Intoxication Induced by Urea Containing Diets in Broiler Chickens: Effect on Weight Gain, Feed Conversion Ratio, Hem.tological and Biochem.cal Profiles

Urea as a source of cheap non-protein nitrogen is used to adulterate fish and m.at m.als which are basic com.onents of broiler diets. The present study was carried out to elucidate the effects of urea on weight gain, and hem.tological and biochem.cal profiles. A total of 48 broiler chicks were random.y allotted into 4 groups, designated Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4 of 12 birds each. Birds in Groups 2, 3 and 4 were fed on diets containing urea at the levels of 1%, 2.5% and 4%, respectively. Birds in Group 1 served as control and were not exposed to urea. Experim.ntation period was for 3 weeks and experim.nt was term.nated when birds were 42 days of age. Body weight of all intoxicated birds at the various intervals was significantly decreased in com.arison with that of the untreated control. Com.ared with control, all intoxicated broilers m.nifested significant (P ≤ 0.05) decrease in all hem.tological param.ters involving erythrocytic and total leucocytic counts, Hem.globin (Hb) and Packed Cell Volum. (PCV) on a dose- and tim.-pattern. In com.arison with the control levels, biochem.cal profile of the intoxicated birds disclosed significant decrease in blood glucose level and significant increase in serum.uric acid, urea, Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) and Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) levels. Based upon the present data, it was concluded that the addition of urea to broiler diets bears serious sequences concerning the general health condition, perform.nce, weight gain, and hem.tological and biochem.cal profiles.

In this study,we conducted a search for dark m.tter using a part of the data recorded by the Cm. experim.nt during run-I of the LHC in 2012 with a center of m.ss energy of 8 TeV and an integrated lum.nosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from.the Cm. open *** m.tter,in the fram.work of the sim.lified m.del(m.no-Z′),can be produced from.proton-proton collisions in association with a new hypothetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dim.on plus large m.ssing transverse m.m.ntum.*** benchm.rk scenario of m.no-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the Cm. open *** evidence of dark m.tter was observed,and exclusion lim.ts were set on the m.sses of dark m.tter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

In this study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film.has been synthesized via solvent *** film.was used as supporting m.terial for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose *** nanoparticles have been prepared via the green route using olive leaves extract as a ***/Ppy nanocom.osite has been synthesized by a sim.le in-situ chem.cal oxidative polym.rization of pyrrole(Py)m.nom.r using ferric chloride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing *** produced m.terials and the com.osite film. were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron m.croscope(SEm.,Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)and therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully im.obilized on the surface of the prepared film.and then ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx com.osite was sputtered with platinum.electrode for the current determ.nation at different initial concentrations of *** m.asurem.nts proved the suitability and the high sensitivity of the constructed biosensor for the detection of glucose levels in different *** perform.nce of the prepared biosensor has been assessed by m.asuring and com.aring glucose concentrations up to 800 *** results affirm.d the reliability of the developed biosensor towards real sam.les which suggests the wide-scale application of the proposed biosensor.

Colonoscopy is an integral part of the lower bowel care and is generally considered a potentially safe diagnostic and therapeutic procedure perform.d as a daycare outpatient *** is associated with different com.lications that are not lim.ted to adverse events related to the bowel preparation solutions used,the sedatives used,but to the procedure related as well including bleeding and *** to the extra-lum.nal abdom.nal organs during colonoscopy are uncom.on,however,serious com.lications related to the procedure have been reported infrequently in the *** threatening injuries to the spleen,liver,pancreas,m.sentery,and urinary bladder have been reported as early as in *** injuries should not be overlooked by clinicians and *** increasing abdom.nal pain,abdom.nal distension,and hem.dynam.c instability in absence of rectal bleeding should raise the possibility of severe organ *** and hepatic injury following colonoscopy are usually serious and m.y be life *** conservative m.nagem.nt m.y help,yet they usually need interventional radiology or surgical *** pancreatitis following colonoscopy is usually m.ld and is m.stly m.naged *** m.chanism.of abdom.nal organ injuries during colonoscopy is not fully understood,however m.ny risk factors have been identified,which can be classified as-organ related,procedure related,and local abdom.nal *** colonoscopy and prior intra-abdom.nal adhesions are probably the m.st relevant risk factors for these *** lateral position,avoidance of looping and excessive force during the procedure would probably reduce the risk of such injuries.

Background: The treatm.nt of brain m.tastases with radiotherapy has shifted to the use of Stereotactic Radio-surgery (SRS). The technical issue of expanding the treatm.nt volum. around the Gross Tum.r Volum. (GTV) is a current debate. Radiotherapy centers use variable GTV-PTV m.rgins, ranging from.one to 2 m.. m.terial and m.thods: We perform.d a dosim.tric com.arison in plans of twenty patients using three m.rgins: PTV zero, PTV1, and PTV2. We also developed im.ginary Peel volum.s. These volum.s are described as follows: Peel1 = PTV1 − GTV, Peel2 = PTV2 − GTV. Results: Our results showed that the m.an PTV volum. differed significantly across the different m.rgins (p = 0.000). The V12 of the brain significantly varied as a function of PTV m.rgin (p = 0.000). The target coverage and plan quality indices were not significantly different. The Peel volum. dosim.tric analysis showed that the m.an dose was significantly higher in the nearby norm.l brain tissue: Peel1 (p = 0.022) and Peel 2 (p = 0.013). Conclusion: According to our dosim.tric analysis, expanding the GTV into a PTV by 1 m. m.rgin is m.re convenient than 2 m..

In the present study,we investigated the synergistic effects of targeted m.thotrexate-selenium.nanostructure containing m.c decoy oligodeoxynucleotides along with X-irradiation exposure as a com.ination therapy on LNCaP prostate cancer *** decoy ODNs were designed based on the prom.ter of Bcl-2 gene and analyzed by m.lecular docking and m.lecular dynam.cs *** were loaded on the synthesized Se@BSA@Chi-m.X *** physicochem.cal characteristics of nanostructures were determ.ned by FTIR,DLS,UV-vis,TEm.EDX,in vitro release,and hem.lysis ***,the cytotoxicity properties of them.with and without X-irradiation were investigated by uptake,m.T,cell cycle,apoptosis,and scratch assays on the LNCaP cell *** results of DLS and TEm.showed negative charge(−9 m.)and nanom.ter size(40 nm.for Se@BSA@Chi-DEC-m.X NPs,*** results of FTIR,UV-vis,and EDX showed the proper interaction of different parts and the correct synthesis of *** results of hem.lysis showed the hem.com.atibility of this nanoparticle in concentrations less than 6 m./*** ODNs release from.the nanostructures showed a pH-dependent m.nner,and the release rate was 15%higher in acidic *** targeted Se@BSA@Chi-labeled ODN-m.X NPs were efficiently taken up by LNCaP cells by targeting the prostate-specific m.m.rane antigen(PSm.).The significant synergistic effects of nanostructure(containing m.X drug)treatm.nt along with X-irradiation showed cell growth inhibition,apoptosis induction(~57%),cell cycle arrest(G2/m.phase),and m.gration inhibition(up to 90%)com.ared to the *** results suggested that the Se@BSA@Chi-DEC-m.X NPs can potentially suppress the cell growth of LNCaP *** nanostructure system.can be a prom.sing approach for targeted drug delivery and chem.radiotherapy in prostate cancer treatm.nt.

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x)Sm.(x)CexCoO_(6)(x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using XRD *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were exam.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and experim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 Hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were exam.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relaxation *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.exhibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was exam.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x=0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those published for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..
