Herein,we report the synthesis of Zn_(0.7)Mg_(0.3)Nd_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)(where,x=0,0,0,01,0,02)ferrite nanoparticles by employing the sol-gel auto-combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)pattern suggests the formation of a pure cubic structure,without any impurity phase,with an Fd3m space group at room *** increasing doping amount,the crystallite size is reported as 35-41 nm,while the lattice parameters rise from 0.8381 to 0.8395 *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM)images show the formation of spherical grains with agglomerated morphology in all the samples,with grain sizes ranging from 49 to 103 *** dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)and elemental mapping investigation confirm the chemical purity of all the *** transform infrared(FTIR)analysis shows the presence of two prominent peaks around 440 and 560 cm^(-1)that correspond to the octahedral and tetrahedral *** addition,the existence of five Raman active vibratio nal modes in all produced specimens again confirms the structural purity of all the *** M-H curve shows that saturation magnetization(M_(s))first increases from 14.98 to 28.22 emu/g and then decreases to 18.98emu/g with increasing doping *** is due to the A-b type super-exchange interaction for the synthesized *** variation in coercivity(H_(c))and magnetic anisotropy(K_(1))suggest the thermal stability of all the samples and can be utilized in transformers and solenoids.

The study was sought to enhance the synthesis of thermal stableβ-cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase(β-CGTase)using potato wastewater as a low-cost medium and assess the degree to which it is efficient for industrial production ofβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD)from raw potato *** bacteria producingβ-CGTase was isolated from Saudi Arabia and the promising strain was identified as bacillus licheniformis using phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA ***-encapsulated cultures exhibited twice-fold ofβ-CGTase production more than free *** electron microscopy(SEM)of polymeric capsules indicated the potential for a longer shelf-life,which promotes the restoration of activity in bacterial cells across semi-continuous fermentation ofβ-CGTase production for 252 *** optimal conditions forβ-CGTase synthesis using potato wastewater medium were at 36 h,pH of 8.0,and 50°C with 0.4%potato starch and 0.6%yeast extract as carbon and nitrogen sources,*** purified enzyme showed a specific activity of 63.90 U/mg with a molecular weight of∼84.6 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE *** high enzyme activity was observed up to 60°C,and complete stability was achieved at 75°*** levels of activity and stability were shown at pH 8.0,and the pH range from 7.0–10.0,*** enzyme has an appreciable affinity for raw potato starch with a Km of 5.7×10−6 M and a Vmax of 87.71μmoL/mL/min.β-CD production was effective against 25 U/g of raw potato *** outcomes demonstrated its feasibility to develop a fermentation process by integrating the cost-effective production ofβ-CGTase having distinctive properties forβ-CD production with ecofriendly utilization of potato wastewater.

Objective The current study aimed to elucidate the effect of vanillin on behavioral changes, oxidative stress, and histopathological changes induced by potassium bromate （KbrO3）, an environmental pollutant, in the cerebellum of adult *** The animals were divided into four groups： group 1 served as a control, group 2 received KbrO3, group 3 received KbrO3 and vanillin, and group 4 received only vanillin. We then measured behavioral changes, oxidative stress, and molecular and histological changes in the *** We observed significant behavioral changes in KbrO3-exposed mice. When investigating redox homeostasis in the cerebellum, we found that mice treated with KbrO3 had increased lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation in the cerebellum. These effects were accompanied by decreased Na＋-K＋ and Mg2＋ ATPase activity and antioxidant enzyme gene expression when compared to the control group. Additionally, there was a significant increase in cytokine gene expression in KbrO3-treated mice. Microscopy revealed that KbrO3 intoxication resulted in numerous degenerative changes in the cerebellum that were substantially ameliorated by vanillin supplementation. Co-administration of vanillin blocked the biochemical and molecular anomalies induced by *** Our results demonstrate that vanillin is a potential therapeutic agent for oxidative stress associated with neurodegenerative diseases.

The CPb （Colorado potato beetle） is unquestionably the major insect pest of potato crops in North America, Europe, and Asia. The use of chemical insecticides to control this insect pest started in the 1860s. To date, no registered chemical has been capable of effectively managing this agricultural pest. Moreover, the CPb has developed over the years a resistance to most of the registered chemical insecticides. The biological control through manual release of natural enemies of the CPb has been successful at small scale. However, hand release of these predators at large scale is not realistic. The objective of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of controlling the CPb through mechanical release of predator insects under real conditions in a potato field. Obtained results indicate that the mechanical release of predator insects resulted in a better control of the CPb populations and egg masses than the manual release. The success of this mechanical release of predator insects in potato fields will be highly valuable for the biological control of insect pests in many other row crops such as strawberry, lettuce, etc..

目的探讨利用静脉充氧“复苏”较长时间无心跳（热缺血３０～６０ｍｉｎ）供体器官技术进行动物原位肝移植的可行性。方法３６头家猪随机分为供体和受体各３组，供体３组为Ａ组（肝脏热缺血１５ｍｉｎ、Ｂ组（肝脏热缺血６０ｍｉｎ）和Ｃ组（肝脏热缺血６０ｍｉｎ＋冷保存期供氧），进行动物原位肝移植，观察移植动物的５ｄ生存率、肝细胞损害、肝脏台成功能和全身炎症反应指标的变化。结果Ｂ组供肝组在移植后３ｈ内动物全部死亡，Ａ、Ｃ组动物存活至预定观察时间；Ａ、Ｃ组动物的肝细胞损害、肝脏合成功能和全身炎症反应指标的变化趋势类似，两组间差异无显著性。结论冷保存期静脉系统供氧对较长时间热缺血损伤的供体肝脏有一定的保护和复苏作用，有可能成为利用无心跳供肝进行肝移植的辅助方法。

Model Atmosphere Analysis of Some b-Type Stars

We present model atmosphere analysis for a sample of b-type stars in optical region to obtain their fundamental parameters e.g. effective temperature, surface gravities, and rotational velocities. Approximate masses for the sample of stars under study are obtained by comparing the resulted effective temperatures and surface gravities with the evolutionary tracks. Comparison between these masses and the empirical effective temperatures-mass relation revealed good agreement.

Physiochemical, Nutritional and Technological Properties of Instant Porridge Supplemented with Mung bean

The present study was undertaken to prepare instant porridge from some useful and available ingredients such as bulgur powder, potato, tomato, carrot, mung bean (unsoaked, soaked and germinated), then seasoned with onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin and coriander to make b1, b2 and b3 formulas. Chemical, physical properties, amino acids and sensory evaluation of instant porridge formulas were determined.
