The laminar flow structure and mixing performance of T-shaped and double-T-shaped micromixers with rectangular cross-section have been investigated using computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulation. FLUENT software is used to evaluate the mixing efficiency. The numerical simulation results show that the presented double-T-micromixer is highly efficient over T-shaped micromixer. The performance of double-T-micromixer with and without static mixing elements (SmE) is also investigated. The enhancement in mixing performance is thought to be caused by the generation of eddies and lateral velocity component when the mixture flows through these elements. mixing efficiency as higher as 97% is reached within a mixing length of 320 μm downstream from the first T-junction with the enhancement of three SmEs.

Structural color printings have broad applications due to their advantages of long-term sustainability,eco-friendly manufacturing,and ultra-high ***,most of them require costly and time-consuming fabrication processes from nanolithography to vacuum deposition and ***,we demonstrate a new color printing technology based on polymer-assisted photochemical metal deposition(PPD),a room temperature,ambient,and additive manufacturing process without requiring heating,vacuum deposition or *** PPD-printed silver films comprise densely aggregated silver nanoparticles filled with a small amount(estimatedme)of polymers,producing a smooth surface(roughness 2.5 nm)even better than vacuum-deposited silver films(roughness 2.8 nm)at~4 nm ***,the printed composite films have a much larger effective refractive index n(~1.90)and a smaller extinction coefficient k(~0.92)than PVD ones in the visible wavelength range(400 to 800 nm),therefore modulating the surface reflection and the phase *** capability of PPD in printing both ultra-thin(~5 nm)composite films and highly reflective thicker film greatly benefit the design and construction of multilayered Fabry–Perot(FP)cavity structures to exhibit vivid and saturated *** demonstrated programmed printing of complex pictures of different color schemes at a high spatial resolution of~6.5μm by three-dimensionally modulating the top composite film geometries and dielectric spacer thicknesses(75 to 200 nm).Finally,PPD-based color picture printing is demonstrated on a wide range of substrates,including glass,PDmS,and plastic,proving its broad potential in future applications from security labeling to color displays.

The objective of the present experimental work is to investigate the performance of a wrapped screen heat pipe for atmospheric air heating to compare with the limits of this pipe. The experiment was conducted using copper pipe material and acetone as working fluid at different vapor temperatures. The testing also consists of a heater, a blower for heat removal (condenser), temperature measuring device, a vapor temperature probe, acetone charging system, and a vacuum pump. The copper outside diameterof the pipe is 0.022 m, with a total length of 0.6 m. The results showed that the pipe wall temperature (Tw) for a wrapped screen heat pipe has a rapid increase and takes 50 min to reach steady state at (Q = 63 W). The vapour temperature of working fluid increases as the heat load increases at constant air velocity. It was also been found that the range of vapour temperature deceases as the filling ratio increases that means the increasing of the filling ratio results the decrease of the maximum vapour temperature and the variation in the vapour temperature. The best recorded filling ratio is 0.6 which has the lowest vapour temperature at highest heat load. The maximum heat transport limit for this pipe is 80 W and the maximum temperature difference for air is 5。C.

Quantum field theory can be understood through gauge theories. It is already established that the gauge theories can be studied either perturbatively or non-perturbatively. Perturbative means using Feynman diagrams and non-perturbative means using Path-integral method. Operator regularization (OR) is one of the exceptional methods to study gauge theories because of its two-fold prescriptions. That means in OR two types of prescriptions have been introduced, which gives us the opportunity to check the result in self consistent way. In an earlier paper, we have evaluated basic QED loop diagrams in (3 + 1) dimensions using the both methods of OR and Dimensional regularization (DR). Then all three results have been compared. It is seen that the finite part of the result is almost same. In this paper, we are interested to evaluate the same basic loop diagrams in (2 + 1) space-time dimensions, because of two reasons: the main reason in (2 + 1) space-time dimensions, these loops diagrams are finite, on other hand, there are divergences in (3 + 1) space-time dimensions and the other reason is to see validity of using OR to evaluate Feynman loop diagrams in all dimensions. Here we have used both prescriptions of OR and DR to evaluate the basic loop diagrams and compared the results. Interestingly the results are almost same in all cases.

Background： Removal of the follicular content by ultrasound-guided transvaginal follicle aspiration（TVFA） may fail to induce immediate atresia and loss of function, resulting in the occurrence of residual follicles（RF）. The aims of this study were to characterize the blood flow in RF and to determine the effects of the treatment with estradiol benzoate on RF fate. Lactating, cyclic Holstein-Gir crossbred cows were used. In Experiment 1, follicular wave emergence（D0） was synchronized in cows（n = 10） and follicular growth was then monitored by transrectal ultrasonography from D0 to D8, followed by TVFA of the largest follicle present on the ovaries 24 h later. Color Doppler ultrasound imaging was used to examine blood flow on the follicular wall, which was recorded immediately before and every 12 h after TVFA, up to 72 h. In experiment 2, cows（n = 22） were randomly allocated to receive either 2 mL of saline i.m.（Control group, n = 11） or 2 mL estradiol benzoate i.m.（EB group, n = 11）immediately after TVFA. Ovaries were scanned every 12 h to confirm the presence and to measure the diameter of RF. The contents of the RF, if present, were collected 72 h after the first TVFA, using the same aspiration *** fluid from original follicles and RF were stored at-20 °C until hormonal ***： In Experiment 1, there was no reduction（P 〉 0.05） of blood flow in the remaining follicle walls after TVFA and maximum blood flow values were observed at 49.5 ± 19.7 h post-TVFA. In Experiment 2, formation of RF after TVFA was proportionally similar between Controls（5/9） and EB（5/10） cows. Also, RF diameter did not differ between groups（P 〉 0.05）.
