One of the most dangerous safety hazard in underground coal mines is roof falls during retreat *** falls may cause life-threatening and non-fatal injuries to miners and impede mining and transportation *** a result,a reliable roof fall prediction model is essential to tackle such *** parameters that substantially impact roof falls are ill-defined and intangible,making this an uncertain and challenging research *** National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health assembled a national database of roof performance from 37 coal mines to explore the factors contributing to roof *** acquired for 37 mines is limited due to several restrictions,which increased the likelihood of *** logic is a technique for coping with ambiguity,incompleteness,and ***,In this paper,the fuzzy inference method is presented,which employs a genetic algorithm to create fuzzy rules based on 109 records of roof fall data and pattern search to refine the membership functions of *** performance of the deployed model is evaluated using statistical measures such as the Root-Mean-Square Error,Mean-Absolute-Error,and coefficient of determination(R_(2)).Based on these criteria,the suggested model outperforms the existing models to precisely predict roof fall rates using fewer fuzzy rules.

Purpose: This review article provides the readers with an in-depth insight in understanding and interpreting various research literatures on the masseter vestibular evoked myogenic potentials(mVEMP). The article also reviews the contemporary researches involving the clinical applications of the mVEMP. Conclusions: Masseter VEMP is an evolving yet clinically promising neuro-otology test tool that has recently gained more research interest and is considered an additional tool to diagnose various vestibular disorders. Masseter VEMP assesses the functional integrity of the acoustic-masseteric and vestibulo-masseteric reflex pathways. The mVEMP could be used as a complementary test to evaluate the same peripheral generator as the cervical VEMP but a different central pathway i.e., vestibulo-trigeminal pathway. Various research studies that have experimented on parameters such as the effect of different electrode montages(zygomatic vs mandibular configurations), stimulation rates, filter settings and stimuli used to evoke mVEMP have been discussed in this article that could assist in the optimization of a comprehensive clinical protocol. The latency and the amplitude of mVEMP waveforms serve as significant parameters in differentiating normals from those of the clinical populations. Along with the cVEMPs and oVEMPs, mVEMP might help diagnose brainstem lesions in REM Sleep behaviour disorders, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. However, further studies are required to probe in this area of research.

Countries face the risk of natural resource curse because of making their economic growth excessively dependent on natural *** excessive resource dependence causes such a risk,it is inevitable that resource-rich countries will need resource rent up to a certain level of economic *** the other hand,transferring the wealth achieved after this maturity level to productive investment areas also reduces the resource dependency levels of *** this context,countries that capture the possible inverted U-shaped relationship between economic growth and resource dependence can escape the *** on this,the aim of this research is to determine the validity of the Kuznets type relationship between resource dependence and economic growth for the first time in the *** nations that rely heavily on natural resources are used as a sample for *** countries with a share of total resource rent in national revenue greater than 25%are taken into consideration throughout the selection process for these *** novel panel data methodologies,the effects of capital accumulation,public spending,foreign direct investment,and economic growth on the dependence on natural resources is examined from 1993 to *** results reveal that capital accumulation reduces resource dependency while foreign investments and government size increases *** addition,the Resource-Based Kuznets curve concept is supported by empirical data demonstrating an inverted-U-shaped relationship between economic growth and resource dependence for these *** thresholds derived from the parameters show that Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan are well beyond this *** Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo,on the other hand,remain a long way from this ***,Iraq,Mongolia,Iran,and Azerbaijan have national incomes that are close at the threshold.

Periodontitis is independently associated with numerous lifestyle *** patients have approximately threefold increased odds of periodontitis,which in turn increases the risk of systemic *** study by Thazhe Poyil et al is an effort to establish the inflammatory link between diabetic retinopathy(DR)and periodontitis based on the periodontal inflamed surface area in diabetic patients with and without *** further advance the study,we suggest refining the eligibility criteria to explicitly state the clinical correlates of periodontitis and DR,larger sample size and improved sampling methodology,matching of baseline characteristics of the two groups,as well as improved statistical approach and interpretation of the study *** of hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)in studies comparing type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with DR of matched severity with and without periodontitis could provide a clearer picture of whether HbA1c level is indeed influenced by periodontitis.

The current study attempts to compare the hybrid artificial intelligence models to forecast the environmental externalities in Saudi *** have used the denoising based artificial intelligence models to construct hybrid *** comparing the denoising techniques,the CSD-based denoising has ***,we have used the CSD-based hybrid ***-ANN and CSD-RNN are used for denoising-based artificial intelligence models,whereas CSD-ARIMA is used for denoising-based traditional *** these models are used to check and compare their performance in terms of level and direction of prediction for PM_(10).The results show that the CSD-based ANN model has a higher predictability for PM_(10) levels in Saudi Arabia due to low error values and higher Dstat *** comparing original and forecasted data,the superiority of CSD-ANN is evident in predicting the PM_(10) in Saudi ***,this hybrid model can predict the environmental externalities for non-linear and highly noised ***,the findings can be useful in achieving the sustainable development goal.

In any industry,it is the requirement to know whether the machine is healthy or not to operate machine *** the machine is not healthy then what is the fault in the machine and then finally its *** paper is proposing a 3-Steps methodology for the machine fault diagnosis to meet the industrial requirements to aid the maintenance *** Step-1 identifies whether machine is healthy or faulty,then Step-2 detect the type of defect and finally its location in *** method is extended further from the earlier study on the 2-Steps method for the rotor defects only to the 3-Steps methodology to both rotor and bearing *** method uses the optimised vibration parameters and a simple Artificial Neural Network(ANN)-based Machine Learning(ML)model from the earlier *** model is initially developed,tested and validated on an experimental rotating rig operating at a speed above 1st critical *** proposed method and model are then further validated at 2 different operating speeds,one below 1st critical speed and other above 2nd critical *** machine dynamics are expected to be significantly different at these *** highlights the robustness of the proposed 3-Steps method.

Background Hypospadias is one of the most common genital birth *** are around 300 various techniques available for the repair of *** study aims to compare the reported outcomes of Tubularized incised plate urethroplasty(TIP)and Grafted TIP(GTIP)repair in children undergoing primary *** This meta-analysisadhered to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines,and we framed our research question using the population,intervention,control and outcomes *** conducted comprehensive electronic searches across various databases,employing a Boolean search strategy with predefined search *** randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were included for quantitative *** Totally,10 RCTs met our inclusion criteria for quantitative *** results indicated that urethrocutaneous fistula,glans dehiscence,and stricture rates were comparable between the two *** incidence of meatal stenosis was found to be significantly lower in the GTIP group with a relative risk(RR)of 0.32(95%confidence interval(Cl)0.15 to 0.67).Conclusion The coucomes UCF,glans dehiscence,and stricture rates were comparable between the two ***,the incidence of meatal stenosis was found to be significantly lower in the grafted TIP *** terms of operative time,our quantitative synthesis demonstrated that the TIP group had a shorter operative time than the GTIP group with significant heterogeneity.

Background Polyglactin(PG)and polydioxanone(PDS)sutures are extensively used based on the surgeon's *** development of post-reconstruction urethrocutaneous fistula(UCF)is variably attributed to the choice of suture material for *** meta-an alysiscompares complications of hypospadia srepair using PGand PDS *** The systematic review and meta-analysis were performed as per the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses *** authors conducted thorough searches in databases including MEDLINE,EMBASE,CENTRAL,Scopus,Google Scholar,and clinical trial *** measures included UCF,meatal stenosis,wound infection,urethral stricture,glans dehiscence,and overall *** analysis was used with fixed or random-effect models to find the pooled risk ratio and I2 *** The criteria for inclusion were met by five comparative studies with the inclusion of 1244 children *** analysis failed to show a statistically significant difference in the incidence of meatal stenosis,urethral stricture,wound infection,and total complications using PG and PDS ***,it showed a reduction in the incidence of UCF with PDS suture hypospadias repairs(risk ratio=0.66,95%Cl 0.48 to 0.92).Conclusions PDS sutures are associated with decreased incidence of UCF than PG after hypospadias *** incidence of meatal stenosis,urethral stricture,wound infection,and total complications was not affected by the type of suture material used for *** implications This meta-analysis suggests decreased incidence of UCF when PDS sutures are used for hypospadias repair which may impact the choice of suturematerialforrepair.
