In recent years,mudflows have emerged as a significant threat to infrastructure and lives,exhibiting increased frequency and *** study collectively addresses the rising threat of natural hazards,specifically mudflows in mountain-foothill zones in Tajikistan,utilizing UAV and remote sensing technologies to monitor their *** 2020 to 2023,we employed a QC-2 Micro UAV and a DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter to capture high-resolution aerial imagery across multiple affected districts,supplemented by pre-and post-event Sentinel-2 images analyzed using the Normalized Difference Water Index(NDWI)and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI).Our analysis revealed that 49 districts and cities experienced significant mudflow events,resulting in estimated damages and economic losses of 30.2 million USD,with particularly severe impacts noted in the Khuroson,Tojikobod,Vakhsh,Panjakent,Lakhsh,and *** composition of mudflows in the six studied areas predominantly consisted of clay,with some regions featuring mudstone and a few exhibiting a mixture of both *** findings indicate the predominance of rain-induced mudflows in foothill areas,contrasting with rain-snow,glacial,and lake-outburst-induced mudflows in mountainous *** underscores the urgent need for effective disaster risk management strategies in vulnerable *** UAV and remote sensing technologies provides crucial information for analyzing damages,identifying vulnerable areas,and advising emergency response efforts,thereby enhancing disaster risk management in Tajikistan.

Adsorptive polyethesulfone(PES)membranes were prepared by intercalation of powder activated carbon(PAC)with and without ***,PAC was aminated with 1,5-diamino-2-methylpentane,and the physicochemical properties of the functionalized PAC were *** of PAC within the PES scaffold changed the porosity and mean pore size of the aminated membrane(AC-NH2)from 52.6%to 92.5%and from 22.6 nm to 3.5 nm,*** effect of temperature on the performance of the modified mem-branes was monitored by the flux and chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal of *** ambient tempera-ture,the COD removal of the neat,AC-containing,and AC-NH2 membranes was 47%,52%,and 58.5%,respec-tively.A similar increment was obtained for the membrane flux,which was due to the synergistic effect of the high porosity and large number of hydrophilic functional *** experimental leachate adsorption data were analyzed by Langmuir,Freundlich,and Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm *** all membranes,the significant thermodynamic parameters(ΔH,ΔS,and ΔG)were calculated and *** isosteric heat of adsorption was lower than 80 kJ·mol^-1,indicating that the interaction between the membranes and the leachate is mainly physical,involving weak van der Waals forces.

Conservation tillage,residue management and optimizing nitrogen(N)fertilization are important stra-tegies for soil and water conservation and sustainability of agricultural *** order to evaluate the effects of various residue management methods and N fertilizer rates on some soil quality indicators,accumulation of residual soil nitrate,and wheat yield under no till system,a split-plot experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with three *** plots were three residue management methods,including retaining(R.M1),removing(R.M2)and shredding(R.M3)of corn *** subplots consisted of four N fertilizer rates,100(N1),150(N2),200(N3),and 250(N4)kg N ha^(-1) from urea *** results showed that soil organic carbon and total N in R.M1 and R.M3 treatments increased at the depth of 0-15 cm as compared to *** maximum accumulation of soil nitrate was observed in R.M1 x N4 and R.M3 x N4 interactions at the soil depth of *** results of this study showed that R.M1 x N3 and R.M3 x N3 interactions had a greater impact on wheat yield than the sole effect of R.M1 or *** to our findings,application of 200 kg N ha^(-1) in combination with R.M1 which had once less tractor passing for mechanical shredding than R.M3,can contribute effectively to improve soil quality indicators,control soil residual nitrate and subsequently produce more wheat grain yield in the south-west of Iran.

In this paper,we consider the impatient customers in M/M/1 queueing model under variant working vacation *** customer’s impatience is due to its arrival during a working vacation period,where the service rate of the customer is lower than a normal busy *** the system is non-empty when the server returns from the working vacation,the server resumes the normal service ***,the server will take successive working vacations till it reaches the maximum number of K working vacations and then the server remains idle until the next ***-form probabilities are obtained by using the identities involving beta functions and degenerate hypergeometric functions,and the performance measures of the system are derived using generating *** stochastic decomposition structures of the mean queue length and mean waiting time are *** effects of the system parameters on some performance measures had been numerically illustrated.

The influence of a third-body's orbital elements on the second-body's motion in a hierarchical triple system is a crucial problem in *** prolonged evaluation studies have focused on a distant zero-inclined *** study presents a new perspective on second-body motion equations that addresses a perturbing-body in an elliptic orbit derived with consideration of the axial-tilt(obliquity)of the *** proposed model is compared by the dual-averaged method and the N-body problem *** validation,a generalized threebody model is derived to investigate the effects of the third-body's orbital elements on secondary-body motion *** proposed model considers short-time oscillations that affect secular evaluation and applies to exoplanets with all the primary and third body eccentricities,inclinations,and mass *** is shown that the obliquity of the primary(or third-body's inclination)must be considered for precise long-term assessment,even in highly-hierarchical systems.

A novel design of plate-type microchannel reactor has been developed for fuel cell-grade hydrogen *** Cu/Zn/Al2O3 was used as catalyst for the reforming reaction,and its effectiveness was evaluated on the mole fraction of products,methanol conversion,hydrogen yield and the amount of carbon monoxide under various operating ***,0.5 wt% Ru/Al2O3 as methanation catalyst was prepared by impregnation method and coupled with MSR step to evaluate the capability of methanol processor for CO *** on the experimental results,the optimum conditions were obtained as feed flow rate of 5mL/h and temperature of 250℃,leading to a low CO selectivity and high H2 *** designed reformer with catalyst coated layer was compared with the conventional packed bed reformer at the same operating *** constructed fuel processor had a good performance and excellent capability for on-board hydrogen production.

Boris numerical scheme due to its long-time stability,accuracy and conservative properties has been widely applied in many studies of magnetized *** algorithms conserve the phase space volume and hence provide accurate charge particle ***,this algorithm does not conserve the energy in some special electromagnetic configurations,particularly for long simulation ***,we empirically analyze the energy behavior of Boris algorithm by applying it to a 2D autonomous *** energy behavior of the Boris method is found to be strongly related to the integrability of our Hamiltonian *** find that if the invariant tori is preserved under Boris discretization,the energy error can be bounded for an exponentially long time,otherwise the said error will show a linear *** the contrary,for a non-integrable Hamiltonian system,a random walk pattern has been observed in the energy error.
