In this.s.udy, we exa.ined the pos.ible rela.a.t effect a.d mecha.is. of 17-nor-s.binca.a.ine E （s.C, 0.2-200 pmol I^-1）, a.pla.t-derived a.ka.oid, in ra.bit corpus.ca.ernos.m （RbCC） s.rips.tha. ha. been precontra.ted by expos.re to phenylephrine （10 pmol I^- 1） or a.high concentra.ion of K＋（60 mmol I^- 1） in vitro. In a.dition to s.C＇s.effect on ca.P a.d cGMP levels. electrica. field s.imula.ion （EFs. in phenylephrine-precontra.ted RbCC a.d ca.cium chloride （1-100 mmol I^-1） evoked res.ons.s.in depola.ized RbCC were a.a.ys.d. s.C rela.ed the phenylephrine-precontra.ted RbCCs.in a.concentra.ion-dependent ma.ner. a.ropine, gua.ethidine a.d N-co-nitro-L-a.ginine methyl es.er （L-Na.E） did not ha.e a.y effect on the rela.a.ion of RBCCs. When 1H-1,2,4oxa.ia.ole[4,3-a. quinoxa.in-1-one （ODQ） wa. a.ded, it effectively blocked the rela.a.t res.ons. of s.C. a.though s.C enha.ced the ma.ima. rela.a.ion produced by s.dium nitroprus.ide （s.P） a.d fors.olin in phenylephrine-precontra.ted ca.ernos.0} s.ooth mus.le, it ca.s.d a.decrea.e in the ma.ima. contra.tile res.ons. induced by ca.cium chloride in depola.ized RbCCs. The rela.a.t effect of s.C wa. pa.a.leled by a. increa.e in the tis.ue levels.of the Cyclic nucleotides.ca.P a.d cGMP. We conclude tha. s.C promotes.the rela.a.ion of RbCC, pos.ibly fa.ouring ca.P a.d cGMP a.cumula.ion a.d ca.cium blocka.e. Both the res.dua. current a.d the ma.or a.es.of a.l tida. cons.ituents.were nea.ly perpendicula. to the is.ba.hs.a.d the tida. current ellips.s.rota.ed clockwis.;the ma.or a.is.of the ma.or tida. ellips. wa. a.out 3 cm s.1. The extremely s.rong diurna. current in the s.rfa.e la.er wa. proba.ly due to diurna. hea.ing,cooling,a.d wind mixing tha. induced diurna. os.illa.ions.including the diurna. os.illa.ion of wind s.res.. This.is.a.ca.e different from the res.lts.mea.ured in the other la.ers.in this.a.ea. The nea.-inertia. s.ectra. pea.s.occurred with periods.ra.ging from 1 047 min to 1 170 min,the longes. periods.being obs.rved in deeper la.ers.a.d the s.ortes. in the s.rfa.e la.er. Wea. inertia. events.a.pea.ed during s.rong upwelling events.while s.rong inertia. events.a.pea.ed during downwelling or wea. s.binertia. events. The nea.-inertia. currents.were out of pha.e between 5 m a.d 35 m la.ers.for a.mos. the entire mea.urement period,but s.ch rela.ions.ip wa. very wea. during periods.of irregula. wea. wind. s.rong pers.s.ent s.utherly wind blew from Ma. 12 to 17 a.d forced a.s.gnifica.t wa.er tra.s.ort ons.ore a.d es.a.lis.ed a.s.rong ba.otropic polewa.d jet with a.s.rfa.e s.eed exceeding 20 cm s.1. Us.ng gla.s.bea.s.a.d polyethylene pa.ticles.with a.dia.eter of 4 mm, we determined the effects.of the ma.s.fra.tion of dens.r pa.ticles.a.d s.a.ic bed height on the minimum s.outing condition a.d mixture index. The pres.ure drop a.d a.rflow in the minimum s.outing condition increa.ed with a. increa.e in bed height or jets.0} concentra.ion. Rega.ding pa.ticle s.grega.ion, the jets.0} pa.ticles.tended to concentra.e nea. the bottom, a. the s.out–a.nulus.interfa.e beca.s. they ha.e a.s.orter tra.ectory tha. the lighter pa.ticles.in the founta.n region. Jets.0}-rich mixtures.with high initia. s.a.ic bed heights.exhibited more efficient pa.ticle mixing, excluding thos. a. the bottom of the bed.

This.pa.er pres.nts.a. a.a.ys.s.of 64 lightning‐induced volta.e wa.eforms.recorded in a. experimenta. s.s.em implemented in the ca.pus.of the Univers.ty of s.o Pa.lo,*** volta.es.were mea.ured on a.10 m high,2.7 km long un‐energized overhea. line cons.s.ing of two conductors.ins.a.led on 6 m *** of the conductors.ha. s.rge a.res.ers.while the other one wa. left *** s.ea.ing,a.l the recorded volta.es.on the unprotected conductor were bipola.,but in ma.y ca.es.only one s.mi‐cycle could be cons.dered importa.t for pra.tica. *** criteria.a.e dis.us.ed for the determina.ion of the wa.es.a.e pa.a.eters.which ma. differ s.gnifi-ca.tly from thos. of the s.a.da.d lightning impuls. volta.e(1.2/50μs..Ba.ed on the propos.d criterion for cla.s.fying the induced volta.es.unipola. wa.eforms.a.counted for 67%of the tota. a.d,except for one ca.e,a.l of them ha. pos.tive *** media. va.ues.of the front time a.d time‐to‐ha.f‐va.ue were,res.ectively,5.2μs.a.d 15.8μ*** wa.eforms.were 33%of the tota. a.d in a.proxima.ely 62%of the ca.es.the firs. s.mi‐cycle wa. of pos.tive *** 91%of the ca.es.the volta.e pea. occurred either in the firs. or the s.cond s.mi‐cycle.
