In the past few decades,chronic hepatitis B(CHB)has evolved from a disease that was untreatable and progressive,to one that can be easily controlled with antiviral ***,patients with severe liver disease still remain difficult to treat despite the availability of highly potent nucleos(t)ide *** include those with underlying cirrhosis,severe flares of CHB,hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and for those undergoing liver *** those with established cirrhosis,antiviral therapy should be considered for all,as unpredictable flares can still occur,which can be fatal for those with advanced chronic liver ***,even with effective viral suppression,the development of HCC can still *** patients with severe flares of CHB,although the use of antiviral can improve long term outcomes,a significant proportion may still die without liver *** short term prognosis of these patients is dependent on both the severity of flare and underlying pre-existing liver *** patients with decompensated cirrhosis,liver failure secondary to severe flares,or those with HCC,liver transplantation may be *** liver transplantation,long term antiviral therapy is required to prevent graft loss from recurrent hepatitis B *** use of hepatitis B immune globulin(HBIG)in combination with an oral antiviral agent has been the mainstay of post-transplant antiviral regimen for over *** newer and more potent antiviral agents such as tenofovir and entecavir,use of these agents along with HBIG have demonstrated to be effective in preventing significant recurrence in the long term.

In many traditional non-rigid structure from motion(NRSFM)approaches,the estimation results of part feature points may significantly deviate from their true values because only the overall estimation error is considered in their *** at solving this issue,a local deviation-constrained-based column-space-fitting approach is proposed in this paper to alleviate estimation *** our work,an effective model is first constructed with two terms:the overall estimation error,which is computed by a linear subspace representation,and a constraint term,which is based on the variance of the reconstruction error for each ***,an augmented Lagrange multipliers(ALM)iterative algorithm is presented to optimize the proposed ***,a convergence analysis is performed with three steps for the optimization *** both the overall estimation error and the local deviation are utilized,the proposed method can achieve a good estimation performance and a relatively uniform estimation error distribution for different feature *** results on several widely used synthetic sequences and real sequences demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, the complexity of intra coding is first analyzed so as to achieve a weight of complexity measurement for each intra mode. Then, a new complexity scalable control algorithm for intra coding in H. 264 is proposed, based on the rearrangement of the order of candidate modes and an efficient complexity allocation and control （CAAC） scheme at the macroblock （MB） level. The candidate modes of each MB are rearranged according to the local-edge information. Experimental results show that our proposed algorithm can make an appropriate cut-off point of the candidate modes sequence adaptively according to the current energy condition of a mobile device, so as to adjust the complexity at any level while maximizing the video quality, which can prolong the operational lifetime of the battery with minimum degradation in video quality.

Accurate determination of the presence and degree of fibrosis in liver is of great importance, because the prognosis and management strategies for chronic liver disease depend mainly on these factors. To date, liver biopsy (LB) remains the "gold standard" for assessing the severity of liver fibrosis; however, LB is often limited by its invasiveness, sampling error, and intra/ inter-observer variability in histological interpretation. Furthermore, repeated LB examinations within a short time interval are indeed ineligible in a real clinical practice. Thus, due to the pressing need for non-invasive surrogates for liver fibrosis, transient elastography (TE),as a novel ultrasound based technology, has allowed a noninvasive measurement of liver stiffness and has gained in popularity over recent years. In the past few years, additional roles for transient TE beyond the initial purpose of a non-invasive surrogate for LB have included the prediction of the most two critical consequences of fibrosis progression: the development of portal hypertension-related complications and hepatocellular carcinoma. This indicates that the role of transient TE is not merely limited to reducing the need for LB, but transient TE can enable the establishment of tailored management strategies by providing more detailed prognostic information. In particular, under the concept in which the clinical course of liver fibrosis is dynamic and bidirectional, especially when appropriate intervention is commenced, transient TE can be used to track the dynamic changes in fibrotic burden during antiviral or antifibrotic treatment. This review discussed extended applications of transient TE in prediction of the development of real clinical endpoints from a longitudinal perspective.

Engine spark ignition is an important source for diagnosis of engine *** on the waveform of the ignition pattern,a mechanic can guess what may be the potential malfunctioning parts of an engine with his/her experience and ***,this manual diagnostic method is imprecise because many spark ignition patterns are very ***,a diagnosis needs many trials to identify the malfunctioning *** the mechanic needs to disassemble and assemble the engine parts for *** tackle this problem,an intelligent diagnosis system was established based on ignition ***,the captured patterns were normalized and *** wavelet packet transform（WPT） was employed to extract the representative features of the ignition ***,a classification system was constructed by using multi-class support vector machines（SVM） and the extracted *** classification system can intelligently classify the most likely engine fault so as to reduce the number of diagnosis *** results show that SVM produces higher diagnosis accuracy than the traditional multilayer feedforward neural *** is the first trial on the combination of WPT and SVM to analyze ignition patterns and diagnose automotive engines.

The problem of phase retrieval is revisited and studied from a fresh *** particular,we establish a connection between the phase retrieval problem and the sensor network localization problem,which allows us to utilize the vast theoretical and algorithmic literature on the latter to tackle the *** this connection,we develop a two-stage algorithm for phase retrieval that can provably recover the desired *** both sparse and dense settings,our proposed algorithm improves upon prior approaches simultaneously in the number of required measurements for recovery and the reconstruction *** present numerical results to corroborate our theory and to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed *** a side result,we propose a new form of phase retrieval problem and connect it to the complex rigidity theory proposed by Gortler and Thurston(in:Connelly R,Ivic Weiss A,Whiteley W(eds)Rigidity and symmetry,Springer,New York,pp 131–154,2014).
