Upgrading mechanical-dielectric features of ferrites through rare-earth yttrium(Y^(3+))doping provides feasibility to evolving high-frequency electronic *** paper reports the mechanical and dielectric properties of Co_(0.5)Cu_(0.25)Zn_(0.25)Y_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)ferrite nanoparticles labeled as CCZYF#0,CCZYF#1,CCZYF#2,CCZYF#3,CCZYF#4 and CCZYF#5 for x=0.***.0.02,0.04,0.06,0.08,and 0.1,*** frequency and temperature dependence of dielectric parameters and co nductivity of all CCZYF nanoferrites are well *** nanoferrite CCZYF#5 has the highest dielectric constant(enhancing ratio 170%)and the highest conductivity(enhancing ratio 7125.81%)compared with the undoped *** plots of all CCZYF nano ferrites manifest two arcs;the main reasons for the dielectric process are the grain boundaries and bulk *** impedance parameters were determined,which showed the effective role of Y^(3+)ions on their *** nanoferrite CCZYF#5 has the highest grain boundaries capacitance(with enhancing ratio of 59.40%)and the highest grains capacitance(with enhancing ratio of 22.53%)with a relaxation time decrement efficiency of 62.51%.An ultrasonic flaw detector was utilized to determine the elastic moduli of all CCZYF *** nanoferrite CCZYF#5 has the highest longitudinal modulus(with enhancing ratio of 20.95%),the highest shear modulus(with enhancing ratio of48.72%),highest Young's modulus(with enhancing ratio of 88.47%),the highest bulk modulus(with enhancing ratio 13.27%)and the highest micro hardness(with enhancing ratio 77.77%).Hence,Y3+tuned Co-Cu-Zn nanoferrites possess new opportunities for high-frequency and storage applications.

Antibacterial effect and physicochemical properties of essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss

ObjectiveTo evaluate the antibacterial effect and physicochemical properties of essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss.MethodsAntibacterial activity of essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss was assessed by agar disc diffusion and minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) was tested by E test.ResultsThe essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss was effective on pathogenic bacteria particularly Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). The MIC values of the target cultures ranged from 0.39 mg/mL to 1.56 mg/mL. The physicochemical properties like effects of pH, temperature, detergents, and enzymes on the activity of essential oil from Zataria multiflora Boiss were also determined. The essential oil was quite stable to temperature as tested against S. aureus and Escherichia coli (E. coli). The essential oil was very stable over a wide range of pH. The antibacterial activity of essential oil was insensitive to various protein-denaturing detergents (Such as Tween 80, Tween 20, Triton 100, etc.) and enzymes (namely proteinase K, trypsin, lipase, and lysosyme).ConclusionsA potential use of the essential oil from Zataria multiflora Boiss is suggested. More studies including further purification, mass spectra, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and evaluation of toxicity are needed for confirmation of this suggestion.

Depositional environments and sequence stratigraphy of the Bahram Formation(middleelate Devonian) in north of Kerman, south-central Iran

This study is focused on sedimentary environments, facies distribution, and sequence stratigraphy. The facies and sequence stratigraphic analyses of the Bahram Formation（middleelate Devonian） in southcentral Iran are based on two measured stratigraphic sections in the southern Tabas block. The Bahram Formation overlies red sandstones Padeha Formation in sections Hutk and Sardar and is overlain by Carboniferous carbonate deposits of Hutk Formation paraconformably, with a thickness of 354 and386 m respectively. Mixed siliciclastic and carbonate sediments are present in this succession. The field observations and laboratory studies were used to identify 14 micro/petrofacies, which can be grouped into 5 depositional environments： shore, tidal flat, lagoon, shoal and shallow open marine. A mixed carbonate-detrital shallow shelf is suggested for the depositional environment of the Bahram Formation which deepens to the east（Sardar section） and thins in southern locations（Hutk section）. Three 3rdorder cyclic siliciclastic and carbonate sequences in the Bahram Formation and one sequence shared with the overlying joint with Hutk Formation are identified, on the basis of shallowing upward patterns in the micro/pertofacies.

昆虫体内共生菌可通过多种方式对寄主生物学及生理学产生影响,根据共生菌在昆虫体内存在的部位可将其分为内共生菌与外共生菌,它们以共生、寄生或病原菌的形式与寄主建立联系。大头金蝇Chrysoma megacephala(双翅目:丽蝇科)是一种全球范围内分布的昆虫,也是法医昆虫学中最常见的丽蝇科昆虫之一。近年来,大头金蝇幼虫被广泛应用于作物秸秆和有机废弃物的转化,其成虫可对植物进行授粉,作为授粉昆虫。为满足自身卵子发生及幼虫生长发育的营养需求,大头金蝇需在脊椎动物伤口、尸体、花瓣及粪便上取食,在这种复杂的取食环境中,其体内共生菌发挥着重要作用。大头金蝇肠道共生物种类丰富,对于维持寄主适合度必不可少,然而,其肠道共生物的多样性以及共生物对宿主代谢和繁殖的影响尚不清楚。在本研究中,我们利用16S rRNA高通量测序技术(Illumina MiSeq technology)对大头金蝇不同发育阶段相关细菌的菌群组成及多样性进行了分析;对大头金蝇幼虫肠道共生物进行了分离鉴定,筛选到几株纤维素降解菌,评估了纤维素酶活;将分离的共生菌添加到大头金蝇饲料中,研究其对寄主适合度的影响。主要结果如下:1.利用高通量测序技术研究大头金蝇肠道细菌多样性利用高通量测序技术(MiSeq technique),对大头金蝇雌成虫、卵、发育6h的初孵幼虫、发育72h的幼虫、鸡肉(大头金蝇产卵基质)共生菌菌群结构及组成进行分析。测序共获得423个OTU,其中51个OUT在各样品中均存在,测序结果共注释了 15个门,28个纲,74个目,138个科,260个属的细菌类群。其中,变形菌门、厚壁菌门、放线菌门及拟杆菌门细菌在各样品中均存在。沃尔巴克氏体Wolbachia、漫游球菌Vagococcus、葡萄球菌Staphlyococcus是样品中优势菌群,这些共生菌可能对大头金蝇卵子发生及幼虫的发育具有重要作用。2.大头金蝇肠道共生菌的分离与鉴定采用连续稀释平板计数法对大头金蝇肠道可培养共生菌进行分离,并对分离的细菌进行16s rRNA基因测序,结合NCBI-Blast工具对其进行鉴定。结果显示,大头金蝇幼虫肠道菌群多样性丰富,变形菌门、拟杆菌门和厚壁菌门细菌是大头金蝇不同发育阶段的优势菌群,变形菌门细菌在各发育阶段中含量最多。变形杆菌属细菌是一龄幼虫及三龄幼虫肠道优势菌,占比分别高达25%、30%,假单胞菌是二龄幼虫肠道优势菌(21%)。共生菌对幼虫发育及寄主生物学具有重要作用,后续对分离到的8种共生菌进行深入研究,以期利用益生菌促进大头金蝇的大量饲养。3.大头金蝇肠道内纤维素降解菌的分离及功能验证为了研究在富含纤维素的麦麸饲料中肠道细菌对幼虫存活率的影响,我们利用羧甲基纤维素钠(CMC)培养基从大头金蝇幼虫体内分离纤维素降解菌。基于细菌形态学分析及16S rRNA分子鉴定,分离到10株细菌,分别属于假单胞菌属Pseudomonas、不动杆菌属Acinetobacter、无色杆菌属Achrcmobacter和产碱菌属Alcaligenes细菌。通过测量菌落及纤维素降解圈直径对分离到的细菌纤维素降解能力进行评估。结果表明:(1)荧光假单胞菌Pseudomonas fluorescens及浅黄色假单胞菌Pseudomonas lurida在CMC培养基上长势最好,菌落直径均大于8mm;(2)对不同细菌的纤维素降解圈大小进行比较,其中浅黄色假单胞菌、解蛋白不动杆菌Acinetobacter proteolyticus、猴假单胞菌Pseudomonas simiae所产生的纤维素降解圈直径依次为19.97 mm、6.97 mm、5.88 mm,浅黄色假单胞菌的降解圈与菌落直径比值(D/d)最大(2.46);(3)猴假单胞菌纤维素酶活最高。浅黄色假单胞菌、解蛋白不动杆菌及猴假单胞菌可能具备纤维素降解能力,提高幼虫在富含纤维素培养基上的存活率。4.大头金蝇肠道益生菌对寄主适合度的影响对上述自大头金蝇肠道内分离得到的8种细菌进行富集培养,待其吸光度值(OD600)为0.5时进行饲料添加试验。试验设置三组处理:共生菌组(正常幼虫饲喂含菌饲料)、无菌组(抗生素处理后的幼虫饲喂含菌饲料)及对照组(正常幼虫饲喂常规饲料),饲喂5天后幼虫均已化蛹,随后将蛹转移至无菌沙子内待其羽化。试验记录大头金蝇不同发育阶段发育历期、幼虫存活率及蛹重。结果显示:(1)各处理组的幼虫发育历期无显著差异;(2)与无菌组及对照组相比,共生菌可促进幼虫发育,提高幼虫存活率;共生菌组幼虫存活率为73%,蛹羽化率为91%;无菌组分别为60%,83%,而对照组为70%,76%;(3)蛹的干重数据与幼虫存活率趋势相似。上述研究为益生菌在大头金蝇大规模饲养技术中的应用奠定了基础。总之,本文通过高通量测序表明沃尔巴克氏体、漫游球菌和葡萄

Suppository naproxen reduces incidence and severity of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography pancreatitis: Randomized controlled trial

AIM: To determine the efficacy of rectally administered naproxen for the prevention of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) pancreatitis (PEP).METHODS: This double-blind randomized control trial conducted from January 2013 to April 2014 at the Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases Research Center in Rasht, Iran. A total of 324 patients were selected from candidates for diagnostic or therapeutic ERCP by using the simple sampling method. Patients received a single dose of Naproxen (500 mg; n = 162) or a placebo (n = 162) per rectum immediately before ERCP. The overall incidence of PEP, incidence of mild to severe PEP, serum amylase levels and adverse effects were measured. The primary outcome measure was the development of pancreatitis onset of pain in the upper abdomen and elevation of the serum amylase level to > 3 × the upper normal limit (60-100 IU/L) within 24 h after ERCP. The severity of PEP was classified according to the duration of therapeutic intervention for PEP: mild, 2-3 d; moderate 4-10 d; and severe, > 10 d and/or necessitated surgical or intensive treatment, or contributed to ***: PEP occurred in 12% (40/324) of participants, and was significantly more frequent in the placebo group compared to the naproxen group (P < 0.01). Of the participants, 25.9% (84/324) developed hyperamylasemia within 2 h of procedure completion, among whom only 35 cases belonged to the naproxen group (P < 0.01). The incidence of PEP was significantly higher in female sex, in patients receiving pancreatic duct injection, more than 3 times pancreatic duct cannulations, and ERCP duration more than 40 min (Ps < 0.01). There were no statistically significant differences between the groups regarding the procedures or factors that might increase the risk of PEP, sphincterotomy, precut requirement, biliary duct injection and number of pancreatic duct cannulations. The commercial greenhouse is one of the most effective cultivation methods with a yield per cultivated area up to 10 times more than free land cultivation but the use of fossil fuels in this production field is very *** objectives of this paper are to modeling and experimental evaluation of heat and mass transfer functions in an innovative solar greenhouse with thermal *** this propose,a semi-solar greenhouse was designed and constructed at the North-West of Iran in Azerbaijan Province(38100N and 46180E with elevation of 1364 m above the sea level).The inside environment factors include inside air temperature below screen(Ta),inside air temperature above screen(Tas),crop temperature(Tc),inside soil temperature(Ts),cover temperature(Tri)and thermal screen temperature(Tsc)were collected as the experimental data *** dynamic heat and mass transfer model used to estimate the temperature in six different points of the semi-solar greenhouse with initial values and consider the crop *** results showed that dynamic model can predict the inside temperatures in four different points(Ta,Tc,Tri,Ts)with MAPE,RMSE and EF about 5-7%,1-2℃ and 80-91%for greenhouse without thermal screen and about 3-7%,0.6-1.8C and 89-96%for six different points of greenhouse with thermal screen(Ta,Tc,Tri,Ts,Tas,Tsc),*** results of using thermal screen at night(12 h)in autumn showed that this method can decrease the use of fossil fuels up to 58%and so decrease the final cost and air *** movable insulation caused about 15℃ difference between outside and inside air temperature and also made about 6℃ difference between Ta and *** experimental results showed that inside thermal screen can decrease the crop temperature fluctuation at night.

Polyphenolic content and antioxidant activity of some wild Saudi Arabian asteraceae plants

Objective:To study the antioxidant properties of crude extract of different Asteraceae ***:The antioxidant properties of six extracts were evaluated using different antioxidant tests,including free radical scavenging,reducing power,metal chelation,superoxide anion radical scavenging,total antioxidant capacity and inhibition of lipid peroxidation ***:Picris cyanocarpa(***)and Anthemis deserti(***)had powerful antioxidant properties as radical scavenger,reducing agent and superoxide anion radical scavenger while Achillia fragrantissima(***)and Artemissia monosperma(***)were the most efficient as ion chelator(100%at 100,200 and 400μg/mL)*** and Rhanlarium appoposum(***.)showed 100%inhibition on peroxidation of linoleic acid emulsion at 200 and 400μg/mL,while butylatedhydroxy toluene and ascorinc acid showed 100and 95%inhibition percentage at 400μg/mL,*** various antioxidant activities were compared to standard antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyl toluene and ascorbic ***:In most tests *** and *** had powerful antioxidant properties as radical scavenger,reducing agent and superoxide anion radical scavenger.
