Health hazards related to conidia of Cladosporium—biological air pollutants in Poland, central Europe

The spores of Cladosporium Link. are often present in the air in high quantities and produce many allergenic proteins, which may lead to asthma. An aerobiological spore monitoring program can inform patients about the current spore concentration in air and help their physicians determine the spore dose that is harmful for a given individual. This makes it possible to develop optimized responses and propose personalized therapy for a particular sensitive patient. The aim of this study was to assess the extent of the human health hazard posed by the fungal genus Cladosporium. For the first time, we have determined the number of days on which air samples in Poland exceeded the concentrations linked to allergic responses of sensitive patients, according to thresholds established by three different groups（2800/3000/4000 spores per 1 m^3 of the air）. The survey was conducted over three consecutive growing seasons（April–September, 2010–2012） in three cities located in different climate zones of Poland（Poznan, Lublin and Rzeszow）. The average number of days exceeding 2800 spores per cubic meter（the lowest threshold） ranged from 61（2010） through 76（2011） to 93（2012）, though there was significant variation between cities. In each year the highest concentration of spores in the air was detected in either Poznan or Lublin, both located on large plains with intensive agriculture. We have proposed that an effective, science-based software platform to support policy-making on air quality should incorporate biological air pollutant data,such as allergenic fungal spores and pollen grains.

The Politics of Human Perfection and the Politics of Human Imperfection： Chantal Mouffe versus Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens on European Inequalities

The title of this paper refers to Michael Oakeshott＇s distinction between the politics of faith and the politics of scepticism. The ＂faith＂ expresses a belief in the capacity of government to concentrate all the power and resources upon the project of human improvement and perfection, while the ＂scepticism＂ is the politics of the powerless in which government cannot produce perfection and enjoys only limited opportunity of directing the activities of its subjects. The aim of this article is to revise Oakeshott＇s distinction in order to apply it to the discussion on inequalities affecting Europe. This discussion held by Chantal Mouffe, Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens focused on issues such as： modern patterns of inequality, the coexistence of different ethnic, religious and political forms of life, ＂legitimization＂ of social inequalities, the institutionalization of norms of equality, the problem of recognition, the common identity and so on. The key question is： How the values of equality and justice are best realized in the structure of modern society？ To answer this question, it is necessary not only to assess critilically the authority of governments, but also to examine possible ways of development of the idea of liberal democracy and power relations in contemporary political socidtts. What is our perspective on the way to solve these problems--the reinvention of politics or democratizing democracy？ Even if this research will not help us to find the best political project, however we may be less often cheated in this discussion by irrelevant and ambiguous arguments.

中波关系从一开始就复杂而含糊不清。到目前为止,只有少数研究者试图对两个国家间的相互关系与合作进行更深入地研究。在两国关系中从一开始就存在着一种障碍,像世界强国总是试图让其盟友间保持紧密关系,并且不让他们对世界强国的对手奉行独立政策。在中国的全球倡议开始时——新丝绸之路——两国关系发生了巨大的变化。本论文《21世纪的中波关系——“一带一路”对两国关系的促进作用研究》的目的是描述中华人民共和国与波兰共和国互相关系发展过程、贸易交换并且分析“一带一路”倡议和《17+1合作》如何促进双方的合作。本文的主要假设是:“中国与波兰在“一带一路”合作下由于带来了波兰诸多盈利和提高它在国际舞台上的地位,因此会引起两个国家的关系将来很可能变得更密切”。为了寻找近年来中波关系快速发展的原因并且能够更好地理解这个话题本文在防御性现实主义理论的基础上采用文献研究法。然后为了更充分地研究这个假设,在这里两个问题被提出:一、波兰的地理位置如何影响它的外交政策?二、波兰在欧盟里提高自己的地位对中波的关系会带来什么影响?本文引用的参考文献基本上是波兰文和中文。在这两种语言中大多数文献的目的是从两个方面介绍相互关系,并将其融合到更全面的研究中。为了更深入地了解中波关系的各个方面以及西方国家对中波关系的分析,在这里几个英文文献也被提出。本文从一个全新的视角来分析中波关系及其未来,将对已有的研究做出重要贡献。同时,由于此话题的中文参考文献资源不足,所以本论文可以促进中国对整个中东欧地区和波兰的研究更加多元化。论文由导论、正文(分三个章节)、结论和参考文献组成。导论部分介绍本文的研究背景、研究内容和意义。第一章介绍波兰对西方和非西方国家奉行的外交政策,以及历史和地理位置是如何塑造它的外交政策的。第二章描述新丝绸之路和在此倡议下出现的区域合作。最后一章深入地研究了在新丝绸之路和区域合作下的双边关系以及这种的情况对两国经济和国际地位产生的影响。然后在结论里对最重要的问题给予了答案,并提供了证据表明随着新丝绸之路的发展和区域合作中波关系将在未来变得非常密切。

The Effect of Chemical Composition and Thermal Sprayed Method on the Chromium and Tungsten Carbides Coatings Microstructure

The microstructure, phase consistence and microhardness of thermal sprayed coatings were investigated. The tungsten and chromium carbide coatings and also composite NiCrSiB coating were analyzed. The microstructure of coatings were observed by using optical microscopy (MO), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Almost equiaxial carbide particles settled inside the surrounded material of coating were found. The cracks propagating thorough the particles and along boundaries between the particles and surrounded material were observed. This phenomenon was connected with the porosity of coatings. The decarburization process was detected in coatings by phase composition investigation using X-ray method. The decarburization process was the reason due to which beside initial Cr3C2 the Cr7C3 and Cr23C6 particles were found. In the tungsten coatings beside the initial WC carbides the W2Cones were found.

The Nutritional Value of Yellow Lupine (Lupinus luteus)for Growing Pigs

The aim of the study was a comparison of the composition and apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of nutrients in the seeds of two varieties of yellow lupine (YL). Moreover, an examination of the level of soybean meal (SBM) substitution by YL meal and in a combination with rapeseed meal (RSM) on the pigs’ performance was performed. In a digestibility trial, 30 male pigs were tested using a marker method. In two growth experiments, 60 pigs (in each) were fed diets where SBM was replaced by YL in 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% or by a mixture of RSM and YL or by both these components. The chemical composition of varieties differed among crude protein (CP), fiber, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and fat. The digestibility coefficients of protein, fat and gross energy were similar for both varieties. The substitution of SBM with YL did not negatively affect the pigs’ performance. A mixture of RSM with YL had no negative effect on growth parameters, except for the starter phase, when a level of above 15% RSM in the diet reduced the pigs’ gains. In conclusion, YL alone and with RSM may be a sustainable alternative to SBM in pig nutrition.
