A near eutectic Al−12.6Si alloy was developed with 0.0wt%,2.0wt%,4.0wt%,and 6.0wt%Al−5Ti−1B master *** micro-structural morphology,hardness,tensile strength,elongation,and fracture behaviour of the alloys were *** unmodified Al−12.6Si al-loy has an irregular needle and plate-like eutectic silicon(ESi)and coarse polygonal primary silicon(PSi)particles in the matrix-likeα-Al *** P_(Si),E_(Si),andα-Al morphology and volume fraction were changed due to the addition of the Al−5Ti−1B master *** hardness,UTS,and elongation improved due to the microstructural ***-sized in-situ Al3Ti particles and ex-situ TiB_(2)particles caused the mi-crostructural *** fracture images of the developed alloys exhibit a ductile and brittle mode of fracture at the same *** Al−5Ti−1B modified alloys have a more ductile mode of fracture and more dimples compared to the unmodified alloy.

Finite element analysis has been carried out to understand the effect of various processing routes and condition on the microscale deformation behavior of Al–4.5 Cu–2 Mg alloy. The alloy has been developed through four different routes and condition, i.e. conventional gravity casting with and without refiner, rheocasting and SIMA process. The optical microstructures of the alloy have been used to develop representative volume elements（RVEs）. Two different boundary conditions have been employed to simulate the deformation behavior of the alloy under uniaxial loading. Finally, the simulated stress-strain behavior of the alloy is compared with the experimental result. It is found that the microstructural morphology has a significant impact on stress and strain distribution and load carrying capacity. The eutectic phase always carries a higher load than the α（Al） phase. The globular α（Al） grains with thinner and uniformly distributed eutectic network provide a better stress and strain distribution. Owing to this, SIMA processed alloy has better stress and strain distribution than other processes. Finally, the simulated yield strength of the alloy is verified by experiment and they have great agreement.

Under small and marginal farm conditions,allocation of land exclusively for forages is not ***,integration of forages in existing crop geometry can ensure production of grain and fodder,simultaneously under rainfed *** experiment was conducted to study the effect of different nutrient management practices on rice and fodder intercropping systems under rainfed conditions during *** intercropping system comprised(i)sole rice(R),(ii)rice and cowpea(5:2)(CP)and(iii)rice and ricebean(5:2)(RB)whereas the different nutrient management practices comprised(i)application of farm yard manure(FYM)at 5t ha^(-1)(farmers'practice)(N_(1)),(ii)application of inorganic fertilizer(recommended dose of fertilizer(RDF)of rice,60:30:30 kg ha^(-1) of N:P_(2)O_(5):K_(2)O)(N_(2))and(iii)application of both FYM at 5t ha^(-1) and 50%of RDF inorganic fertilizer(N3).The results of the experiment revealed that the growth attribute such as leaf area was influenced significantly when fodder crops were taken as intercrops because rice plant was getting more nitrogen from soil due to nitrogen fixation of leguminous fodder *** the nutrient management practices,significant differences in leaf area were found beween N2 and and between N_(3)and N_(1)***,regarding total number of effective tillers,significant differences were found neither between nutrient management practices nor between cropping *** rice equivalent yield(REY)based on price(REY_(P))was found to be significantly lower in CP(2615 kg ha^(-1);-6.4%)and RB intercropping systems(2571 kg ha^(-1);-8.0%)than in R monocropping system(2794 kg ha^(-1)).However,the REY based on energy(REY_(E))of CP(2999 kg ha^(-1);+7.3%)and RB(2960 kg ha^(-1);+5.9%)were found to be significantly higher than that of R(2794 kg ha^(-1))irrespective of nutrient management *** different nutrient management practices,the N3 treatment recorded the highest REY_(P)and REY_(E)which was at par with

Surface finishing is essential for various applications in the aerospace *** of the applications is the poppet valve,which is used for leak-proof sealing of high-pressure gases in aerospace gas propulsion *** combustion engine also typically employs a poppet valve as an intake and exhaust ***-finishing a poppet valve is difficult because of its complex narrow *** precise nano-finished poppet valve perfectly fits on its seat and reduces hydrocarbon *** rotational-magnetorheological fluid-based finishing process can be used effectively for these complicated *** polishing agent in this process is magnetorheological fluid,and rheological properties are controlled by a permanent *** article presents the uniform finishing of the poppet valve's narrow ridge profile,which is analyzed through finite element analysis(FEA),wherein the outcomes are uniform shear stress,normal stress,and magnetic flux density distributions along the poppet ridge *** study of forces exerting on abrasive grains and surface roughness simulation is also conducted using FEA *** experiment is subsequently performed to verify the simulation results for poppet profile *** obtained experimental and simulated surface roughness values are *** the finishing process,the maximum percentage improvement of surface roughness is obtained as 93.71%.The rotational-magnetorheological fluid-based finishing process has high accuracy and reliability for specific applications.

The current study emphasizes inadequacies of earlier research findings on multi-robot navigation and offers a robust approach to guide the robots in an unknown dynamic *** attain the objective,the Intelligent Water Drop(IWD)algorithm is combined with Differential Evolution(DE)in a new conceptual fashion to optimize the navigation path of multiple mobile *** hybrid IWD-DE,basic IWD and DE algorithms are then explored for multi-robot navigation in a dynamic workspace through *** simulation outcomes demonstrate the competency of the proposed method to guide the robot in predicting the nature of the obstacle and to generate an optimal and safe trajectory in a dynamic *** potency of the proposed algorithm is further validated through experimentation with fire bird robot in a real *** outcomes of the simulation and experimentation,by employing IWD-DE algorithm are compared with those of basic IWD and DE *** error estimated for Average Navigation Path Travelled(ANPT),Aggregate Navigation Path Deviation(ANPD)and number of turns between simulation and experimental results by employing IWD-DE is 8.96,9.09,and 11.13,respectively while reaching 16.43,28.61,29.15 for IWD,and 6.66,10.20,14.28 for *** efficiency of the proposed approach is further verified with the state-of-the-art in a dynamic *** outcomes reveal the efficiency and flexibility of the proposed approach in resolving the multi-robot navigation problem as compared to the state-of-the-art in a dynamic workspace.

A Heuristic Algorithm for Core Selection in Multicast Routing

With the development of network multimedia technology, more and more real-time multimedia applications need to transmit information using multicast. The basis of multicast data transmission is to construct a multicast tree. The main problem concerning the construction of a shared multicast tree is selection of a root of the shared tree or the core point. In this paper, we propose a heuristic algorithm for core selection in multicast routing. The proposed algorithm selects core point by considering both delay and inter-destination delay variation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than the existing algorithms in terms of delay variation subject to the end-to-end delay bound. The mathematical time complexity and the execution time of the proposed algorithm are comparable to those of the existing algorithms.

The binary Mg-Ca alloys are drawing increasing attention as temporary implant materials because of their excellent biocompatibility,biodegradability, and good mechanical properties. However, their applications are limited due to their high degradation rates in the human physiological environment, the consequent release of hydrogen gas, and rapid loss in mechanical properties. Furthermore, biocompatibility depends upon the degradability of the material. Various researchers have demonstrated that these issues can be addressed by control of Ca content, thermo-mechanical processing to obtain suitable microstructures, deposition of surface coatings, etc. In this manuscript, a detailed review of published literature on Mg-Ca alloys is presented. The challenges and future directions of research in this area are also described.

As-cast Mg-Sn alloys(3,6,and 9 wt%Sn)were solution treated at 653,703 and 753 K(380,430 and 480℃)for 1,4,8,12 and 24 h to determine the variation of secondary phase with respect to Sn content,temperature and ***-3 wt%Sn exhibits Mg2Sn dissolution at all solution treatment temperatures whereas Mg-6 and 9 wt%Sn alloy displays Mg2Sn reprecipitation and dissolution depending on the heat treatment *** addition,a combined mathematical model that predicts the secondary phase dissolution and solute redistribution as a function of temperature and time is presented in this *** model is a significant improvement compared to the previous studies where the dissolution and homogenization processes are considered *** effect of grain size and solute mobility upon the dissolution and homogenization kinetics is discussed as well.

This paper presents a novel computerized technique for the segmentation of nuclei in hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)stained histopathology *** purpose of this study is to overcome the challenges faced in automated nuclei segmentation due to the diversity of nuclei structures that arise from differences in tissue types and staining protocols,as well as the segmentation of variable-sized and overlapping *** this extent,the approach proposed in this study uses an ensemble of the UNet architecture with various Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)architectures as encoder backbones,along with stain normalization and test time augmentation,to improve segmentation ***,this paper employs a Structure-Preserving Color Normalization(SPCN)technique as a preprocessing step for stain *** proposed model was trained and tested on both single-organ and multi-organ datasets,yielding an F1 score of 84.11%,mean Intersection over Union(IoU)of 81.67%,dice score of 84.11%,accuracy of 92.58%and precision of 83.78%on the multi-organ dataset,and an F1 score of 87.04%,mean IoU of 86.66%,dice score of 87.04%,accuracy of 96.69%and precision of 87.57%on the single-organ *** findings demonstrate that the proposed model ensemble coupled with the right pre-processing and post-processing techniques enhances nuclei segmentation capabilities.
