In the present study,composites of Polyaniline and some fruit peels were synthesized in various conditions and used for lead removal from aqueous *** tests were conducted in batch mode using the most efficient adsorbent,and the effects of medium pH,initial lead concentration,contact time,adsorbent dosage,and adsorption isotherms were *** results showed that all composites were more efficient in lead removal compared to the fruit peels *** highest removal percentage was related to the composite of banana peel and Polyaniline that synthesized in the aqueous solution in the presence of 2 g·L^(-1) Poly ethylene *** composite showed 95.96%lead adsorption at pH=6,the contact time of 90 min,the initial lead concentration of 25 mg·L^(-1),and an adsorbent concentration of 8 g·L^(-1).Adsorption isotherm study showed that adsorption of lead by synthesized composite could be fitted by both Langmuir and Freundlich models,but the Langmuir model was more fitted than ***,some characteristics of the composites,such as chemical composition(XRD analysis),structure,and morphology(SEM analysis)and functional groups(FTIR analysis),were studied.

H-ZSM-5 zeolite was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The effects of different synthesis parameters, such as hydrothermal crystallization temperature （170-190 ℃） and Si/A1 molar ratio （100-150）, on the catalytic performance of the dehydration of methanol to dimethyl ether （DME） over the synthesized H-ZSM-5 zeolite were studied. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, XRD, NH3-TPD, TGA/DTA, and SEM techniques. The full factorial design of experiments was applied to the synthesis of H-ZSM-5 zeolite and the effects of synthesis conditions and their interaction on the yield of DME as the response variable were determined. Analysis of variance showed that two variables and their interaction significantly affected the response. According to the experimental results, the optimized catalyst prepared at 170℃ with the Si/A1 molar ratio of 100 showed the best catalytic performance among the tested H-ZSM-5 zeolite.

A highly efficient and environmentally benign protocol for the synthesis of 2-amino-5,7-dimethoxy-4- aryl/alkyl-4H-chromene-3-carbonitrile derivatives by one-pot three-component coupling reacting of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile and 3,5-dimethoxy phenol under reflux condition has been developed in aqueous EtOH media using Na2O-Al2O3-P2O5 glass-ceramic system.

Determination of chilling and heat requirements of pistachio （Pistacia vera L.） cultivars is important for satisfactory growth and development, particularly when large-scale commercial production is desired. This experiment was conducted to determine chilling requirement inducing vegetative and flower buds of Kalle-Ghuchi, Owhadi, Ahmad-Ahgaei, and Akbari pistachio. Shoots with enough vegetative and flower buds were taken from pistachio trees during autumn 2007 and 2008 when temperature reached to 15°C. Cuttings with flower buds were kept under （5 ± 1）°C for 0, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 950, 1 000, 1 050, 1 100, 1 150, 1 200, 1 250, and 1 300 h, respectively, and cuttings with vegetative buds were kept at 51°C until 1 500 h. The results indicated that pistachio cultivars requite chilling time between 750-1 400 h and heat requirements between 8 852-15 420 growing degree hours （GDH）. Consequently, Kalle-Ghuchi had the lowest chilling （750-950 h）, and heat （8 852-9 768 GDH） requirements, Ahmad-Aghaei and Owhadi had intermediate （1 000-1 250 h, 10 656- 13 320 GDH） and Akbari had the highest chilling （1 200-1 400 h） and heat （11 863-15 420 GDH） requirement.

Using seismic attributes as features for classification in feature space, in various aims such as seismic facies analysis, is conventional for the purpose of seismic interpretation. But sometimes seismic data may have no attributes or it is hard to define a small and relevant set of attributes in some applica- tions. Therefore, employing techniques that perform facies modeling without using attributes is neces- sary. In this paper we present a new method for facies modeling of seismic data with missing attributes that called dissimilarity based classification. In this method, classification is based on dissimilarities and facies modeling will be done in dissimilarity space. In this space dissimilarities consider as new features instead of real features. A support vector machine as a powerful classifier was employed in both feature space （feature-based） and dissimilarity space （feature-less） for facies analysis. The proposed feature-less and feature-based classification is applied on a real seismic data from an Iranian oil field. Facies model- ing using seismic attributes provide better results, but the feature-less classification outcome is also satis- factory and the facies correlation is acceptable. Indeed, the power of attributes to discriminate different facies causes to that facies analysis using attributes provide more reliable results comparing to feature- less facies analysis.

A series of mesoporous nanocrystalline silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO)zeolites (SAPO-34)were synthesized via an ultrasonic and microwave-assisted hydrothermal method in the presence of [3- (trimethoxysilyl)propyl]octadecyldimethylammonium chloride and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide surfactants as soft *** and cerium were then doped on SAPO-34using incorporation and impregnation methods,and all the catalysts were applied to the methanol-to-olefin (MTO)reaction. The catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction,field-emission scanning electron microcopy, inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy,Fourier- transform infrared spectroscopy,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis,NH3temperature-programmed desorption analysis,and thermogravimetric *** the impregnation method,the effect of using protic or aprotic solvents as impregnation media on the physico-chemical properties of the metal-based SAPO-34was *** and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)were employed as the protic and aprotic solvents,*** catalyst prepared using the aprotic DMF solvent exhibited higher dispersion and lower aggregation of metal species compared with that prepared using the protic water ***,the sample synthesized using the incorporation method exhibited good catalytic performance;however,the Ni-Ce[SAPO-34 sample prepared using the impregnation method and aprotic DMF solvent exhibited superior catalytic performance in the MTO reaction.

Specifications of inclusions such as the type, morphology, number, composition, size, and place of inclusions in HK40 heat-resistant casting steel were studied by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy equipped with an energy-dispersive spectroscopy system. The effects of calcium silicide （CaSi） addition on these characteristics were evaluated at two pouring temperatures of 1420℃ and 1470℃. It was found that most of the appeared inclusions were in the type of chromium oxide. CaSi addition had a significant effect on the morphological modification, size and distribution of inclusions as well as changing the composition to oxide-sulfide compounds.

Background:This study analysed the multi-temporal trend in land cover,and modelled a future scenario of land cover for the year 2030 in the highly urbanized state of Selangor,*** study used a Decision Forest-Markov chain model in the land change modeller(LCM)tool of TerrSet *** cover maps of 1999,2006 and 2017 were classified into 5 classes,namely water,natural vegetation,agriculture,built-up land and cleared land.A simulated land cover map of 2017 was validated against the actual land cover map *** Area Under the Curve(AUC)value of 0.84 of Total Operating Characteristics(TOC)and higher percentage of components of agreement(Hits+Correct rejection)compared to components of disagreement(Misses+False alarm+Wrong hits)indicated successful validation of the ***:The results showed between the years 1999 to 2017 there was an increase in built-up land cover of 608.8 km^(2)(7.5%),and agricultural land 285.5 km^(2)(3.5%),whereas natural vegetation decreased by 831.8 km^(2)(10.2%).The simulated land cover map of 2030 showed a continuation of this trend,where built-up area is estimated to increase by 723 km^(2)(8.9%),and agricultural land is estimated to increase by 57.2 km^(2)(0.7%),leading to a decrease of natural vegetation by 663.9 km^(2)(8.1%)for the period 2017 to *** spatial trend of land cover change shows built-up areas mostly located in central Selangor where the highly urbanized and populated cities of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya and the Klang valley are ***:The future land cover modelling indicates that built-up expansion mostly takes place at edges of existing urban *** results of this study can be used by policy makers,urban planners and other stakeholders for future decision making and city planning.

The relationship between the microstructure and the practical performance of two different copper-beryllium alloys including their lifetime has been ***,two valves made of two different alloys with very similar compositions and the same heat treatment methods were investigated by various standard techniques including metallography,X-ray diffraction,chemical composition,microhardness,and thermal conductivity *** both alloys experienced the same heat-treatment processes,they revealed different thermal and mechanical properties due to the minor difference in their chemical *** alloy providing a longer lifetime (40%more) as the tip had a higher thermal conductivity of 280.3 W(m·K)^(-1) (about two times that of the other alloy).Regarding the metallography images and the measured thermal conductivity values of the alloys,the extended lifetime of the nozzle with the optimum performance is ascribed to its biphasic microstructure and the minor grain boundaries and interfacial thermal *** important difference in the chemical composition was investigated in this study.
