In a one-way analysis-of-variance(ANOVA) model,the number of pairwise comparisons can become large even with a moderate number of *** by this,we consider a regime with a growing number of groups and prove that,when testing pairwise comparisons,the Benjamini-Hochberg(BH) procedure can asymptotically control false discoveries,despite the fact that the involved t-statistics do not exhibit the wellknown positive dependence structure required for exact false discovery rate(FDR) *** Tukey's perspective that the difference between the means of any two groups cannot be exactly zero,our main result provides control over the directional false discovery rate and directional false discovery proportion.A key technical contribution of our work is demonstrating that the dependence among the t-statistics is sufficiently weak to establish the convergence result typically required for asymptotic FDR *** analysis does not rely on conventional assumptions such as normality,variance homogeneity,or a balanced design,thereby offering a theoretical foundation for applications in more general settings.

The high-precision measurement of Higgs boson properties is one of the primary goals of the Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC).The measurements ofH→b■/c■/gg decay branching fraction in the CEPC experiment is presented,considering a scenario of analysing 5000 fb-1 e^+e^-collision data with the center-of-mass energy of 250 Ge *** this study the Higgs bosons are produced in association with a pair of leptons,dominantly mediated by the ZH production *** statistical uncertainty of the signal cross section is estimated to be about 1%in theH→b■ final state,and approximately 5%-10%in theH→c■/gg final *** addition,the main sources of the systematic uncertainties and their impacts to the measurements of branching fractions are *** study demonstrates the potential of precise measurement of the hadronic final states of the Higgs boson decay at the CEPC,and will provide key information to understand the Yukawa couplings between the Higgs boson and quarks,which are predicted to be the origin of quarks’masses in the standard model.

The infiltration of glioblastoma multiforme(GBM) is predominantly characterized by diffuse spread, contributing significantly to therapy resistance and recurrence of GBM. In this study, we reveal that microtubule deacetylation, mediated through the downregulation of fibronectin type III and SPRY domain-containing 1(FSD1), plays a pivotal role in promoting GBM diffuse infiltration. FSD1 directly interacts with histone deacetylase 6(HDAC6) at its second catalytic domain, thereby impeding its deacetylase activity on α-tubulin and preventing microtubule deacetylation and depolymerization. This inhibitory interaction is disrupted upon phosphorylation of FSD1 at its Ser317 and Ser324 residues by activated CDK5, leading to FSD1 dissociation from microtubules and facilitating HDAC6-mediated α-tubulin deacetylation. Furthermore, increased expression of FSD1 or interference with FSD1 phosphorylation reduces microtubule deacetylation, suppresses invasion of GBM stem cells, and ultimately mitigates tumor infiltration in orthotopic GBM xenografts. Importantly, GBM tissues exhibit diminished levels of FSD1 expression, correlating with microtubule deacetylation and unfavorable clinical outcomes in GBM patients. These findings elucidate the mechanistic involvement of microtubule deacetylation in driving GBM cell invasion and offer potential avenues for managing GBM infiltration.
