Objective:To establish the antibacterial activity of lanthanides complexes with a tetradentate Schiff base ligand ***:(N,N'-bis(l-naphthaldimine)-o-phenylenediamine)was prepared from the condensation of 2—hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde with o-phenylenediamine in a molar ratio of 2:*** antimicrobial activity of the resultant Ln(Ⅲ)complexes was investigated using agar well diffusion and micro-broth dilution techniques;the latter was used to establish the minimum inhibitory concentrations for each compound ***:Most of Ln(Ⅲ)complexes were found to exhibit antibacterial activities against a number of pathogenic bacteria with MICs ranging between 1.95-250.00μg/*** aureus was the most susceptible bacterial species to[LaL(NO_3)_2(H_2O)](NO_3)complex while Shigella dysenteriae and Escherichia coli required a relatively higher MIC(250μg/mL).Trie complexes La(Ⅲ)and Pr(Ⅲ)were effective inhibitors against Staphylococcus aureus,whereas Sm(Ⅲ)complex was effective against Serratia *** the other hand,Gd(Ⅲ),La(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)were found to be more potent inhibitors against Pseudompnas aeruginosa than two of commonly used *** remaining Ln(Ⅲ)complexes showed no remarkable activity as compared to the two standard drugs ***:Tetradentate Schiff base ligand L and its complexes could be a potential antibacterial compounds after further investigation.

Green wireless networking is an emerging area for many societies,especially academia and industry,in light of economic and ecological *** wireless infrastructures exploiting green power sources can enhance sustainability due to the adverse effects of conventional power sources and atmospheric ***,the specific power supply requirements for a base station(BS),such as cost effectiveness,efficiency,sustainability,and reliability,can be met by utilizing technological advances in renewable *** drivers and motivators are involved in the deployment of renewable energy technologies and the transition toward green *** energy is free,clean,and abundant in most locations throughout the *** this work,a sustainable optimal stand-alone solarpowered model envisioning green cellular BSs for urban locations in Oman is *** model can extend 24 h uninterrupted power supply support to a cellular BS that fully utilizes an integrated storage *** system analysis is conducted using a hybrid optimization model for electric renewables(HOMER)based on actual prevailing conditions of the regions and their technical *** results showed can be achieved operational expenditure savings up to 16%.These outcomes provide a huge benefit to the cellular operators of Oman economically,technically,and ecologically.

Introduction: Platelet Rich-Fibrin (PRF) is a biological matrix derived from a patient’s own blood, rich in growth factors and platelets. Its use in various periodontal and non-periodontal procedures is gaining recognition due to its potential in promoting tissue regeneration. The purpose of this review was to evaluate the benefits of using PRF in intra-bony defect regeneration, guided-bone regeneration, and sinus floor elevation. Methods: The study searched PubMed for manuscripts published between 2017 and 2022 to better understand the clinical and radiological effects of PRF. The manuscripts were divided into the following sections: intra-bony defect regeneration, guided-bone regeneration, and sinus floor elevation. Results: In intra-bony defects, PRF improved clinical and radiological parameters when compared with OFD alone, with a significant difference in wound healing at 7 days. In GBR, a CBCT evaluation shows no statistical difference between the PRF-autogenous bone complex group and the bovine bone-collagen membrane complex regarding volume change of the augmented bone with a 16% rate of bone loss following a 6-month healing period. Also, a slight increase in bone thickness has been seen when liquid PRF is used. In sinus floor elevation, results revealed no differences in graft volume between PRF group and control group at any of the evaluated time points. Although higher implant stability immediately postoperatively, higher new bone formation, the lesser amount of residual graft and earlier implant placement. Conclusion: Platelet Rich-Fibrin is widely accepted for use in periodontal surgery and dentistry due to its minimally invasive nature and low risk of adverse effects, with positive results in tissue regeneration. There is evidence that PRF leads to improved and faster healing, as well as cost-effective regenerative procedures compared to other treatments.

Introduction: The use of lasers is an emerging therapy in periodontology, however, controversies regarding its use. Despite the vast amount of literature that is currently available, debates regarding the use of lasers in periodontal therapy continue. This review aims to summarize and clarify the myths surrounding the use of lasers in periodontal therapy, which may offer new hope for the treatment’s future. Methods: A comprehensive computer-based search was done using various databases like PubMed, Medline, and Cochrane Library. Results: Laser therapy has influenced periodontal treatment in many aspects. The advantages of laser over conventional instruments were reported, which include pain relief, inflammation reduction, tissue repair acceleration, wound healing, reduction of scar formation, removal of granulation tissue and epithelial lining, and treatment of periodontal pockets. Today, the laser starts to get more people’s attention. However, an evidence-based approach to using lasers in periodontal treatment must be developed. The potential risks associated with lasers should also be considered. There must be careful and strict safety precautions implemented. Conclusion: Although laser therapy has shown promising results in the treatment of periodontal disease, further research is needed before the clinical use of lasers in evidence-based practice. Further long-term studies and clinical studies in human models are needed to generalize laser therapy in periodontology.

Introduction: Leukocyte and platelet-rich fibrin (L-PRF) is an emerging material in dentistry, however, there are controversies surrounding its effectiveness. Despite the amount of literature available, debates regarding its effect continue. This review aims to summarize and clarify the data surrounding the use of L-PRF in promoting the healing of extraction sockets, which may offer a better outcome for future treatments. Purpose: The purpose of this review is to evaluate the current literature on the use of L-PRF in promoting the healing of extraction sockets, and to provide a comprehensive overview of the available evidence. Methods: A comprehensive computer-based search of databases such as PubMed, Medline, and Cochrane Library was conducted. Results: The results of this review suggest that L-PRF has shown promise in promoting early healing of extraction sockets, but the evidence for its effectiveness over a longer period is limited. Conclusion: Although L-PRF has shown promising results in the early healing periods, its effectiveness over a longer healing period cannot be confirmed based on the available data. More clinical trials with standardized protocols and consistent measurement methods are needed to establish the role of L-PRF in enhancing the healing of extraction sockets.

One of the methods of mathematical analysis in many cases makes it possible to reduce the study of differential operators, pseudo-differential operators and certain types of integral operators and the solution of equations containing them, to an examination of simpler algebraic problems. The development and systematic use of operational calculus began with the work of O. Heaviside (1892), who proposed formal rules for dealing with the differentiation operator d/dt and solved a number of applied problems. However, he did not give operational calculus a mathematical basis;this was done with the aid of the Laplace transform;J. Mikusiński (1953) put operational calculus into algebraic form, using the concept of a function ring [1]. Thereupon I’m suggesting here the use of the integration operator dt to make an extension for the systematic use of operational calculus. Throughout designing and analyzing a control system, we need to treat the functionality of the system with respect to time. The reaction of the system instructs us how to stable it by amplifiers and feedbacks [2], thereafter the Differential Transform is a good tool for doing this, and it’s a technique to frustrate difficulties we may bump into, also it has the methods to find the immediate reaction of the system with respect to infinitesimal (tiny) time which spares us from the hard work in finding the time dependent function, this could be done by producing finite series.

Intelligent Transportation System(ITS)is one of the revolutionary technologies in smart cities that helps in reducing traffic congestion and enhancing traffic *** the help of big data and communication technologies,ITS offers real-time investigation and highly-effective traffic *** Flow Prediction(TFP)is a vital element in smart city management and is used to forecast the upcoming traffic conditions on transportation network based on past *** Network(NN)and Machine Learning(ML)models are widely utilized in resolving real-time issues since these methods are capable of dealing with adaptive data over a period of *** Learning(DL)is a kind of ML technique which yields effective performance on data classification and prediction *** this motivation,the current study introduces a novel Slime Mould Optimization(SMO)model with Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU)model for Traffic Prediction(SMOBGRU-TP)in smart ***,data preprocessing is performed to normalize the input data in the range of[0,1]using minmax normalization ***,BiGRUmodel is employed for effective forecasting of traffic in smart ***,the novelty of the work lies in using SMO algorithm to effectively adjust the hyperparameters of BiGRU *** proposed SMOBGRU-TP model was experimentally validated and the simulation results established the model’s superior performance in terms of prediction compared to existing techniques.
