In a computer environment,an operating system is prone to malware,and even the Linux operating system is not an *** recent years,malware has evolved,and attackers have become more qualified compared to a few years ***,Linux-based systems have become more attractive to cybercriminals because of the increasing use of the Linux operating system in web servers and Internet of Things(IoT)*** is the most employed Os,so most of the research efforts have been focused on its malware protection rather than on other operating *** a result,hundreds of research articles,documents,and methodologies dedicated to malware analysis have been ***,there has not been much literature concerning Linux security and protection from *** address all these new challenges,it is necessary to develop a methodology that can standardize the required steps to perform the malware analysis in depth.A systematic analysis process makes the difference between good and ordinary malware ***,a deep malware comprehension can yield a faster and much more efficient malware *** order to address all mentioned challenges,this article proposed a methodology for malware analysis in the Linux operating system,which is a traditionally overlooked field compared to the other operating *** proposed methodology is tested by a specific Linux malware,and the obtained test results have high effectiveness in malware detection.

Assessing the energy saving potential of using adaptive setpoint temperatures:The case study of a regional adaptive comfort model for Brazil in both the present and the future

It has been found in recent years that using setpoint temperatures based on adaptive thermal comfort models is a successful method of energy *** studies using adaptive setpoint temperatures incorporate international models from AsHRAE standard 55 and *** study,however,has instead considered a regional Brazilian adaptive comfort *** study investigates the energy demand arising from the use of a local Brazilian comfort model in order to assess the energy implications from the use of the worldwide AsHRAE standard 55 adaptive model and various fixed setpoint *** of Brazil’s climate zones,full air-conditioning,mixed-mode building operating modes,present-day climate change scenarios,and future scenarios—specifically Representative Concentration Pathways(RCP)2.6,4.5,and 8.5 for the years 2050 and 2100—have all been taken into account in building energy *** use of adaptive setpoint temperatures based on the Brazilian local model considering mixed-mode has been found to significantly reduce energy consumption when compared to static setpoint temperatures(average energy-saving values ranging from 52%to 58%)and the AsHRAE 55 adaptive model(average values ranging from 15%to 21%).Considering climate change and the mixed-mode Brazilian model,the overall energy demand for the three groups of climatic zones(annual average outdoor temperatures≤21℃,>21 and≤25℃and>25℃)ranged between 2%decrease and 5%increase,4%and 27%increase,and 13%and 45%increase,*** is concluded as a consequence that setting setpoint temperatures based on the Brazilian local adaptive comfort model is a very efficient energy-saving method.

Nuclear accidents have led to the release to the environment of radioactive isotopes,mainly radioactive cesium(Cs^(+)),contaminating large areas of soil for very long periods of time(Burger and Lichtscheidl,2018).These contaminated soils contain^(134)Cs^(+)and^(137)Cs^(+)radioisotopes that are readily accumulated into plants and that,through the food chain,are transferred to animals and humans,causing important health problems(Burger and Lichtscheidl,2018).

The Arabidopsis thaliana HAK5 K＋ Transporter Is Required for Plant Growth and K＋ Acquisition from Low K＋ solutions under saline Conditions

K＋ uptake in the high-affinity range of concentrations and its components have been widely studied. In Arabidposis thaliana, the AtHAK5 transporter and the AtAKT1 channel have been shown to be the main transport proteins involved in this process. Here, we study the role of these two systems under two important stress conditions： low K＋ supply or the presence of salinity. T-DNA insertion lines disrupting AtHAK5 and A tAKT1 are employed for long-term experi- ments that allow physiological characterization of the mutant lines. We found that AtHAK5 is required for K＋ absorption necessary to sustain plant growth at low K＋ in the absence as well as in the presence of salinity. salinity greatly reduced AtHAK5 transcript levels and promoted AtAKTl-mediated K＋ efflux, resulting in an important impairment of K＋ nutrition. Although having a limited capacity, AtHAK5 plays a major role for K＋ acquisition from low K＋ concentrations in the presence of salinity.

Low prevalence of germline hMsH6 mutations in colorectal cancer families from spain

AIM: To investigate the prevalence and penetrance of hMsH6 mutations in spanish HNPCC families that was negative for mutation in hMLH1 or ***: We used PCR-based DGGE assay and direct sequencing to screen for hMsH6 gene in 91 HNPCC ***: we have identified 10 families with germ-line mutations in the DNA sequence. These mutations included two intronic variation, three missense mutation, one nonsense mutation, and four silent mutations. Among the 10 germ-line mutations identified in the spanish cohort,8 were novel, perhaps, suggesting different mutational spectra in the spanish population. Detailed pedigrees were constructed for the three families with a possible pathogenic hMsH6 mutation. The two silent mutations H388H and L758L, detected in a person affected of colorectal cancer at age 29, produce loss of the wild-type allele in the tumor sample. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that expression of MsH6 protein was lost only in the tumors from the carriers of V878A and Q263X ***: Altogether, our results indicate that disease-causing germ-line mutations of hMsH6 are very less frequent in spanish HNPCC families.

Constructive thinking,rational intelligence and irritable bowel syndrome

AIM： To evaluate rational and experiential intelligence in irritable bowel syndrome （IBs） sufferers. METHODs： We recruited 100 subjects with IBs as per Rome 11 criteria （50 consulters and 50 non-consulters） and 100 healthy controls, matched by age, sex and educational level. Cases and controls completed a clinical questionnaire （including symptom characteristics and medical consultation） and the following tests： rational- intelligence （Wechsler Adult Intelligence scale, 3rd edition）; experiential-intelligence （Constructive Thinking Inventory）; personality （NEO personality inventory）; psychopathology （MMPI-2）, anxiety （state-trait anxiety inventory） and life events （social readjustment rating scale）. Analysis of variance was used to compare the test results of IBs-sufferers and controls, and a logistic regression model was then constructed and adjusted for age, sex and educational level to evaluate any possible association with IBs. REsULTs： No differences were found between IBs cases and controls in terms of IQ （102.0 ± 10.8 vs 102.8 ± 12.6）, but IBs sufferers scored significantly lower in global constructive thinking （43.7± 9.4 vs 49.6 ± 9.7）. In the logistic regression model, global constructive thinking score was independently linked to suffering from IBs [OR 0.92 （0.87-0.97）], without significant OR for total IQ. CONCLUsION： IBs subjects do not show lower rational intelligence than controls, but lower experiential intelligence is nevertheless associated with IBs.

Wireless capsule endoscopy: Perspectives beyond gastrointestinal bleeding

Wireless capsule endoscopy(CE) is a technology developed for the endoscopic exploration of the small bowel. The first capsule model was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2001, and its first and essential indication was occult gastrointestinal(GI) bleeding. Over subsequent years, this technology has been refined to provide superior resolution, increased battery life, and capabilities to view different parts of the GI tract. Indeed, cases for which CE proved useful have increased significantly over the last few years, with new indications for the small bowel and technical improvements that have expanded its use to other parts of the GI tract, including the esophagus and colon. The main challenges in the development of CE are new devices with the ability to provide therapy, air inflation for a better vision of the small bowel, biopsy sampling systems attached to the capsule and the possibility to guide and move the capsule with an external motion control. In this article we review the current and new indications of CE, and the evolving technological changes shaping this technology, which has a promising potential in the coming future of gastroenterology.
