they have some influence on the water's paleosalinity by affecting evaporation and precipitation.While it does not directly affect the enrichment ofβ-carotane in the Fengcheng Fm.,paleosalinity does have an impact on the cyanobacterial precursor supply and the preservation conditions.

The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial environment)and the influence of interaction between different corrosive anions on corrosion were investigated.The results show that the total corrosion rates of samples in three simulated solutions were in order of S2>S0>S1,which is simultaneously correlated with initial corrosion dissolution processes as well as after the formation of corrosion products.HCO3−will inhibit the initial corrosion owing to the formation of films,whereas HSO3−will accelerate the dissolutions of the matrix based on the synergistic action of HSO3−and Cl−.On the other hand,there is no significant difference in corrosion rates between the samples treated by ACS and EPS techniques.The EPS technique that is safe,reusable and environmentally friendly can be further widely used in future work.

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological storage.Based on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this study.The model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) storage.For nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) storage.Large CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,respectively.Component diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous media.Component diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,respectively.In addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,respectively.This study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes.

BACKGROUND The understanding of bile acid(BA)and unsaturated fatty acid(Ufa)profiles,as well as their dysregulation,remains elusive in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)coexisting with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Investigating these metabolites could offer valuable insights into the pathophy-siology of NAFLD in T2DM.AIM To identify potential metabolite biomarkers capable of distinguishing between NAFLD and T2DM.METHODS A training model was developed involving 399 participants,comprising 113 healthy controls(HCs),134 individuals with T2DM without NAFLD,and 152 individuals with T2DM and NAFLD.External validation encompassed 172 participants.NAFLD patients were divided based on liver fibrosis scores.The analytical approach employed univariate testing,orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis,logistic regression,receiver operating characteristic curve analysis,and decision curve analysis to pinpoint and assess the diagnostic value of serum biomarkers.RESULTS Compared to HCs,both T2DM and NAFLD groups exhibited diminished levels of specific BAs.In Ufas,particular acids exhibited a positive correlation with NAFLD risk in T2DM,while theω-6:ω-3 Ufa ratio demonstrated a negative correlation.Levels ofα-linolenic acid andγ-linolenic acid were linked to significant liver fibrosis in NAFLD.The validation cohort substantiated the predictive efficacy of these biomarkers for assessing NAFLD risk in T2DM patients.CONCLUSION This study underscores the connection between altered BA and Ufa profiles and the presence of NAFLD in individuals with T2DM,proposing their potential as biomarkers in the pathogenesis of NAFLD.

目的ATP结合盒B亚家族成员1(ATP binding cassette subfamily B member 1,ABCB1)的异常表达在多种癌症的发生发展中发挥关键作用。然而,G蛋白偶联受体C家族5组A型(G protein coupled receptor family C group5 type A,GPRC5A)调控的ABCB1表达对肺腺癌增殖的影响仍不清楚。本研究探讨了GPRC5A调控的ABCB1表达对肺腺癌增殖的影响。方法我们采用RT-PCR、Western-blot或免疫组化实验,分析ABCB1在肺腺癌细胞系、人肺腺癌组织以及GPRC5A基因敲除小鼠和野生型小鼠的气管上皮细胞和肺组织中的表达。采用细胞计数试剂盒-8(CCK-8)分析GPRC5A基因敲除小鼠气管上皮细胞对化疗药物的敏感性。采用皮下肿瘤形成实验探讨下调ABCB1表达是否可抑制体内肺腺癌增殖。采用免疫荧光和免疫沉淀实验研究GPRC5A和ABCB1之间潜在的调控关系。结果ABCB1在肺腺癌细胞系和人类肺腺癌组织中表达上调。GPRC5A基因敲除小鼠的气管上皮细胞及肺组织的ABCB1表达高于野生型小鼠。与GPRC5A野生型小鼠的气管上皮细胞相比,GPRC5A基因敲除小鼠的气管上皮细胞对塔立奇达和多柔比星更敏感。注射移植细胞28天后,接受ABCB1基因敲除细胞移植的GPRC5A-/-C57BL/6小鼠的肺肿瘤的体积和重量均明显低于野生型细胞移植小鼠(P=0.0043,P=0.0060)。此外,免疫荧光和免疫沉淀实验表明,GPRC5A通过直接结合方式调控ABCB1的表达。结论GPRC5A通过抑制ABCB1表达降低肺腺癌增殖。GPRC5A调节ABCB1表达的途径有待研究。

BACKGROUND Portal vein thrombosis(PVT)is a commonthsn complication after splenectomy in patients with cirrhosis.However,the predictors of postoperative PVT are not known.AIM To investigate the predictors of PVT after splenectomy in patient with cirrhosis.METHODS A total of 45 patients with cirrhosis who underwent splenectomy were consecutively enrolled from January 2017 to December 2018.The incidence of PVT at 1 months,3 months,and 12 months after splenectomy in patients with cirrhosis was observed.The hematological indicators,biochemical and coagulation parameters,and imaging features were recorded at baseline and at each observation point.The univariable,multivariable,receiver operating characteristic curve and timedependent curve analyses were performed.RESULTS The cumulative incidence of PVT was 40.0%,46.6%,and 48.9%at 1 months,3 months,and 12 months after splenectomy.Multivariable analysis showed that portal vein diameter(PVD)≥14.5 mm and monthsdel end-stage liver disease(MELD)score>10 were independent predictors of PVT at 1 months,3 months,and 12 months after splenectomy(P10(P10 were independent predictors of PVT at 1 months,3 months,and 12 months after splenectomy in patient with cirrhosis.
