Background: Complications linked to postpartum & pregnancy are one of the major causes of female death. In order to understand the causes of complications and encourage women to take sufficient action in order to receive emergency treatment, a critical step should therefore be taken to minimize complications related to pregnancy, in order to ensure the safety of both women and newborns. Aim of the work: Evaluate the effectiveness of the education programs for pregnant women on obstetric danger signs in rural areas and help minimize the incidence of pregnancy loss and comorbidities. Methods: A quasi-experimental design on 70 women from a population of through 372 women in six-month in antenatal clinics recruited from the previously mentioned settings with pre- and post-test was conducted at antenatal clinics (M.C.H centers) affiliated to the available geographical health zones in EL-fayoum rural area including: Al-sheikh hassan at sanorse. Suppression of NLRP3 inflammasome by ivermectin ameliorates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis

Ivermectin is a US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)-approved antiparasitic agent with antiviral and anti-inflammatory *** recent studies reported the possible anti-inflammatory activity of ivermectin in respiratory injuries,its potential therapeutic effect on pulmonary fibrosis(PF)has not been *** study aimed to explore the ability of ivermectin(0.6 mg/kg)to alleviate bleomycin-induced biochemical derangements and histological changes in an experimental PF rat *** can provide the means to validate the clinical utility of ivermectin as a treatment option for idiopathic *** results showed that ivermectin mitigated the bleomycin-evoked pulmonary injury,as manifested by the reduced infiltration of inflammatory cells,as well as decreased the inflammation and fibrosis ***,ivermectin decreased collagen fiber deposition and suppressed transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)and fibronectin protein expression,highlighting its anti-fibrotic *** study revealed for the first time that ivermectin can suppress the nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome,as manifested by the reduced gene expression of NLRP3 and the apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain(ASC),with a subsequent decline in the interleukin-1β(IL-1β)*** addition,ivermectin inhibited the expression of intracellular nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)and hypoxia‑inducible factor‑1α(HIF-1α)proteins along with lowering the oxidative stress and apoptotic ***,this study revealed that ivermectin could ameliorate pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis induced by *** beneficial effects were mediated,at least partly,via the downregulation of TGF-β1 and fibronectin,as well as the suppression of NLRP3 inflammasome through modulating the expression of HIF‑1αand NF-κB.

Thyme oil and thymol abrogate doxorubicin-induced nephrotoxicity and cardiotoxicity in Wistar rats via repression of oxidative stress and enhancement of antioxidant defense mechanisms

This study aimed to assess the preventive effects of thyme oil and thymol on doxorubicin(DOX)-induced renotoxicity,cardiotoxicity,and oxidative stress in Wistar *** oil was subjected to GC-MS analysis,which indicated that thymol was the major constituent representing 33.896%.Rats intraperitoneally injected with DOX at a dose of 2 mg/kg b.w./one per week for 7 weeks were co-treated with thyme oil and its major constituent,thymol,at doses 250 and 100 mg/kg b.w./every other day,respectively,by oral gavage for the same *** oil and thymol markedly ameliorated the raised levels of serum urea,uric acid,and creatinine in DOX-administered *** also reduced the elevated activities of serum CK-MB and *** oil was more effective than thymol in decreasing the elevated serum creatinine level and serum CK-MB activity in DOX-administered rats,thereby reflecting its more potent effect on kidney and heart *** peroxidation significantly decreased while GSH level and GST and GPx activities significantly increased in kidney and heart of DOX-administered rats treated with thyme oil and *** DOX-induced perturbed kidney histological changes including congestion of glomerulus tuft,inflammatory cells infiltration,protein cast in lumina of the renal tubule,and thickening of the parietal layer of Bowman’s capsule were remarkably ameliorated as a result of treatment with thyme oil and thymol;thyme oil was more *** addition,DOX-induced deleterious heart histological alterations,including intramuscular infiltration of inflammatory cells,focal necrosis of cardiac myocytes,and edema,were remarkably reduced by treatment with thyme oil and ***,it can be concluded that DOX could induce marked toxicity in kidney and heart,and the treatment with thyme oil or thymol produced potential improvement of kidney and heart function and histological integrity via repression of oxidative stress and enhancement of antioxidant defense mechanisms.

电解液的固有缺陷以及锂枝晶问题严重限制了当前商业化锂离子电池的发展.为了解决上述问题,本文通过控制加入纳米填料的形状,获得了具有仿生脑状纳米结构的固态聚合物电解质(BBLN).与传统复合聚合物固态电解质不同,我们通过添加球状核壳UIO-66@67纳米填料制备了具有仿生脑状纳米结构的固态聚合物电解质.球状UIO-66@67纳米颗粒能够有效减小聚合物基质在固化过程中的形变,从而促进形成独特的仿生脑状纳米结构.此外,球状纳米颗粒能够有效降低聚合物电解质的结晶度,提高其链段运动能力,形成连续的锂离子传输路径.基于此,仿生脑状固态聚合物电解质具有高离子电导率(9.2×10^(−4)S cm^(−1)),高锂离子迁移数(0.74)和良好的锂金属兼容性(>6500 h).本研究中提出的仿生脑状纳米结构的设计理念是一种有效增强固态电池中聚合物基电解质的离子输运的新策略.

The Gain Distribution According to the Theoretical Structure and Decay Dynamics of Sodium like Cu

Level structure, oscillator strengths, transition probabilities and radiative life times are evaluated for 1s2 2s2 2p63l, 4l, 5l (l = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) states in sodium like Cu18+. The calculations are carried out using COWAN code. The calculations were made are compared with other results in literature where a good agreement is found, we also report on some unpublished energy values and oscillator strengths. Our results are used in the calculation of reduced population of 21 fine structure levels over a wide rang of electron density values (1018 to 1020) and at various electron plasma temperature. For those transitions with positive population inversion factor, the gain coefficients are evaluated and plotted against the electron density.

Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation of Bisphenol A in Aqueous Solution by Ag-Doping ZnO

The metal-doping into the photocatalyst was evaluated for the photocatalytic degradation of bisphenol A in aqueous solution with ZnO powder. Au/ZnO, Ag/ZnO and Cu/ZnO were tested in the present work. Ag-doping ZnO was effective for the improvement of efficiency for the photocatalytic degradation of bisphenol A in water. The optimum doping concentration of silver was found to be 3 wt%. The pseudo first-order rate constant with 3 wt% Ag/ZnO was 1.3 times better compared with bare ZnO. The photocatalytic degradation of treatment for the wastewater containing bisphenol A is simple, easy handling and low cost.
