Discrimination among grapevine varieties based on quantitative traits,such as flowering,veraison and ripening dates is crucial for variety selection in the context of climate change and in breeding *** traits are under complex genetic control for which 6 linked SSR loci(VVS2,VVIn16,VMC7G3,VrZAG29,VMC5G7,and VVIB23)have been *** these markers in HRM-PCR analysis,we assessed genetic diversity among a large collection of 192 grapevine *** grapevine germplasm used encompasses the majority of Greek vineyard with 181 varieties,3 prominent foreign varieties and 11 varieties of Palestinian *** SSR markers used were highly polymorphic,displaying unique melting curves for unusually higher number of samples than generally observed in SSR *** prompted us to examine sequence composition for selected samples and found that variation present as SNPs in the flanking sequences of SSR motifs was responsible for the observed ***,HRM-PCR proved to be a tool of higher analytical power to distinguish genotypes surpassing the discrimination power of conventional gel-based SSR *** study provides a better understanding of genetic variation of SSR marker loci associated to phenological traits in grapevine varieties,signifying an analytical methodology that may be of higher discrimination power in detection of polymorphism for utilization in breeding programs.

The sweetpotato whitefly Bemisia tabaci（Hemiptera：Aleyrodidae）is an extremely polyphagous insect pest that causes significant crop losses in Israel and *** is a species complex of which the B and Q biotypes are the most widespread and damaging *** change in biotype composition and resistance to insecticide in Israel was monitored during the years 2008-2010 to identify patterns in population dynamics that can be correlated with resistance *** results show that B biotype populations dominate crops grown in open fields,while Q biotype populations gradually dominate crops grown in protected conditions such as greenhouses and nethouses,where resistance outbreaks usually develop after several insecticide *** in previous years,Q biotype populations were widely detected in many regions in Israel,significant domination of the B biotype across populations collected was observed during the year 2010,indicating the instability of the *** population from one year to *** for the changing dynamics and the shift in the relative abundance of *** biotype,and their resistance status,are discussed.

Curcumin,an active ingredient of dietary spice used in curry,has been shown to exhibit anti-oxidant,anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative *** EB directed differentiation protocol of H-9 human em-bryonic stem(ES)cells;we evaluated the effect of cur-cumin(0-20μmol/L)in enhancing such *** results using real time PCR,western blotting and immunostaining demonstrated that curcumin signifi-cantly increased the gene expression and protein levels of cardiac specific transcription factor NKx2.5,cardiac troponin I,myosin heavy chain,and endothelial nitric oxide synthase during ES cell ***-more,an NO donor enhanced the curcumin-mediated induction of NKx2.5 and other cardiac specific *** of cells with curcumin led to a dose depend-ent increase in intracellular nitrite to the same extent as giving an authentic NO *** assay for second messenger(s)cyclic AMP(cAMP)and cyclic GMP(cGMP)revealed that continuous presence of cur-cumin in differentiated cells induced a decrease in the baseline levels of cAMP but it significantly elevated baseline contents of *** addition to a cell free assay significantly suppressed cAMP and cGMP degradation in the extracts while long term treatment of intact cells with curcumin increased the rates of cAMP and cGMP degradation suggesting that this might be due to direct suppression of some cyclic nucleo-tide-degrading enzyme(phosphodiesterase)by *** studies demonstrate that polyphenol curcu-min may be involved in differentiation of ES cells partly due to manipulation of nitric oxide signaling.

In recent years, the potential of renewable green energy sources has been extensively studied. The proven technology which is photovoltaic solar cells strictly depends on daylight and produces low-efficiently. To overcome the restrictions, one technology studied is through harvesting the thermal radiation energy which can provide a 24-hour energy source. The continuity of energy sources promises very good energy conversion especially for military applications. This article presents a new structure that can harvest the abundant thermal radiation energy into usable energy at the wavelength of l0 lum. A rectangular structure with a perturbation slit was designed to integrate with a rectifier circuit for green energy conversion. The slit tunnel junction guided the electromagnetic field into a junction where the energy could be collected and converted. An enhancement factor of approximately 110.6 can be achieved by a perturbation slit length of 1.0 μm. The results extracted from the proposed design promise a better candidate to overcome the disadvantages of photovoltaic solar cells for energy harvesting devices.

Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)models succeed in vast *** are available in a variety of topologies and *** challenge in this area is to develop the optimal CNN architecture for a particular issue in order to achieve high results by using minimal computational resources to train the *** proposed framework to automated design is aimed at resolving this *** proposed framework is focused on a genetic algorithm that develops a population of CNN models in order to find the architecture that is the best *** comparison to the co-authored work,our proposed framework is concerned with creating lightweight architectures with a limited number of parameters while retaining a high degree of validity accuracy utilizing an ensemble learning *** architecture is intended to operate on low-resource machines,rendering it ideal for implementation in a number of *** common benchmark image datasets are used to test the proposed framework,and it is compared to peer competitors’work utilizing a range of parameters,including accuracy,the number of model parameters used,the number of GPUs used,and the number of GPU days needed to complete the *** experimental findings demonstrated a significant advantage in terms of GPU days,accuracy,and the number of parameters in the discovered model.

由于维护简单和发射快速,弹道导弹多用固体火箭发动机,但繁杂的推力终止装置使各级装药不能耗尽并让结构增重。提出了一种对基于耗尽关机多级固体火箭概念设计的改进方法,此方法满足导弹系统主要的战技要求。为解决无推力终止装置的末速不准问题,可在末级发动机采用姿态调整装置,对射角进行调整,配合末速以满足射程要求。本方法还可抑制敌方反导探测。

Synthesis of silver and gold nanoparticles from leaf of Litchi chinensis and its biological activities

Objective: To synthesize and isolate silver and gold nanoparticles from Litchi chinensis leaf methanolic extract, and to evaluate its comparative biological activities including muscles relaxant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antidiarrheal. Methods: The gold and silver nanoparticles were synthesized by dissolving methanolic extract in gold chloride and silver nitrate solution separately which were confirmed by colour change and UV-Vis spectroscopy, and pellets were collected through centrifugation. Biological activities of the extract were conducted on BALB/c mice through various standard methods and the data were subjected to One-way ANOVA. Results: The colorless gold chloride solution changed to purple soon after the addition of plant extract, demonstrating that the reaction took place and gold ions were reduced to gold nanoparticles, while colorless silver nitrate solution changed to light and dark brown that was indicative of silver nanoparticles. The muscles relaxant activity showed that silver nanoparticles were more effective than gold nanoparticles and methanolic extract in traction test. The analgesic activity showed that silver and gold nanoparticles showed highest percentage decrease in acetic acid induced writhing at the doses of 50, 100 and 150 mg/kg b.w. The highest anti-inflammatory activity was produced by gold nanoparticles followed by silver nanoparticles, while low activity was observed in methanolic leaf extract. Only the crude methanolic extract showed significant antidiarrheal activity as compared to the standard drug atropine sulphate, while antidiarrheal activities of gold and silver nanoparticles were non-significant. Conclusions: The present work concludes that isolated silver and gold nanoparticles from leaf methanolic extract shows strong muscles relaxant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities while crude methanolic extract possesses good antidiarrheal activity.

目的:他汀类药物在治疗骨质疏松症时会加重肌肉损伤。本实验研究左卡尼汀和辅酶Q10对阿托伐他汀在切除卵巢的老鼠的抗骨质疏松作用的影响。创新点:研究新的治疗骨质疏松症及其并发症的方法。方法:选取48只雌性SD大鼠,40只大鼠切除卵巢,8只为假手术组。切除卵巢8周后,大鼠被分成去卵巢非治疗组和4个去卵巢治疗组(每组8只),通过灌胃法给药(单位为mg/(kg·d),为期8周):雌二醇(0.1)、阿托伐他汀(50)、阿托伐他汀(50)+左卡尼汀(100)或阿托伐他汀(50)+辅酶Q10(20)。在治疗结束时,测量骨矿物质密度、骨矿物质含量及骨代谢标志物和肌酸激酶的血清水平,利用股骨研究抗断强度和组织病理学变化。结论:相比辅酶Q10,合并给药左卡尼汀可在提高阿托伐他汀对切除卵巢的老鼠的抗骨质疏松作用的同时避免肌肉损伤。
