Midgut volvulus is a clinical rare condition which appears as recurrent intermittent abdominal pain after consumption of food with intermittent colicky pain and sometimes with completely asymptomatic period. This gut twist may result in complications such as ischemia, obstruction, hemorrhage, or perforation. In the yolk sac during the third week of intrauterine life, there is normal communication with intraembryonic gut. During development proceeds, this communication gets thinner into a tube known as the vitellointestinal duct. Vitellointestinal duct usually becomes obliterated before eighth week of intrauterine life. In about 2% of people this duct persists and gives rise to a group of anomalies such as Meckel’s diverticulum is the commonest and complete patency of the duct is the rarest. Here we present the case of a 34-year-old male who presented with both conditions.

In this work, kinetics and mechanism of Ru(III) catalyzed oxidation of cyclohexanone by acidified solution of potassium bromate has been studied. Present study employ mercuric acetate Hg (OAc)2 as a scavenger for Br¯?ion to prevent parallel oxidation by bromine. The kinetics and mechanism have also been studied in the temperature range of 30°C - 45°C. The reaction exhibits first order kinetics with respect to Ru (III), while zero order kinetics with respect to KBrO3 and HClO4. The influence of Hg(OAc)2 and ionic strength on the rate of reaction was found to be insignificant. Positive effect in the reaction mixture was also observed upon addition of chloride ion;while as the negative effect was revealed with acetic acid. A suitable mechanism in conformity with the kinetic observations has been proposed and the rate law is derived on the basis of obtained data. The various activation parameters such as energy of activation (ΔE*), Arrhenius factor (A), entropy of activation (ΔS*) were calculated from the rate measurements at 30°C, 35°C - 40°C and 45°C.

Jamuna River is one of the principal rivers of Bangladesh, changing continuously due to erosion and accretion over the past decades. This analysis evaluates the East Bank and the West Bank erosion and accretion between 1996 and 2015 for Jamuna River. An unsupervised classification algorithm and post-classification change employing skills in Geographic Information System are performed to evaluate spatial and temporal dynamics of erosion and accretion for different points of Jamuna River using Bangladesh. Landsat image (1995, 2005, 2015). The correctness of the Landsat-produced map ranges from 82% to 84%. It has been evidently observed that changes in the proportion of erosion and accretion differ in different points of Jamuna River. The highest eroded area is 3.82 square kilometers (km2) during the period of 1995 to 2005 and the highest accreted area is 6.15 square kilometers (km2) during the period of 1995 to 2015. The erosion and accretion values fluctuated from place to place. The changing trend of Riverbank is creating many socio-economic problems in the proximate areas.

Crop Discrimination Using Field Hyper Spectral Remotely Sensed Data

Crop discrimination through satellite imagery is still problematic. Accuracy of crop classification for high spatial resolution satellite imagery in the intensively cultivated lands of the Egyptian Nile delta is still low. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to determine the optimal hyperspectral wavebands in the spectral range of (400 - 2500 nm) to discriminate between two winter crops (Wheat and Clover) and two summer crops (Maize and Rice). This is considered as a first step to improve crop classification through satellite imagery in the intensively cultivated areas in Egypt. Hyperspectral ground measurements of ASD field Spec3 spectroradiometer was used to monitor the spectral reflectance profile during the period of the maximum growth stage of the four crops. 1-nm-wide was aggregated to 10-nm-wide bandwidths. After accounting for atmospheric windows and/or areas of significant noise, a total of 2150 narrow bands in 400 - 2500 nm were used in the analysis. Spectral reflectance was divided into six spectral zones: blue, green, red, near-infrared, shortwave infrared-I and shortwave infrared-II. One Way ANOVA and Tukey’s HSD post hoc analysis was performed to choose the optimal spectral zone that could be used to differentiate the different crops. Then, linear regression discrimination (LDA) was used to identify the specific optimal wavebands in the spectral zones in which each crop could be spectrally identified. The results of Tukey’s HSD showed that blue, NIR, SWIR-1 and SWIR-2 spectral zones are more sufficient in the discrimination between wheat and clover than green and red spectral zones. At the same time, all spectral zones were quite sufficient to discriminate between rice and maize. The results of (LDA) showed that the wavelength zone (727:1299 nm) was the optimal to identify clover crop while three zones (350:712, 1451:1562, 1951:2349 nm) could be used to identify wheat crop. Chia seed oil (Salvia hispanica L.) contains polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids and natural antioxidants that have many health effects. Consequently, the chief purpose of the present study was the outcome of various attentiveness of chia seed oil on quality and sensory evaluation of ice milk. In treatments T1, T2, T3, and T4, the milk fat was moderately swapped with chia seed oil at 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%, respectively, and compared with the control treatment (100% milk fat). All treatments were stored at -18°C for 30 days. Samples were analyzed fortnightly and monthly to determine the shelf life during the storage period by acidity and peroxide value. Physicochemical properties of fatty acids, total polyphenols, and total flavonoids of chia seed oil and ice milk samples were determined. Impact of Ursodeoxycholic Acid on Gall Stone Formation Post Bariatric Surgery

Introduction: Bariatric surgery is identified as highly effective therapy for obesity and help to loss wight that is become important public health priority because it increases the risk of condition including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and several types of cancer whether by accomplishing mini-gastric bypass, Gastric bypass (Roux-en-Y) and sleeve gastrectomy [1] rapid weight loss increased incidence risk of gall stone formation [2]. Ursodeoxycholic acid is a bile acid which affect a reduction in cholesterol in biliary fluid primary by dispersing the cholesterol and forming a liquid-crystal phase [2], it’s can play a significant role in preventing of gall stone formation. Objective: Study potential effect of Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) on gall stone formation after bariatric surgery. Methods: This study Cross-sectional Trials, review of all patient underwent bariatric surgery November 2021-Jun 2022, Taif Military Hospital in the department of surgery, the sample of study will be around 143 participants or more, data collection all patient underwent bariatric surgery. Results: A Total of 160 patients underwent bariatric surgery in Taif Armed Forces Hospitals from 2015 to 2021. Of these, 53 were male (33.1%) and 107 were female (66.9%). only 33 patients (20.6%) received Ursodeoxycholic acid, and 127 patients (79.4%) weren’t proscribed for them. However, 40 patients (25%) develop gall stone and underwent cholecystectomy, three of them were on Ursodeoxycholic acid (9%) and 37 patients weren’t on Ursodeoxycholic acid (29%). which shows that Ursodeoxycholic acid remarkable reduce the risk of gall stone formation post wight reduction surgery. Conclusion: In conclusion, bariatric procedures come with the risk of leading to the formation of gallstones. This is especially in the stage when a patient experiences rapid loss of weight. Production of Cocoa Butter Substitute from Extra Virgin Olive Oil Rich in Omega-9 and Polyphenols

The objective of this study was to produce healthy cocoa butter substitutes from extra virgin olive oil rich in omega-9 and polyphenols by blending process with palm oil avoiding hydrogenation and esterification processes. Oil blends, formulated by binary blends of palm oil and extra virgin olive oil at different ratios (90:10, 80:20 and 70:30) compared with commercial cocoa butter. The physicochemical properties (refractive index, melting and slip point, color index, acidity, peroxide value, iodine number and induction period by Rancimat method) have been determined for palm and olive oils and the produced cocoa butter substitute. Also, fatty acid composition was identified by gas liquid chromatography and solid fat content of the produced cocoa butter substitute was measured by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and total polyphenols of oils and produced cocoa butter substitute were determined. The results indicated that all the values of melting and slip point were about the human body temperature (37°C), also results show a high content of cocoa butter produced from oleic acid, as well as phenolic compounds, and this leads to an increase in oxidative stability.

First Cycle Neutrophil Count and Subsequent Chemotherapy Dose Delivery in Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Adjuvant Chemotherapy

Background: Chemotherapy-induced neutropenia is a major dose-limiting toxicity of systemic cancer chemotherapy, and it is associated with substantial morbidity, mortality, and costs. The ability to predict the group of patients who are at high risk for neutropenic complications might help to reduce the morbidity due to febrile neutropenia and increase the likelihood of delivering full chemotherapy dose on time. In addition, hematopoietic growth factors could be administered to patients who need them and allow more efficient use of medical resources. Methods: The study included 120 female patients with breast cancer, treated in adjuvant setting with FAC chemotherapy regimen. Chemotherapy was delayed if the ANC was less than 1500 cells/μL on the planned first day of the cycle. Dose delays would be for 1 week. The chemotherapy dose was reduced if the patient experienced an episode of febrile neutropenia. Dose reductions usually consist of a 20% reduction in dosage of all chemotherapy drugs. Results: Out of the 120 patients in the study, 58 patients experienced neutropenic complications (febrile neutropenia or dose delayed) accounting for 48.3% of total sample size. In univariate analysis, there was statistically significant association between first cycle ANC nadir and neutropenic complication (p = 0.0001). There was also statistically significant association between pretreatment first cycle ANC (p = 0.001), pretreatment platelets count (p = 0.054), first cycle platelets count nadir (p = 0.041), number of involved lymph nodes (p = 0.031) and the occurrence of varies neutropenic complications. However, in multivariate analysis, ANC nadir was only the independent risk factor for occurrence of neutropenic. Conclusions: The first cycle absolute neutrophil counts nadir provides useful information on the risk of future neutropenia, febrile neutropenia and dose delay or reduction with estimated sensitivity and specificity, which were 64.5% and 77.6%, respectively. Measurement, data collection, and analyzing statistically the spectral response of different bottom types are all important steps in mapping shallow water bottom types with remote sensing. Five small islands in the Spermonde archipelago, South Sulawesi, in Indonesia, were selected to measure the reflectance spectral of benthic communities. The objective of this study was to determine optical properties of the live corals, dead corals covered with algae, coral rubber covered with algae, broken shell, sand, seagrass and macro algae. Pearson correlation coefficient and cluster analysis were used to determine spectral similarity in and among coral species based on spectral responses at observed wavelengths and to examine the similarities between the categories. Several benthic communities appear to be highly correlated with one another when the entire spectrum is considered, which may lead to classification errors. Porites meyeri, dead corals and coral rubber （〉 3 months ago） share a high degree of similarity in reflectance. The other coastal benthic communities are readily discriminated.
