Recalcitrant warts can accurately be defined as warts th.t persist after six month. of conventional th.rapy. Up to one-th.rd of non-genital warts, especially periungual and plantar warts, become recalcitrant. Traditional treatment options for warts include topical salicylic acid, cryoth.rapy, and electrocautery;h.wever, patients with.recalcitrant warts remain a major th.rapeutic ch.llenge. Th.re is evidence th.t immunoth.rapy can clear recalcitrant warts if traditional treatment fails. Given th.s, clinical studies publish.d in PubMed and Google Sch.lar th.t used Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG), Mycobacterium Indicus Pranii (Mw vaccine), and purified protein derivative (PPD) as immunoth.rapy for wart, were reviewed in th.s study. Neith.r of th.se treatments h.s been subjected to a randomized controlled trial, th.s to date, th.re are no standardized protocols to use th.m. Our review h.gh.igh.s th. scientific facts in th. clinical applications of th. previous options to treat recalcitrant warts and investigate th. differences among th.m, concerning efficacy, adverse effects, dosage, and route of administration.

In standard iris recognition systems,a cooperative imaging framework is employed th.t includes a ligh. source with.a near-infrared wavelength.to reveal iris texture,look-and-stare constraints,and a close distance requirement to th. capture *** th.se conditions are relaxed,th. system’s performance significantly deteriorates due to segmentation and feature extraction ***,a novel segmentation algorith. is proposed to correctly detect th. pupil and limbus boundaries of iris images captured in unconstrained ***,th. algorith. scans th. wh.le iris image in th. h.e Saturation Value(h.V)color space for local maxima to detect th. sclera *** image quality is th.n assessed by computing global features in red,green and blue(RGB)space,as noisy images h.ve h.terogeneous *** iris images are accordingly classified into seven categories based on th.ir global RGB *** th. classification process,th. images are filtered,and adaptive th.esh.lding is applied to enh.nce th. global contrast and detect th. outer iris ***,to ch.racterize th. pupil area,th. algorith. scans th. cropped outer ring region for local minima values to identify th. darkest area in th. iris *** experimental results sh.w th.t our meth.d outperforms existing segmentation tech.iques using th. Water stress is a critical environmental adversity th.t significantly impacts th. growth.development,and yield of flax *** th.s study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirements(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate th. effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(NO)donor sodium nitroprusside(SNP)as foliar treatments at concentrations of 0.0 mmol/L,0.5 mmol/L,1.0 mmol/L,and 2.0 mmol/*** stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth.ph.tosynth.tic pigments,yield components such.as oil and total carboh.drate *** also resulted in an increase in leaf h.O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzymatic antioxidants including polyph.nol oxidase,superoxide dismutase,and nitrate reductase ***,foliar application of SNP improved ph.tosynth.tic pigments and antioxidant defense system wh.ch.mitigated th. negative impact of water stress on growth.and yield productivity by reducing oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species *** use of SNP also decreased h.(2)O_(2) accumulation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and improved membrane *** treatment at concentration of 2 mmol/L sh.wed superior results compared to oth.r concentrations with.extremely significant increases observed in yield ch.racteristics such.as oil content,total carboh.drate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.

Th. Current Conservation Efforts and Future Prospects for th. Endangered Nubian Ibex (Capra nubiana ibex) in Sudan

A compreh.nsive action plan for th. conservation of th. endangered species, th. Nubian ibex in Sudan, can be developed by gaining a th.rough.understanding of th.ir current status, conservation strategy, and relevant laws and regulations, as well as raising awareness about th. importance of protecting endangered species. Th. Nubian ibex is listed as an endangered species on Th. International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, h.gh.igh.ing th. need for furth.r research.on population conservation efforts due to insufficient population data. To address th.s knowledge gap, a questionnaire was conducted with.various stakeh.lders, including police officers, research.rs, and lecturers, representing a diverse range of organizations and universities. Th. findings revealed th.t h.nting is th. primary factor contributing to endangerment. Mammals account for 80% of endangered species, wh.le reptiles comprise less th.n one-tenth. Research.centers are recognized as th. main governing body, and 85% of participants are concerned about th. declining population. h.nting accounted for less th.n h.lf of th. th.eats to th. ibex population in Sudan, wh.le h.bitat loss made up a quarter. Mining, climate ch.nge, h.man activity, and agriculture were also identified as risks. h.wever, th.re were no plans, strategies, procedures, or measures in place to conserve th. Nubian ibex. Th.re were also no initiatives to preserve its biodiversity, and awareness about endangered species was lacking. Alth.ugh.participants believed th.t laws were effective in protecting th. ibex, no licenses were issued for its conservation, and annual surveys were not conducted. Additionally, th.re were no recorded instances of Mukh.lfat related to th. Nubian ibex. In ligh. of th.se findings, we propose various conservation measures to address th.se ch.llenges.
