The density based notion for clustering approach is used widely due to its easy implementation and ability to detect arbitrary shaped clusters in the presence of noisy data points without requiring prior k.owledge of the number of clusters to be identified. Density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise （DBSCAN） is the first algorithm proposed in the literature that uses density based notion for cluster detection. Since most of the real data set, today contains feature space of adjacent nested clusters, clearly DBSCAN is not suitable to detect variable adjacent density clusters due to the use of global density parameter neighborhood radius Y,.ad and minimum number of points in neighborhood Np~,. So the efficiency of DBSCAN depends on these initial parameter settings, for DBSCAN to work.properly, the neighborhood radius must be less than the distance between two clusters otherwise algorithm merges two clusters and detects them as a single cluster. Through this paper： 1） We have proposed improved version of DBSCAN algorithm to detect clusters of varying density adjacent clusters by using the concept of neighborhood difference and using the notion of density based approach without introducing much additional computational complexity to original DBSCAN algorithm. 2） We validated our experimental results using one of our authors recently proposed space density indexing （SDI） internal cluster measure to demonstrate the quality of proposed clustering method. Also our experimental results suggested that proposed method is effective in detecting variable density adjacent nested clusters.

This review summarized the current controversies in the management of acute pancreatitis(AP).The controversies in management range from issues involving fluid resuscitation,nutrition,the role of antibiotics and antifungals,which analgesic to use,role of anticoagulation and intervention for complications in *** interventions vary from percutaneous drainage,endoscopy or *** research and emerging data are helping to formulate better *** available evidence favors crystalloids,although the choice and type of fluid resuscitation is an area of dynamic *** nutrition aspect does not have controversy as of now as early enteral feeding is preferred most often than *** empirical use of antibiotics and antifungals are gray zones,and more data is needed for conclusive *** choice of analgesic is being studied,and the recommendations are still *** position of using anticoagulation is still awaiting *** role of intervention is well established,although the modality is constantly changing and favoring endoscopy or percutaneous drainage rather than *** is evident that more multicenter randomized controlled trials are required for establishing the standard of care in these crucial management issues of AP to improve the morbidity and mortality worldwide.

Fluidized bed granulation is a process by which granules or coated particles are produced in a single piece of equipment by spraying a hinder as solution, suspension, or melt on the fluidized powder bed. Heat and mass transfer correlation useful for designing a granulator has been derived based on the equivalence of evaporation rate of the liquid to the heat transferred from hot gas to particles：（m/A）Dp^2λ/Lmf（1-εmf）（Tg-Tl）k.=hDp/*** equation is applied to data on granulation experiments by different work.rs to calculate Reynolds number and Nusselt number to obtain a relation between heat and mass transfer from gas to particles during granulation on a logarithmic scale from which the following empirical relation is obtained： Nu=0.0205Re^1.3876 which is comparable to k.thari＇s correlation Nu=0.03Re^*** using the heat and mass transfer correlation obtained, the entry length, that is the length of granulator up to which effective heat transfer from gas to bed particles tak.s place, is estimated, which is also validated with experimental study. The correct estimation of entry length is useful in optimal design of a granulator.

Investigation of Structural, Rheological and Thermal Properties of PMMA/ONi-Al LDH Nanocomposites Synthesized via Solvent Blending Method: Effect of LDH Loading

This article addresses the synthesis of organically tailored Ni-A1 layered double hydroxide （ONi-A1 LDH） and its use in the fabrication of exfoliated poly（methyl methacrylate）（PMMA） nanocomposites. The pristine Ni-AI LDH was initially synthesized by co-precipitation method and subsequently modified using sodium dodecyl sulfate to obtain ONi-A1 LDH. Nanocomposites of PMMA containing various amounts of modified Ni-A1 LDH （3 wt%-7 wt%） were synthesized via solvent blending method to investigate the influence of LDH content on the properties of PMMA matrix. Several characterization methods such as X-ray diffraction （XRD）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）, rheological analysis, differential scanning calorimetry （DSC） and thermo gravimetric analysis （TGA）, were employed to examine the structural, viscoelastic and thermal properties of PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites. The results of XRD and TEM examination confirm the formation of partially exfoliated PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites. The FTIR results elucidate that the characteristic bands for both pure PMMA and modified LDH are present in the spectra of PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites. Rheological analyses were carried out to examine the adhesion between polymer matrix and fillers present in the nanocomposite sample. The TGA data indicate that the PMMA nanocomposites exhibit higher thermal stability when compared to pure PMMA. The thermal decomposition temperature of PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites increases by 28 k.compared to that of pure PMMA at 15% weight loss as a point of reference. In comparison with pure PMMA, the PMMA nanocomposite containing 7 wt% LDH demonstrates improved glass transition temperature （Tg） of around 3 k. The activation energy （Ea）, reaction orders （n） and reaction mechanism of thermal degradation of PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites were evaluated using different k.netic models. Water uptak. capacity of the PMMA/OLDH nanocomposites is less than that of the pure PMMA.

An antagonistic communication exists between adenosinergic and dopaminergic signaling in the basal ganglia,which suggests that the suppression of adenosine A2A receptors-cyclic adenosine monophosphate pathway may be able to restore the disrupted dopamine transmission that results in motor symptoms in Park.nson’s disease(PD).Arbutin is a natural glycoside that possesses antioxidant,antiinflammatory,and neuroprotective *** purpose of this study was to investigate whether arbutin could ameliorate the symptoms of PD and to examine the underlying *** this study,Swiss albino mouse models of PD were established by the intraperitoneal injection of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine for 4 successive days,with the concurrent intraperitoneal administration of arbutin(50 and 100 mg/k.)for 7 *** results showed that arbutin significantly reduced lipid peroxidation,total nitrite levels,and inflammation in the substantia nigra and striatum of PD mouse *** addition,arbutin decreased the activity of endogenous antioxidants,reduced the levels of dopamine,3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid,homovanillic acid,andγ-aminobutyric acid,and minimized neurodegeneration in the *** also reduced the abnormal performance of PD mouse models in the open field test,bar test,pole test,and rotarod *** therapeutic efficacy of arbutin was similar to that of *** intraperitoneal injection of the A2AR agonist CGS21680(0.5 mg/k.)attenuated the therapeutic effects of arbutin,whereas the intraperitoneal injection of forsk.lin(3 mg/k.)enhanced arbutin-mediated *** findings suggest that arbutin can improve the performance of PD mouse models by inhibiting the function of the A2AR and enhancing the effects of cyclic adenosine *** study was approved by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee(1616/PO/Re/S/12/CPCSEA)on November 17,2019(approval ***/2019/010).

Back.round： An oviduct-specific glycoprotein, OVGP1, is synthesized and secreted by non-ciliated epithelial cells of the mammalian oviduct which provides an essential milieu for reproductive functions. The present study reports the effects of recombinant buffalo OVGP1 that lack. post-translational modifications, and native Buffalo OVGP1 isolated from oviductal tissue, on frozen-thawed sperm functions and in vitro embryo ***： The proportion of viable sperms was greater（P 〈 0.05） in the recombinant OVGP1-treated group compared to the native OVGP1-treated group at 2 h, 3 h, and 4 h of incubation. The proportion of motile sperms at3 h and 4 h of incubation; and membrane-intact sperms at 4 h was greater（P 〈 0.05） in the native OVGP1-treated group compared to the control and recombinant OVGP1-treated groups. The proportion of capacitated and acrosome-reacted sperms was greater（P 〈 0.05） in the native OVGP1-treated group compared to the recombinant OVGP1 group at 4 h. The rates of cleavage of embryos and their development to the blastocyst stage were greater（P 〈 0.05） in the presence of either native or recombinant OVGP1 in comparison to control at 10 μg/mL concentration as compared to 5 or 20 μg/***： The study suggests that both native and recombinant OVGP1 impart a positive effect on various sperm features and in vitro embryo development. However, native OVGP1 was found to have a more pronounced effect in comparison to recombinant non-glycosylated OVGP1 on various sperm functions except viability. Hence,our current findings infer that glycosylation of OVGP1 might be essential in sustaining the sperm functions but not the in vitro embryo development.
