The substitution box,often known as an s-box,is a nonlinear component that is a part of several block *** purpose is to protect cryptographic algorithms from a variety of cryptanalytic assaults.A Multi-Criteria Decision Making(MCDM)problem has a complex selection procedure because of having many options and criteria to choose *** of this,statistical methods are necessary to assess the performance score of each s-box and decide which option is the best one available based on this *** the Pythagorean Fuzzy-based Technique for Order of Preference by similarity to Ideal solution(TOPsIs)method,the major objective of this investigation is to select the optimal s-box to be implemented from a pool of twelve key *** the help of the Pythagorean fuzzy set(PFs),the purpose of this article is to evaluate whether this nonlinear component is suitable for use in a variety of encryption *** this article,we have considered various characteristics of s-boxes,including nonlinearity,algebraic degree,strict avalanche criterion(sAC),absolute indicator,bit independent criterion(BIC),sum of square indicator,algebraic immunity,transparency order,robustness to differential cryptanalysis,composite algebraic immunity,signal to noise ratio-differential power attack(sNR-DPA),and confusion coefficient variance on some standard s-boxes that are Advanced Encryption Following this,the findings of the investigation are changed into Pythagorean fuzzy numbers in the shape of a *** matrix is then subjected to an analysis using the TOPsIs method,which is dependent on the Pythagorean fuzzy set,to rank the most suitable s-box for use in encryption applications.

Combined Moho Parameters Determination Using CRUsT1.0 and Vening Meinesz-Moritz Model

According to Vening Meinesz-Moritz （VMM） global inverse isostatic problem, either the Moho density contrast （crust-mantle density contrast） or the Moho geometry can be estimated by solv- ing a non-linear Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. Here solutions to the two Moho parame- ters are presented by combining the global geopotential model （GOCO-03s）, topography （DTM2006） and a seismic crust model, the latter being the recent digital global crustal model （CRUsT1.0） with a resolution of 1°×1°. The numerical results show that the estimated Moho density contrast varies from 21 to 637 kg/m3, with a global average of 321 kg/m^3, and the estimated Moho depth varies from 6 to 86 km with a global average of 24 km. Comparing the Moho density contrasts estimated using our least-squares method and those derived by the CRUsT1.0, CRUsT2.0, and PREM models shows that our estimate agrees fairly well with CRUsT1.0 model and rather poor with other models. The estimated Moho depths by our least-squares method and the CRUsT1.0 model agree to 4.8 km in RMs and with the GEMMA1.0 based model to 6.3 km.

As the number of immigration and their later generations grow in the workforce of more developed Western countries, understanding the processes and consequences of acculturation has gained a new level of importance. An old and re-emerging issue is the morality and reparative behavior in Western versus Eastern cultures, as well as its antecedents and consequences. We examined the effects of acculturation on the perception of psychological proximity, the intensity of moral emotions of shame and guilt, and the degree of compensation to victims of one＇s wrongdoing. Our sample was comprised of a collectivistic group from a shame culture, China, and an acculturated group of Chinese living in a much less collectivistic society of a guilt culture, Canada. Our results indicated that participants＇ perception of psychological proximity to other people and the level of compensation offered to the victims of transgression were significantly different among the two samples. Furthermore, shame and guilt mediated the relationship between perceived psychological proximity and the decision to compensate differently.

We investigated the effect of the 2-mercaptobenzothiazole concentration on the sour-corrosion behavior of API X60 pipeline steel in an environment containing H_(2)s at 25°C and in the presence of 0,2.5,5.0,7.5,and 10.0 g/L of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole *** examine this behavior,we conducted open-circuit potential(OCP),potentiodynamic polarization,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIs)*** dispersive spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy were also used to analyze the corrosion *** results of the OCP and potentiodynamic polarization tests revealed that 2-mercaptobenzothiazole reduces the speed of both the anodic and cathodic *** assessment of the Gibbs free energy of the inhibitor(△G_(ads)^(■))indicated that its value was less than-20 kJ·mol^(-1)and greater than-40 k J·mol^(-1).Therefore,the adsorption of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole onto the surface of the API X60 pipeline steel occurs both physically and chemically,the latter of which is particularly *** addition,as the△G_(ads)^(■)dsvalue was negative,we could conclude that the adsorption of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole onto the surface of the pipeline steel occurs *** EIs results indicate that with the increase in the 2-mercaptobenzothiazole inhibitor concentration,the corrosion resistance of API X60 steel *** analysis of the corrosion products revealed that iron sulfide compounds form on the *** summary,the results showed that an increase in the inhibitor concentration results in a decrease in the corrosion rate and an increase in inhibitory ***,we found that the 2-mercaptobenzothiazole adsorption process on the API X60 steel surfaces in an H2 s-containing environment follows the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and occurs spontaneously.

Laser-assisted growth of hierarchically architectured 2D Mos2 crystals on metal substrate for potential energy applications

Recently, there has been substantial interest in the large-scale synthesis of hierarchically architectured transition metal dichalcogenides and designing electrodes for energy conversion and storage applications such as electrocatalysis, rechargeable batteries, and supercapacitors. Here we report a novel hybrid laser-assisted micro/nanopatterning and sulfurization method for rapid manufacturing of hierarchically architectured molybdenum disulfide (Mos2) layers directly on molybdenum sheets. This laser surface structuring not only provides the ability to design specific micro/nanostructured patterns but also significantly enhances the crystal growth kinetics. Micro and nanoscale characterization methods are employed to study the morphological, structural, and atomistic characteristics of the formed crystals at various laser processing and crystal growth conditions. To compare the performance characteristics of the laser-structured and unstructured samples, Li-ion battery cells are fabricated and their energy storage capacity is measured. The hierarchically architectured Mos2 crystals show higher performance with specific capacities of about 10 mAh cm-2, at a current rate of 0.1 mA cm-2. This rapid laser patterning and growth of 2D materials directly on conductive sheets may enable the future large-scale and roll-to-roll manufacturing of energy and sensing devices.

smart home devices are vulnerable to a variety of *** matter gets more complicated when a number of devices collaborate to launch a colluding attack(e.g.,Distributed-Denial-of-service(DDos))in a network(e.g.,smart home).To handle these attacks,most studies have hitherto proposed authentication protocols that cannot necessarily be implemented in devices,especially during Device-to-Device(D2D)*** into the potential of Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts,this work proposes a lightweight authentication mechanism that enables safe D2D interactions in a smart *** Ethereum blockchain enables the implementation of a decentralized prototype as well as a peer-to-peer distributed ledger *** work also uses a single server queuing system model and the authentication mechanism to curtail DDos attacks by controlling the number of service requests in the *** simulation was conducted twenty times,each with varying number of devices chosen at random(ranging from 1 to 30).Each requester device sends an arbitrary request with a unique resource requirement at a *** is done to measure the system's consistency across a variety of device *** experimental results show that the proposed protocol not only prevents colluding attacks,but also outperforms the benchmark protocols in terms of computational cost,message processing,and response times.

The Effect of Normative Expectations on Employees＇ Intrinsic Interest in Creativity： Is There also a Mediating Mechanism？

As the core element of a firm＇s innovation capabilities and the source of firm growth, increasing employee creativity is a primary goal of organizations. Based on social cognitive theory, role theory, and creativity theory, this paper investigates the relationship between perception of normative expectations and employees＇ intrinsic interest in creativity, as well as explores the role of self-efficacy in this relationship. We use data from a survey questionnaire of 2,035 employees from 185 firms in different geographic locations across China. Our empirical findings reveal that when employees perceive a normative expectation coming from leaders, family or customers, coupled with the fear of failing to satisfy the expectations of those referent groups, it positively and significantly affects their intrinsic interest in creativity. In addition, self-efficacy not only positively and significantly affects employees＇ intrinsic interest in creativity, but also plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between the perception of expectation and employees＇ intrinsic interest in creativity.
