Physics-informed optimization for a data-driven approach in landslide susceptibility evaluation

Landslide susceptibility mapping is an integral part of geological hazard ***,the emphasis of many studies has been on data-driven models,notably those derived from machine learning,owing to their aptitude for tackling complex non-linear ***,the prevailing models often disregard qualitative research,leading to limited interpretability and mistakes in extracting negative samples,*** non-landslide *** this study,Scoops 3D(a three-dimensional slope stability analysis tool)was utilized to conduct a qualitative assessment of slope stability in the Yunyang section of the Three Gorges Reservoir *** depth of the bedrock was predicted utilizing a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),incorporating local boreholes and building on the insights from prior *** Random Forest(RF)algorithm was subsequently used to execute a data-driven landslide susceptibility *** proposed methodology demonstrated a notable increase of 29.25%in the evaluation metric,the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC-AUC),outperforming the prevailing benchmark ***,the landslide susceptibility map generated by the proposed model demonstrated superior *** result not only validates the effectiveness of amalgamating mathematical and mechanistic insights for such analyses,but it also carries substantial academic and practical implications.

Synthesis,structure,and luminescence properties of melilite Dy^(3+):Lu_(x)CaLa_(0.98-x)Ga_(3)O_(7) phosphors for use in yellow light-emitting devices

Dy^(3+) and Lu^(3+) co-doped CaLaGa_(3)O_(7) phosphors were prepared via high-temperature solid-phase *** electronic structures of LuxCaLa_(0.98-x)Ga_(3)O_(7) were investigated by the first-principles *** influence of Lu^(3+) on yellow light emission was studied using X-ray diffraction(XRD)and photoluminescence(PL) *** XRD results indicate that compared to Dy^(3+):CaLaGa_(3)O_(7),the cell parameters of Dy^(3+):LuCaLaGa_(3)O_(7) tend to decrease,which is due to the smaller radius of Lu^(3+).When pumped by blue GaN laser diode(LD),the emission peaks of phosphors with different Lu^(3+)doping concentrations in the visible region are similar,with the strongest peak at 574 nm in the yellow light region,which is sensitive to human *** optimal doping concentration of Lu^(3+) is confirmed to be1 at%,when all emission spectra and measured fluorescence lifetimes are taken into ***,the optimal phosphor composition Dy^(3+):Lu_(x)CaLa_(0.98-x)Ga_(3)O_(7)(x=0.01) has an internal quantum efficiency(IQE) of 46.94% and an external quantum efficiency(EQE) of 15.19%.Most notably,the prepared phosphor demonstrates excellent thermal stability and a high activation energy(0.203 eV).In addition,the International Illumination Commission color coordinates of the Dy^(3+):LuxCaLa_(0.98-x)Ga_(3)O_(7) phosphors are in the yellow light *** above analysis indicates that the Dy^(3+):LuxCaLa_(0.98-x)Ga_(3)O_(7)(x=0.001)phosphor has promising application prospects in yellow light-emitting devices.

Numerical simulation and parameter optimization of Coriolis force scale measurement process based on DEM

The Coriolis force method is a recently developed and highly regarded direct measurement technique that enables high-precision measurement of bulk *** operational parameters and variations thereof directly influence the measurement accuracy of the *** this study,a measurement correction coefficient is introduced to improve the calculation method for mass flow rate of the *** DEM is employed to simulate the motion of particle groups within the Coriolis force scale under different parameters,and the effects of various structural and operational parameters on the measurement results are *** research findings indicate that a lower rotational speed leads to more stable instantaneous measurement results,although the measurement error is relatively *** the rotational speed exceeds 300 rpm,the measurement error remains within 15%.For materials with a radius of 1–2 mm,the variation range of precision error is approximately 0.4%.Among the structural parameters,the radius of the measurement wheel has the most significant impact on the measurement results,wherein a larger measurement wheel radius corresponds to a smaller measurement *** horizontal angle of the blades follows as the next influential parameter,with a clockwise rotation and a horizontal angle of 30°resulting in a measurement error below 2%.

A Task Scheduling Algorithm Based on Clustering Pre-processing in Space-Based Information Network

With the diversification of space-based information network task requirements and the dramatic increase in demand, the efficient scheduling of various tasks in space-based information network becomes a new challenge. To address the problems of a limited number of resources and resource heterogeneity in the space-based information network, we propose a bilateral pre-processing model for tasks and resources in the scheduling pre-processing stage. We use an improved fuzzy clustering method to cluster tasks and resources and design coding rules and matching methods to match similar categories to improve the clustering effect. We propose a space-based information network task scheduling strategy based on an ant colony simulated annealing algorithm for the problems of high latency of space-based information network communication and high resource dynamics. The strategy can efficiently complete the task and resource matching and improve the task scheduling performance. The experimental results show that our proposed task scheduling strategy has less task execution time and higher resource utilization than other algorithms under the same experimental conditions. It has significantly improved scheduling performance.

Insight into the adsorption behavior and mechanism of trace impurities from H_(2)O_(2) solution on functionalized zirconia by tuning the structure of amino groups

Primary,secondary and tertiary amino-functionalized zirconia(ZrO_(2)-NH_(2),ZrO_(2)-NH and ZrO_(2)-N)was synthesized by the postgrafting method for the adsorption removal of typical metallic ions,phosphate and total oxidizable carbon from a real H_(2)O_(2) ***_(2)-NH_(2),ZrO_(2)-NH and ZrO_(2)-N exhibited similar pore sizes and sequentially increased zeta *** adsorption results of single and binary simulated solutions showed that the removal efficiency increased in the order of Fe^(3+)>Al^(3+)>Ca^(2+)>Na^(+).There is competitive adsorption between metallic ions,and Fe^(3+) has an advantage over the other metals,with a removal efficiency of 90.7%.The coexisting phosphate could promote the adsorption of metallic ions,while total oxidizable carbon had no effect on *** adsorption results of the real H_(2)O_(2)solution showed that ZrO_(2)-NH_(2) exhibited the best adsorption affinity for metallic ions,as did phosphate and total oxidizable carbon,with a total adsorption capacity of 120.9 mg·g_(-1).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption process of metallic ions involves electron transfer from N atoms to metals and the formation of N-metal bonds.

Hybrid multi-terminal direct current(MTDC)transmission technology has been a research focus,and primary frequency regulation(FR)improvement in the receiving-end system is one of the problems to be *** paper presents a decentralized primary FR scheme for hybrid MTDC power systems considering multi-source enhancement to help suppress frequency disturbance in the receiving-end *** the converters only need local frequency or DC voltage signal input to respond to system disturbance without communication or a control center,i.e.,a decentralized control *** proposed scheme can activate appropriate power sources to assist in FR in various system disturbance severities with fine-designed thresholds,ensuring sufficient utilization of each power *** better balance FR performance and FR resource participation,an evaluation index is proposed and the parameter optimization problem is further ***,the validity of the proposed scheme is verified by simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.

A New Class of Strong Orthogonal Arrays of Strength Three

Strong orthogonal arrays(SOAs) were recently introduced and studied as a class of spacefilling designs for computer experiments. To surely realize better space-filling properties, SOAs of strength three or higher are desirable. In addition, orthogonality is also an important property for designs of computer experiments, because it guarantees that the estimates of the main effects are uncorrelated. This paper first provides a systematic study on the construction of(nearly) orthogonal strength-three SOAs with better space-filling properties. The newly proposed strength-three SOAs enjoy almost the same space-filling properties of strength-four SOAs, and can accommodate much more columns than the latter. Moreover, they are(nearly) orthogonal and flexible in run sizes. The construction methods are straightforward to implement, and their theoretical supports are well established. In addition to the theoretical results, many designs are tabulated for practical needs.

Effect of neodymium doping on structure,magnetic properties and microwave absorption performance of SrMnO_(3)

A simple composite Sr_(1-x)Nd_(x)MnO_(3)(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2) nano powders were successfully prepared by the sol-gel method as a light-weight broadband electromagnetic wave *** effect of Nd^(3+)doping on the structure,microstructure and properties of SrMnO_(3) was *** is found that with the doping of Nd^(3+),the space group of the SrMnO_(3) changes from p63/mmc to pm3m,and the crystalline shape starts to change from hexagonal to cubic *** electron microscopy(SEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) tests confirm that the particle sizes of the sample decrease and the specific surface area increases,which are attributed to the inhibition of grain growth after Nd^(3+)is doped.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) shows that after Nd^(3+)doping,the content of oxygen vacancy increases,and Mn^(4+) converts to Mn^(3+).Due to the defects of the materials,the polarization effect is enhanced,thus,the dielectric and magnetic properties of the doped samples are *** maximum reflection loss of the Sr_(0.85)Nd_(0.15)MnO_(3) is-33.41 dB at 7.84 GHz for a thickness of 2.4 mm,while Sr_(0.9)Nd_(0.1)MnO_(3) has the best bandwidth performance at 2.32 GHz with a reflection loss below-10dB.

Flexo-photocatalysis in centrosymmetric semiconductors

The separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs is vitally important for photocatalysis,which can be effectively promoted by polarization ***,it only manifests in piezoelectric/pyroelectric/ferroelectric materials that have a non-centrosymmetric ***,we demonstrate that the polarization enhanced photocatalysis(with wide spectra from ultraviolet(UV)light to visible light)can be achieved in centrosymmetric semiconductors,such asδ-MnO_(2) and TiO_(2) nanosheets integrated nanoflowers,by using the strain-gradient-induced flexoelectric polarization that is always overlooked in polarization-enhanced *** ultrasonic and illumination excitation,the organic pollutants(methylene blue(MB),etc.)can be effectively degraded within 30 min with excellent stability and *** with photocatalysis,the flexo-photocatalytic performance of above centrosymmetric semiconductors is substantially increased by 85%.Moreover,the factors related to flexo-photocatalysis such as material morphology,mechanical stimuli source,and adsorption are explored to deeply understand the mechanism of *** work opens up a way for high-performance photocatalysis in centrosymmetric semiconductors.
