We discuss a quantum remote state preparation protocol by which two parties, Alice and Candy, prepare a single-qubit and a two-qubit state, respectively, at the site of the receiver Bob. The single-qubit state is known to Alice while the two-qubit state which is a non-maximally entangled Bell state is known to Candy. The three parties are connected through a single entangled state which acts as a quantum channel. We first describe the protocol in the ideal case when the entangled channel under use is in a pure state. After that, we consider the effect of amplitude damping(AD) noise on the quantum channel and describe the protocol executed through the noisy channel. The decrement of the fidelity is shown to occur with the increment in the noise parameter. This is shown by numerical computation in specific examples of the states to be created. Finally, we show that it is possible to maintain the label of fidelity to some extent and hence to decrease the effect of noise by the application of weak and reversal measurements. We also present a scheme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled resource which we require as a quantum channel. The generation scheme is run on the IBMQ platform.

Application of Response Surface Methodology for Analysing and Optimizing the Finned Solar Air Heater

In this research paper,a solar air heater with triangular fins has been experimentally analysed and optimized.Initially,an experimental set-up of a solar air heater having triangular fins has been developed at the location of 28.10°N,78.23°E.The heat transfer rate through fins and fins efficiency has been determined by the Finite Difference Method model equations.The experimental data and modeled data of response parameters have been optimized in MINITAB-17 software by the Response Surface Methodology tool.For creating the response surface design,three input parameters have been selected namely solar intensity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height ratio.The range of solar intensity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height ratio is 600 to 1000W/m^(2),4000 to 6000,and 0.4 to 0.8 respectively.The response surface design has been analyzed by calculating the outlet temperature,friction factor,Nusselt number,fin efficiency,thermal performance factor,and exergy efficiency.The optimum settings of input parameters:solar intensity is 1000 W/m^(2);Reynolds number is 4969.7,and the fin base to height ratio is 0.6060,on which these response:namely outlet temperature of 92.531℃,friction factor of 0.2350,Nusselt number of 127.761,thermal efficiency of 50.836%,thermal performance factor of 1.4947,and exergy efficiency of 8.762%.

The process of turning forest area into land is known as deforestation or forest degradation. Reforestation as a fraction of deforestation is extremely low. For improved qualitative and quantitative classification, we used Sentinel-1 dataset of State of Para, Brazil to precisely and closely monitor deforestation between June 2019 and June 2023. This research aimed to find out suitable model for classification called Satellite Imaging analysis by Transpose deep neural transformation network (SIT-net) using mathematical model based on Band math approach to classify deforestation applying transpose deep neural network. The main advantage of proposed model is easy to handle SAR images. The study concludes that SAR satellite gives high-resolution images to improve deforestation monitoring and proposed model takes less computational time compared to other techniques.

BACKGROUND Pulmonary embolism(PE)requires a high degree of clinical suspicion for its diagnosis and can mimic pneumonia due to its clinical,radiological,and laboratory findings.Co-existence of PE and pneumonia can also occur,which is surprisingly more common than appreciated.CASE SUMMARY Here,we report a case of a young male who initially presented during the peak of the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic with features of pneumonia.He was kept under observation and was later diagnosed and treated for a right main pulmonary artery embolism without any identifiable source of thrombosis.CONCLUSION PE and pneumonia share common clinical,radiological,and laboratory findings that may delay the diagnosis of PE.Hypoxia disproportionate to the extent of radiological involvement could be an indicator of an underlying PE.

Background: Following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), delirium emerges as a prevalent complication. This study aimed to assess the correlation between elevated serum cortisol levels and the occurrence of postoperative delirium subsequent to off-pump CABG. Methods: Conducted in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at BSMMU from October 2020 to September 2022, this comparative cross-sectional study included a total of 44 participants. Subjects, meeting specific criteria, were purposefully assigned to two groups based on off-pump CABG. Group A (n = 22) consisted of patients with normal serum cortisol levels, while Group B (n = 22) comprised individuals with high serum cortisol levels on the first postoperative day. Delirium onset was assessed at the bedside in the ICU on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th postoperative days using standard tools, namely the Richmond Agitation Sedation score (RASS) and The Confusion Assessment Method (CAM-ICU). Data were collected based on the presence or absence of delirium. Statistical analysis utilized SPSS version 26.0, employing an independent Student’s t-test for continuous data and chi-square and Fischer’s exact test for categorical data. A p-value ≤ 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Group-A had a mean age of 54.50 ± 17.97, and Group-B had a mean age of 55.22 ± 15.45, both with a male predominance (81.81% and 86.36% respectively). The mean serum cortisol level was significantly higher in Group B (829.71 ± vs. 389.98 ± 68.77). Postoperative delirium occurred in 27.3% of Group B patients, statistically significant compared to the 4.5% in Group A. However, patients in Group B who developed delirium experienced significantly longer postoperative ICU and hospital stays (79.29 ± 12.27 vs. 11.44 ± 2.85, p ≤ 0.05). There was one mortality in Group B, which was statistically not significant. Cloud computing has gained widespread popularity over the last decade.Scheduling problem in cloud computing is prejudiced due to enormous demands of cloud users.Meta-heuristic techniques in cloud computing have exhibited high performance in comparison to traditional scheduling algorithms.This paper presents a novel hybrid Nesterov Accelerated Gradient-based Cuckoo Search Algorithm(NAGCSA)to address the scheduling issue in cloud computing.Nesterov Accelerated Gradient can address trapping at local minima in CSA by updating the position using future approximation.The local search in the proposed algorithm is performed by using Nesterov Accelerated Gradient,while the global search is performed by using levy flights.The amalgamation of NAG and CSA helps in cost reduction and time-saving for users.The simulation has been carried out on the CloudSim tool on three different real datasets;NASA,HPC2N,and SDSC.The results of the proposed hybrid algorithm have been compared with state-of-art scheduling algorithms(GA,PSO,and CSA),and statistical significance is carried on mean,standard deviation,and best for each algorithm.It has been established that the proposed algorithm minimizes the execution cost and makespan,hence enhancing the quality of service for users.

This paper proposes an improved sine-cosine algorithm(ISCA)based 2-DOF-PID controller for load frequency control.A three-area test system is built for study,while some physical constraints(nonlinearities)are considered for the investigation of a realistic power system.The proposed method is used as the parameter optimizer of the LFC control-ler in different scenarios.The 2-DOF-PID controllers are used because of their capability of fast disturbance rejection without significant increase of overshoot in set-point tracking.The 2-DOF-PID controllers’efficacy is observed by examining the responses with the outcomes obtained with PID and FOPID controllers.The simulation results with the suggested scheme are correlated with some of the existing algorithms,such as SCA,SSA,ALO,and PSO in three dif-ferent scenarios,i.e.,a disturbance in two areas,in three areas,and in the presence of physical constraints.In addition,the study is extended to a four-area power system.Statistical analysis is performed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test(WSRT)on 20 independent runs.This confirms the supremacy of the proposed method.

A three phase grid tied solar photovoltaic(PV)system with power quality compensation features is presented in this paper.This system is used to transfer power generated from a solar PV array to feed linear and nonlinear loads along with compensation for several power quality(PQ)issues,such as harmonics,redundant reactive power and load unbalancing.The generated DC power from the PV array is converted into AC by implementing a three-phase voltage source converter(VSC).In order to transfer active power and mitigate PQ problems,an efficient control technique is required for the grid tied solar PV system.This study presents the use of an adaptive generalized maximum Versoria criterion(AGMVC)controller for VSC used in a solar PV energy conversion system.Efficient utilization of the solar PV array is accomplished by using the Perturb and Observe based maximum power point tracking(MPPT)algorithm.The experimental setup of the grid integrated PV system is implemented in the laboratory using an IGBT based VSC and DSP(dSPACE DS-1202).The performance of the AGMVC control technique is verified experimentally using laboratory prototype.This control technique is compared with different conventional controllers,such as synchronous reference frame theory(SRFT)and instantaneous reactive power theory(IRPT)along with recently developed weight-based controllers viz.,least mean square(LMS),least mean mixed norm(LMMN)and normalized kernel least mean fourth-neural network(NKLMFNN).Numerous terms,such as fundamental weight convergence,steady state error,computational complexity,phase lock loop(PLL)requirement and harmonic compensation capability,are considered for comparison purposes of AGMVC with the above listed control techniques.The system performance is verified according to the IEEE-519 standard.

This article introduces the computational analytical approach to solve the m-dimensional space-time variable Caputo fractional order advection–dispersion equation with the Dirichlet boundary using the two-step Adomian decomposition method and obtain the exact solution in just one iteration.Moreover,with the help of fixed point theory,we study the existence and uniqueness conditions for the positive solution and prove some new results.Also,obtain the Ulam–Hyers stabilities for the proposed problem.Two gen-eralized examples are considered to show the method’s applicability and compared with other existing numerical methods.The present method performs exceptionally well in terms of efficiency and simplicity.Further,we solved both examples using the two most well-known numerical methods and compared them with the TSADM solution.
