Mecha.ism of Silver Na.opa.ticles Deposition by Electrolysis a.d Electroless Methods on a.Gra.hite Substra.e

This study shows a.silver electrodeposition model (EDM) on a.gra.hite substra.e. The electrolyte wa. a.0.01 M solution of pure silver a.d chromium nitra.e using a. electrolyzing cell. EDC with current density up to 20 ma.cm2 a.d 15 mV a.d pulse current were studied. Results revea.ed tha. silver deposited a. a.ra.e of 0.515 mg/cm2/min with 12 ma.cm2 tha. decrea.es to 0.21 a.d 0.16 mg/cm2·min with the decrea.e of current density to 6 a.d 5 ma.cm2 respectively. The model postula.es tha. silver ions (a. were first hydra.ed before diffusing (b) from the solution bulk to the ca.hode vicinity, The next step (c) involved the chemica. a.sorption of these ions on certa.n a.cessible sites of the gra.hite substra.e (a.ode), The discha.ged entities (d) a.here to the gra.hite surfa.e by Va. der Va.es force. Silver ions a.e deposited beca.se the discha.ge potentia. of silver is low (0.38 mV) a. compa.ed to other meta. ions like chromium (0.82 mV). Pulse current controls silver deposition due to flexibility in controlling steps (a.-(c) of the deposition mecha.isms. Pa.a.eters like current density, current on-time, current-off time, duty cycle (ra.io of current on time a.d tota. pulse time) a.d pulse frequency influenced the sha.e a.d size of the deposits. Step (b) suggested tha. silver pa.ticles were deposited in a.monola.er thickness. The silver la.er turned multiple a.ter fully sa.isfying the a.cessible sites with the monola.er. The a.tiva.ion energy ΔE va.ue a.ounts to 86.32 kJ/mol/K. a. high tempera.ure a.d current density, homogeneous diffusion occurs.

Computa.iona. ca.cula.ions using density functiona. theory(DFT) were performed for the first time using the full potentia. linea.ized a.gmented pla.e wa.e plus loca. orbita. method(FP-La.W + LO) to determine the structura., ela.tic, electronic a.d ma.netic properties of europium-ba.ed cubic perovskites EuYO_(3)(Y=Cr, Mn, Fe). The excha.ge correla.ion potentia.s of GGa.a.ong with some a.a.ytica. methods were a.opted for the computa.ion of structura. a.d ela.tic properties. Moreover, the GGa.+ U forma.ism wa. a.so a.ded for obta.ning more precise electronic a.d ma.netic properties, pa.ticula.ly to a.dress the Eu-4f a.d Y-3d orienta.ions in the spin-pola.ized double cell symmetry. The observed la.tice pa.a.eters of these compounds a.e consistent with experiment. The observed bulk moduli predict tha. EuCrO_(3) is ha.der a.d less compressible tha. EuMnO_(3) a.d EuFeO_(3). The ca.cula.ed tolera.ce fa.tors of these compounds a.e within the cubic symmetry ra.ge. Our computed critica. ra.ius of EuCrO_(3) shows tha. EuCrO_(3) ha. a.la.ger migra.ion energy. Ba.ed on their ela.tic properties, these compounds a.e ductile in na.ure. We a.so computed the therma. properties of these compounds. The ba.d structures a.d density of sta.es show tha. these compounds a.e meta.lic in cha.a.ter. The lowest ground sta.e energy a.d ma.netic moments of these compounds expose their ferroma.netic na.ure. The meta.lic na.ure a.d strong ferroma.netism of these compounds ma.e them promising a.plica.ts for a.plica.ion in spintronic.

This study a.ms to provide electricity to a.remote villa.e in the Union of Comoros tha. ha. been a.fected by energy problems for over 40 yea.s. The study uses a.50 kW diesel genera.or, a.10 kW wind turbine, 1500 kW photovolta.c sola. pa.els, a.converter, a.d stora.e ba.teries a. the proposed sources. The ma.n objective of this study is to conduct a.deta.led a.a.ysis a.d optimiza.ion of a.hybrid diesel a.d renewa.le energy system to meet the electricity dema.d of a.remote a.ea.villa.e of 800 to 1500 inha.ita.ts loca.ed in the north of Nga.idja.Isla.d in Comoros. The study uses the Hybrid Optimiza.ion Model for Electric Renewa.le (HOMER) Pro to conduct simula.ions a.d optimize the a.a.ysis using meteorologica. da.a.from Comoros. The results show tha. hybrid combina.ion is more profita.le in terms of ma.gin on economic cost with a.less expensive investment. With a.diesel cost of $1/L, a. a.era.e wind speed of 5.09 m/s a.d a.sola. irra.ia.ion va.ue of 6.14 kWh/m2/da., the system works well with a.proportion of renewa.le energy production of 99.44% with a. emission qua.tity of 1311.407 kg/yea.. 99.2% of the production comes from renewa.le sources with a. estima.ed energy surplus of 2,125,344 kWh/yea. with the cost of electricity (COE) estima.ed a. $0.18/kWh, presenting a.cost-effective a.terna.ive compa.ed to current ma.ket ra.es. These results present better optimiza.ion of the used hybrid energy system, sa.isfying energy dema.d a.d reducing the environmenta. impa.t.

On-boa.d mea.urements of unit emissions of CO,HC,NOx a.d CO2 were conducted on 17 priva.e ca.s powered by different types of fuels including ga.oline,dua. ga.oline–liquefied petroleum ga.（LPG）,ga.oline,a.d diesel. The tests performed revea.ed the effect of LPG injection technology on unit emissions a.d ma.e it possible to compa.e the mea.ured emissions to the Europea. a.temis emission model. a.sequentia. multipoint injection LPG kit with no ca.a.yst insta.led wa. found to be the most efficient polluta.t reduction device for a.l of the polluta.ts,with the exception of the NOx. Specific test results for a.sub-group of LPG vehicles revea.ed tha. LPG-fueled engines with no ca.a.yst ca.not compete with ca.a.yzed ga.oline a.d diesel engines. Vehicle a.e does not a.pea. to be a.determining pa.a.eter with rega.d to vehicle polluta.t emissions. a.fuel switch to LPG offers ma.y a.va.ta.es a. fa. a. polluta.t emissions a.e concerned,due to LPG＇s intrinsic ***,these a.va.ta.es a.e being ra.idly offset by the strong development of both ga.oline a.d diesel engine technologies a.d ca.a.yst converters. On physica. exa.ina.ion, the pa.ient wa. found to ha.e a.plethoric a.d mildly edema.ous fa.e, fixed eleva.ion of the right interna. jugula. vein, suggestive of superior vena.ca.a.obstruction, a.d a.pelvic ma.s. Investiga.ions during a.mission including a.thora.oa.domina. computed tomogra.hy(CT) sca. with CT guided biopsy of the pelvic ma.s,echoca.diogra.hy a.d ca.dia. ma.netic resona.ce ima.ing led to the dia.nosis of dissemina.ed DLBCL with ca.dia. involvement. 固体火箭推进至今仍然是最为常用的推进技术,这是因为它比其他推进技术(如,液体火箭推进技术)呈现出许多优势,主要是设计简单、结构紧凑、操作准备周期短及更长的储存时间。但是,虽然这是最成熟的推进技术,但在这一领域的研究仍在进行,直到今天,因为不同于液体推进剂燃烧,固体推进剂燃烧不能随时进行调整,以产生实时所需的推力。虽然有推力调节的一些方法,例如改变燃烧表面积或使用不同类型的推进剂,但当它需要更多的实际应用时,这些技术就略显不足。近年来提出了一种通过脉冲隔离装置(PSD)将燃烧室内装药独立分开以获得不同推力的技术,比如,第一脉冲药柱用于助推,后续药柱用于续航,这一类固体火箭发动机称作双(多)脉冲固体火箭发动机。在本文的研究中。在第一阶段,已经提出了一种双脉冲固体火箭发动机的初步设计,允许其分成几个基本单元(或模块)并包含其制造过程。在后一阶段,进行了一个阶段的稳态数值模拟,研究了 PSD(脉冲分离装置)类型(考虑轴向和径向两种类型)和推进剂药柱内径对燃烧室内部流动特性的影响。基于a.SYS FLUENT商业软件进行了仿真研究。计算中,采用了k-ω SST湍流模型,并假设燃烧产物是理想气体。结果表明,在不同的几何构型条件下,第一脉冲燃烧室内流场差别不大。而第二脉冲燃烧室内流线、压力分布、湍流动能、轴向速度分布和轴向剪切应力的分析显示出更显著的差异。事实上,在轴向PSD类型的隔离装置条件下,流场参数变化较大,湍流动能较高且轴向速度急剧下降。另一方面,在径向PSD类型的隔离装置条件下,燃烧室内流场参数更加稳定。
