Probabilistic Analysis of Shallow Foundation Settlement considering Soil Parameters Uncertainty Effects

One of the most important challenges in the design of the foundation of the Earth layer below the surface is the Summit Foundation, which can be a very large impact on the sustainability and the structure of the desired user. Based on this analysis and design criteria of two successive ruptures (load bearing) and settlement, due to the nature of non-homogeneous soil and its parameters uncertainty, relying on one number as the amount of foundation settlement doesn’t seem logical. This is while in the methods of the probability distribution function by taking the probability for each of the input parameters, or the characteristics of each parameter, the parameter values are likely to have the chance of occurrence. In this research, effort is made using the method of probabilistic Monte Carlo simulation, the effect of the uncertainty of parameters influencing the mechanical behavior following the successive layers of earth and examined. In the event that non-deterministic model input variables for describing, not non-deterministic model output as well. So the output of each method to analysis of the concept of the probability distribution function for the input variables is a function of the probability distribution for the target function. In this study, the reliability of the settlement for the three modes of settlement center, corner of rigid foundation is fitted with two types of normal probability distribution and the log-normal distributions. For this purpose, the parameters of the effect of the transition on the analysis of soil modulus of elasticity of foundation, such as settlement and the coefficient of Poisson ratio distribution in probability using probabilistic log-normal and normal have been considered. Analysis indicated that the settlement in the center of the wake is flexible critical than the other two and has a higher probability of occurrence of the settlement in this part of the foundation. Optimal Estimation and Tracking Control for Variable-speed Wind Turbine with PMSG

Designing an optimal tracking controller and system observer is a nonlinear problem in the variable-speed wind energy conversion system(WECS).In this paper,an adjusted feedforward and feedback optimal controller with extended Kalman filter(EKF)is introduced to estimate and control the permanent magnet synchronous generator(PMSG)for the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)with several disturbances of the wind *** augmented model of wind turbine and PMSG is expanded,and then the parameters of the optimal controller and estimator are *** dynamic stability of the closed-loop system with feedback-feedforward controller(FFC),EKF and speed controller are *** compare the dynamic performance of EKF and FFC with the conventional controllers,numerical results are demonstrated with the disturbances of the wind speed and faults in power grid.

An online estimator for rotor resistance in vector drives of induction machines based on Walsh functions

In a modern electrical driver, rotor field oriented control an appropriate transient response. In this method, the space （RFOC） method has been used to achieve a good performance and vector of the rotor flux comes handy by the rotor resistance value. The rotor resistance is one of the important parameters which varies according to motor speed and room temperature alteration. In this paper, a new on-line estimation method is utilized to obtain the rotor resistance by using Walsh functions domain. The Walsh functions are one of the most applicable functions in piecewise constant basis functions （PCBF） to solve dynamic equations. On the other hand, an integral operational matrix is used to simplify the process and speed of the computation algorithm. The simulations results show that the proposed method is capable of solving the dynamic equations in an electrical machine on a time interval which robustly estimates the rotor resistance in contrast with injection noises.

Hybrid extended Fourier series for optimal control of nonlinear algebraic dynamical systems

The paper introduces a new method for finding optimal control of algebraic dynamic systems. The structure of algebraic dynamical systems is nonlinear with quadratic and bilinear terms. A new hybrid extended Fourier series is introduced, and state and control variables of the system are expanded by this series. Moreover, properties of new series are presented, and integration and product operational matrices are obtained. Using operational matrices, optimal control of the systems is converted to a set of simultaneous nonlinear algebraic relations. An illustrative example is included to compare our results with those in the literature.

Effect of Functionalized Magnetite Nanoparticles and Diaminoxanthone on the Curing, Thermal Degradation Kinetic and Corrosion Property of Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol A-Based Epoxy Resin

To prepare a high-performance epoxy resin with excellent thermal, chemical and corrosion stability, diaminoxanthone（DAX） was used to cure diglycidylether of bisphenol-A（DGEBA）-based epoxy resin and blend of DGEBA with functionalized Fe3O4 nanoparticles. Kinetic parameters of curing and thermal degradation of epoxy resin systems were estimated by differential scanning calorimetry（DSC） and thermogravimetric analysis（TGA）, respectively. The 10% weight loss temperature has been increased from 340 °C to 366 °C and there was an increase in the char yield from 32.6% to 45.3% for the above systems. The corrosion performance of epoxy coated carbon steel was examined by potentiodynamic polarization, along with immersion test in 1.0 mol/L HCl solution. The results showed that epoxy resins cured with DAX had low tendency to corrosion. In addition, the cured epoxy resin containing 10% Fe3O4 had higher anticorrosion activity than bare DGEBA system. The results showed that functionalized Fe3O4 nanoparticles enhanced char formation and improved the thermal stability as well as anticorrosion activity of the resin.
